USA High School Yearbooks by State and County

Paul Boros, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He had been fighting Leukemia and had a heart condition.
He was a World War II Navy veteran of the Southwest Pacific Theatre.
Mr. Boros worked at Dingle-Clark Company and it's successor, W.W. Clark Corporation, Lake Erie Electric of Cleveland, and Cicerello Construction. He also started his own construction firm, PBI Electric and later worked for Mauka Inc., until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (formerly Clarke); son, Paul Michael (Dianne) Boros; and daughters, Laura Ann (Alan) Tomco, Lisa Christine (Stephen) Clarke and Andrea Clare Boros. He was the loving grandfather of Lia Marie and Natalie Rose Tomco and Dr. Jesse Lee (Carly) Capone; stepfather of Robert (Gale) Clarke, Nancy (David) Becerra, Dennis (Eileen) Clarke, Katherine (Mark) Zion, Stephen (Lisa) Clarke, Patrick (Shari deceased) Clarke, Maureen (Freddie) Jabbour, and Kevin Clarke; step-grandfather of 14; and uncle of many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anna (Olexa) Boros; former wife, Edith K. Boros; sister, Margo Gonzalez; brother, Dr. Alexander (Anna deceased) Boros; brother-in-law, Ralph Gonzalez.
Celebration of Life Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. (Please meet at church). Interment will be in Concord Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Northern Ohio Chapter, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland, OH 44145.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Funeral service for Hazel A. Banker, age 68, of Perry, will be 11am Monday, May 5, 2008 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Banker died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Lake East Hospital in Painesville. She was born July 14, 1939 in Denison, Ohio, she lived in Grand River until moving to Perry 32 years ago.
Mrs. Banker was a homemaker and a housekeeper for many area families. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed caring for her home and family. She took pride in flowers, gardens and bird watching.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Rev. Lloyd G. Banker; children Kathy (Thomas) Fratino, of Georgia, Mary Washington of California, Lloyd A. Banker, Sr. of Perry and Paul (Darlene) Banker of Concord Township; nine grandchildren Stephen Diffenbacher, Tommy Fratino II, Anthony Fratino, Misty (Matt) Valverdi, Lisa (Allen) Parra, Amanda (Mike) Crelin, Lloyd A. Banker, Jr., Christopher Banker and Melinda Banker; five great grandchildren A.J., Trenton, Hudson, Devin and Hanna; mother Mary E. Bailey of Florida; two sisters Louise Ditto of Florida, Ginny (Vern) Miles of Mentor and two brothers Richard Bailey of Willoughby and Bill Bailey of Florida. She was preceded in death by her father William E. Bailey and son in law Carl Washington.
Family will receive friends from 5-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment, Perry Cemetery, Perry Township.

Danny J. McGhee, age 63, of Painesville Twp for the past 33 years, formerly of Willoughby. Mr. McGhee died Saturday October 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 15, 1947 in St. Albans, W Va.
Mr. McGhee was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed shooting pool, golfing and bowling. One of his favorite things to do was to cookout with the “special recipe”. He loved his grandson’s “Boys, boys, boys,” he would say. He did the best he could while he was here…”I love you dad”.
Survivors include his daughter Candee “Bud” (Michael) Wright of TN; grandsons Justin M. McGhee, A1C Steven J. McGhee and Noah McGhee Wright; brothers Billy H. (Isabel) West, II and Jay P. West; sister Tina West; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee McGhee and Margaret June Jarrell McGhee West; grandparents Myrtie Michael, Mom and Poppy Masey.
Memorial service will be held 4pm Saturday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
Family will receive friends 2-4pm Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mr. McGhee’s memory in care of the family.

Memorial Mass for Antoinette "Babe" (Gambatese) Federico, age 92, of Mentor, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Saturday June 2, 2007 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. Federico died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born July 2, 1914, in Cleveland, she lived in Euclid before moving to Mentor in 1975.
She enjoyed golfing at Madison Country Club where she was a longtime member. She was a former member of St. Felicitas Church in Euclid and a current member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was very special to Mrs. Federico.
Survivors are her children, Frank (Valerie) Federico of Kirtland Hills, Patricia (Jerome) Sheehan of Seattle and Kathleen (Roger) Munson of Mentor; grandchildren, Audrey (Tom) Joyce, Amy (William) Young, Lisa Federico, Tina (Paul Roush) Federico, Kathleen (Ed) Burgess, Erin Sheehan, Michael Sheehan, Adam (Maureen) Munson and Anthony and Max Munson; and great-grandchildren, Monica, Matthew, Joseph, Francis, Dominic, Christina, Conor and Grady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic T. Federico; sisters, Concetta, Lucy, Rose, Mary, Christine and Josephine; and brother, Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Hospice House, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.

