USA High School Yearbooks by State and County

Frederick F. Pausche age 84 of Wickliffe for 44 years died Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Pausche was a machinist for the former National Screw and Manufacturing Co. now RB&W, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Wickliffe where he coordinated adult funeral servers for many years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Wickliffe and Parents of Priests. He was a volunteer for Euclid Meridia Hospital. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his son Fr. Frederick F. Pausche, Pastor at St. Gabriel Church in Concord Twp; brother Eric Pausche of Avon, Ohio; half brothers Robert and Karl (Wendie) Pausche; half sister Betty (Fred) Jonke; step-brother Richard Brodnik; special adopted family: Dowds, Wades, and Gaskills.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille; brother Joseph; sister Marian Schumacher; parents Joseph and Rosa Pausche; step-mother Sophie Pausche.
Funeral mass 11:00 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Frederick F. Pausche in c/o Reverend Frederick Pausche 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp., 44060 for local food banks.

Mildred M. D'Arcangelo Potter (Ackroyd) age 81of Painesville formerly of Eastlake, died Friday at Lake East Hospital in Painesville. She was born September 10, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Potter was retired from the U.S. Navy Finance Center in Cleveland after 20 years of service. She was an avid reader, loved to talk politics, and took great pride in the work she did for the Navy Dept., where she received many commendations for her work.
Survivors include her daughters Ruth Ann (Joseph) Girz of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Paula D’Arcangelo of Mentor, and Susan D’Arcangelo, of Madison; son Charles (Sandra) D’Arcangelo of Mentor; grandchildren Lisa Girz, Tricia Lackey, Jeffrey Girz, Diane D’Arcangelo, Angela Barnum, Robin Young, Ashley and Joey D’Arcangelo; great-grandchildren Daniel, Amber, Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Marie Ackroyd; husband Roland Potter; brother Fred Ackroyd.
Funeral service 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Brunner-Nixon Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 176 N. State Street, Painesville where the family will receive friends 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service for Josephine G. Morrell Stahle, age 100, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Stahle died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Kemper House in Mentor. She was born Jan. 23, 1908, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland and Willoughby before moving to Mentor.
She was a founding member of Mentor Senior Center, where she was active in the Follies & Choir. She was also a member of the Willoughby Senior Center, Mentor United Methodist Church, and RSVP Lake County Council on Aging, where she was a volunteer. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, knitting, crocheting and craft projects. Mrs. Stahle was an operator and special count person for the former Ohio Bell Telephone Company in Cleveland.
Survivors are her children, Joann (Harry Jr.) Fox of Brecksville and Lois (Charles) Miller of Mentor; grandchildren, David (Melissa) Fox, Douglas (Emilie) Fox, Leslie (Michael) Kolschetzky and Laura Miller; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilburt Morrell; second husband, William Stahle; brother, L. Carl Rick; and parents, Karl and Anna Rick.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 734C Alpha Dr., Highland Heights, OH 44143.

Funeral service for Philip A. Soukup, age 87, formerly of Mentor, will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mr. Soukup died April 15, 2008, at Arden Courts in Bainbridge Township. He was born in 1920, he lived in Cleveland and East Cleveland before moving to Mentor in 1968.
He was employed in the engineering department at Towmotor/Caterpillar Corp. for over 32 years until his retirement in 1974. A World War II veteran, Philip served in the U.S. Army from October 1942 through December 1945, primarily in New Guinea and the Philippines.
A man of may interests, Philip enjoyed fishing, hunting, photography, archery, bowling, lapidary, jazz, reading and "COLLECTING". He was a member of the Geauga Bowmen, Ohio Decoy Carvers and Collectors Assn. (ODCCA), Old Reel Collectors Assn. (ORCA), and a lifetime member of the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC).
He is survived by his daughters, Peggy (Tom) Hannan of Chagrin Falls and Karyn (Jim) Feeley of North Ridgeville and son, Paul Soukup of Altoona; grandchildren, Lauri (Eric) Kittelson of Streetsboro, Wendy (Mike) Zurca of Aurora, Pam Hannan (Craig) of Indianapolis, Patti (Jon) Gingo of Houston, Megan (Lito) Carabello of North Ridgeville, Pat Feeley of Cleveland, Kathy Feeley of Los Angeles and Clare Soukup of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Kristi (Scott) Dickerson, Stephanie and Lisa Zurca, James Beedle, Anthony and Kailey Gingo and Dale Soukup; and great-great-grandchildren, Molly and Ryan Dickerson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mimi Soukup; brother, William Soukup; and former wife, Ruth (Paul) Reisinger.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Margaret V. Rhodes age 91 of Willoughby for the past 15 years formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Madison Twp. died Friday, December 14, 2001at Lake Med Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 26, 1910 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Rhodes was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son Robert (Norma) Rhodes of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandchildren Melissa (Richard) Wormald, Meredith Rhodes, Debbie Vanone and Thomas (Doris) Kelley; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Claire Rhodes.
Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Monday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor where family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Interment Madison Memorial Cemetery, Madison.

Funeral Mass for Marie Clare Osgood, 86, of Mentor will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, NY.
Mrs. Osgood died at the Hospice House on Lake Erie in Cleveland, Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Buffalo, N.Y., before moving to Lake County 57 years ago.
She was a graduate of St. Nicholas Academy. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor, past president of the Isabella Guild of Painesville, member of the Lake County Board of Realtors, and a member of the Mentor Senior Center, where she bowled, golfed and played bridge. She was also a member of the 60 Plus Club, The Christ Child Society and served as treasurer of Catholic Knights of Northeast Ohio.
Mrs. Osgood was a real estate broker in Lake County from 1972 to 1995.
Survivors are daughter, Mary Ann (Scott) Morrison of Canton; son, Dave (Judy) Osgood of Concord Township; grandchildren, Larry Fiely III, of Chicago, Melissa (John) Graham of Fairview Park, Sarah Osgood of Madison, Brian Osgood of Concord Township; sister, Rose Crosson of Buffalo, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Edmond R. Osgood preceded her in death. Her parents, Edward A. and Rose Fortman; brother, Edward C. Fortman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Raymond and Sarina Osgood, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga, N.Y.

Nickolas B. Skidmore Jr., age 70, of Perry for the past 42 years, died Sept. 28, 2011, at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Chardon.
Mr. Skidmore was a roofer for the Local 44 in Cleveland. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Mentor. He enjoyed working outdoors, fixing things and watching movies.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Elena; daughters, Maria Regina (Michael) LaVan of Chardon and Anna Maria (James) Lucha of Perry; sons, Nickolas (Dawn) and David Skidmore; grandchildren,, Audryana Lucha, Michelle, Kenny and Johnny LaVan; mother Rose Skidmore; brother, George (Sally) Skidmore; niece, Trisha Paszczykowski; and nephew, Michael Skidmore.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nickolas Sr; and brothers, Dennis and Tom Skidmore.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH 44060.