Chester L. Stull, 84, of Willoughby for the past 40 years and formerly of Euclid. Mr. Stull died Saturday July 18, 2009 at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 14, 1924 in Turtlepoint, PA.
Chester served in US Army serving during WWII in the 1060th AAF in the Asiatic Pacific Theater until February of 1946. He and his two brothers & stepfather were overseas at the same time. His middle brother and stepfather never made it back.
Chester graduated from Moler Barber College in 1948; he quit barbering to go to work for Addressograph Multigraph as a machine operator in 1955 until it closed in 1982.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and craftwork. He belonged the VFW Post 1500 and the NRA
Survivors include his wife Laura; daughter Bonnie (Robert) Davis of Painesville; grandchildren Dalton and Tabitha; great-grandchildren Autumn, Austin and Desiree; sister Mildred Cole of Union City, PA; daughter-in-law Mary Stull and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Lonnie; two brothers Earl and Oakley; sister Lenora and parents John Stull and Harriet; his stepfather Royal LeBar.
Graveside service will be 12:00 noon Wednesday July 22, at Willoughby Memorial Park.

Graveside service for L. Shirley Harvey, age 80, a lifelong Willoughby resident, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday May 26, 2007 at Willoughby Cemetery (Sharpe Ave.), Lot 296.
Mrs. Harvey died March 2, 2007 at Fairmount Health Center, Willoughby, Ohio. She was born January 31, 1927 Willoughby, Ohio. She was a retired assembler from Maytag in Eastlake, where she worked from 1981-1991.
Survivors include her daughters Christine (Robert) Broussard of Juneau, AK. and Sharon (Timothy) Bradley of Jacksonville, FL.; son Thomas (Kathryn) Harvey of Virginia Beach, VA.; 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; sister Ruth Pierce of Willoughby; brother Robert Schwarz of Willoughby. She was preceded in death Husband Wilson Harvey; parents Harry and Leona Schwarz; brother Harry Schwarz.
Contributions can be made in memory of L. Shirley Harvey to Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Rd., Willoughby, Ohio 44094.

Funeral service for Dolores N. "Dolly" LaRue (Strah), 82, of Mentor, formerly of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Mrs. LaRue died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Summerville Assisted Living in Mentor. She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Freedom, Pa.
Mrs. LaRue worked for Tomko for over 10 years before her retirement in 1997. She was also a longtime manager at Winkelmans. She enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling the U.S.A. and was a Pitcairn High School graduate.
Survivors are her children, Lynne Strah of Mentor and Eugene LaRue of Vermillion; grandchildren, Christopher and Dustin Strah of Mentor; and sisters, Betty Jane Mignogna and Elanore Salamone, both of Pitcairn, Pa.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Salamone and parents, Frank and Rose Salamone.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family suggests contributions to Big Brothers & Big Sisters, 8 North State St., Painesville, 44077.

Adrianna May Burr, age 11, of Olmsted Falls, formerly a resident of Lake County, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010. She was born Nov. 13, 1998, in Painesville.
Adrianna was a student at Olmsted Falls Middle School. Prior to that, she attended McKinley Elementary in Willoughby and Saybrook Elementary in Ashtabula. Adrianna was a girly girl who loved to dress up and wear makeup. Making people laugh, creating birthday cards and comforting others were just a few of the many traits that made Adrianna a special young lady. She loved cats, picking blueberries with her sister, camping, baking oatmeal bars, Christmas and especially orange flowers.
Adrianna was a great student who aspired to be a teacher one day. She was proud to hold the family record for catching the most fish when she would go with her dad, brother and sister. Spending time with her parents and especially her brother and sister meant a lot to Adrianna.
Survivors are her mother and stepfather, Carol (Richard) Potts of Olmsted Falls; father Adam (Patricia Davis) Burr of Madison; brother, Alan Wayne Burr of Olmsted Falls; sister, Ashley Michelle Burr of Geneva; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Heasley of Willoughby, maternal grandfather, David Kubacki of Concord Township; and paternal grandmother, Sheila (Michael) Elliott of Madison.
She is also survived by and preceded in death by many other loving family members.
Funeral service will be held noon Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Contributions may be made in memory of Adrianna to University Hospital's Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, 11100 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
