Funeral Mass for Josephine Torre (DiSaia), age 86, of Painesville for the past 60 years, a homemaker, will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday April 30, 2008 at St. Mary Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. Mrs. Torre died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at her residence. She was born February 7, 1922, in Frosolone, Italy.
Mrs. Torre was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesville.
Survivors are her daughter, Linda Komar of Painesville; granddaughters, Angela Pettrey (Komar) and Christine Komar; and sisters, Mary Carmella "Carmie" DiSaia of Painesville and Angelina Cardina of Akron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Torre; her parents, Felix and Mary DiSaia; sister, Nancy Colasessano; and brother, George DiSaia.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Funeral mass for Gregory K. Keyes, age 56, of Mentor will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday July 16, 2003 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord.
Mr. Keyes died Wednesday July 9 2003 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born January 5, 1947 in Cleveland, Oh., he had lived in Concord Twp. before moving to Mentor.
Greg was a Motorcycle patrolman for Willoughby Hills for the past 5 years. Prior to that he also was a motorcycle patrolman for Mayfield Village and Timberlake. Mr. Keyes was a retired fire Battalion Chief for the city of Mentor where he had worked from the fire fighter position in 1970 up to Fire Lieutenant in 1978, captain in 1985 and Battalion Chief in 1989 until his retirement in 1995. During his career he served as fire inspector, paramedic coordinator and fire instructor.
As a Lieutenant he organized the Mentor Fire Department Water Rescue Team which he commanded until his retirement. A graduate of Willoughby South High School, Cuyahoga Community College with a Associate Degree in Fire Technology in 1975. Mr. Keyes then completed his Paramedic Training at Richmond Heights General Hospital. Greg was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served 2 years in Army Military Intelligence. Greg completed his State of Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Program at Lakeland Community College in 1986.
He worked as a security officer for the Sears’ department store in Mentor. Keyes was also owner/operator of the former Concord Service, a landscaping company he started in the 1970’s. Prior to police and fire careers he worked at the former Addressograph-Multigraph.
Mr. Keyes enjoyed scuba diving, motorcycling with the BlueKnights Motorcycle group, gardening and spending time with his many friends. Greg was a person who influenced many members of the fire service while aiding the communities he so proudly served. He will be remembered as a highly motivated person and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his Kristopher K. Keyes of Concord Twp.; Daughter Kimberly K. Keyes of Concord Twp.; brother Gerald L. Keyes of Merritt Island, Fla.; nephew Gerald L. Keyes Jr. of Cocoa, Fla. and former wife Julie Keyes of Mentor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Dorothy Keyes and a brother Maurice Phillip Maddock.
Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor.
Entombment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.

Funeral mass for Cedric L. “Cess” Koons, age 89, of Eastlake will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday August 2, 2003 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor.
Mr. Koons died Wednesday July 30, 2003 at Heartland of Mentor.
He was born August 24, 1913 Wickliffe, he had lived in Willowick and Largo, Fla. before moving Eastlake 4 years ago.
Mr. Koons was a retired foreman at G.E. Tungsten Rd Plant in Euclid for 38 years until his retirement in 1978. He was a former member of St. Mary Magdalene, Member of St. John Vianney, Eagle Scout, loved bowling, golf and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Doris F. (nee Pinkney); daughter Jan (Ted) Nied of Painesville Twp.; sons Richard (Lora) Koons of Mentor, David (Cindy) Koons of Mentor & Tom (Fran) Koons of Eastlake; grandchildren Cynthia (Bob) Smith, Daniel (Rebecca) Nied, Michael (Trudy) & Mark Koons, Karen (William) Henshaw, Tony (Erica), Nicole, Tiffany, & Jeff Koons, Stacey & Jim Vyskocil; great-grandchildren; Sean, Brian, & Taylor Koons, Gregory & Adam Nied, Maxwell Henshaw.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Harold & Allan Koons.
Family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Entombment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

Funeral services for Ruth (Ward) Robbins, age 87, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mrs. Robbins died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at her daughter's home surrounded by family. She was born March 12, 1924, in Stainsville, Tenn., and had lived in Eastlake before moving to Willoughby.
Ruth was a homemaker and a retired assembler for Mill-Rose Industries in Mentor for 12 years. She was devoted Christian and a former member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Willoughby Hills. Ruth loved to cook, garden and read.
Survivors include her children, Lois Robbins of Grand River, Paul (Janet DeLong) Robbins of Perry, James Roger Robbins of Chardon, Barbara June (Michael) Burich of Kingsville and Cathy Cooper of Concord Township; grandchildren, Melissa (Domenic) Fabrizi, Russell (Shannon) Bullock, Jason (Patty) Burich, Nicole (A.J.) Mojica, Joshua (April) Burich, Jonathan Bullock, Kimberly (Jeremy) Cole, Adam Cooper and Benjamin Burich; and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Savannah and Annabella.
She was preceded in death are her husband, Houk Robbins; daughter-in-law, Wilma Robbins; parents, Lee and Lucy Ward; sisters, Lora Lawson and Esther Armes; and brothers, Condy, Bill, Lee Jr. and Alec Ward.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.

Ted H. Huddle, age 66, of Kirtland for the past 15 years and formerly of Centerville, Ohio, and Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
He was born Nov. 30, 1943, in Charleston, W.Va.
Mr. Huddle was chief information officer for Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland for the past 10 years. Prior to that, he was at Arter Hadden LLP in Cleveland for three years, Lexis Nexis Inc. in Dayton for 10 years and AK Steel in Ashland for 16 years.
He was a member of Competition Corvette Association and Lake County Amateur Radio Association.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Donna (Hensley) Huddle; son, Jarrod (Christine) Tackett of Mentor; three grandchildren, Conner, Dylan and Benjamin Tackett; brother, Richard "Rick" (Karen) Huddle of Columbus; and niece, Shannon Cassels of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred C. and Nina Huddle.
Funeral service will be held noon Friday November 12, 2010 at Old Stone Church, 91 Public Square, Cleveland.
Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, and 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the church. Interment will be at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, W.Va.
The family will host a reception in the fellowship hall at Old Stone Church immediately following the funeral.

Ricky Lee Perry, 38, a lifelong resident of Mentor, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Lake East Hospital in Painesville.
He was born Nov. 1, 1969, in Willoughby.
He was a 1987 graduate of Mentor High School. He loved fishing. Mr. Perry worked at Olmsted Falls Erecting Company as an iron worker.
Survivors are his four children, Cody Perry, Savannah "Sam" Perry, Zachary Perry and Garrett Perry, all of Mentor; mother, Janet Lee Perry of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; father, Jessie (Carol) Perry of Mentor; and brother, Steven (Creslyn) Perry of the Philippines.
Burial will be in West Virginia. The family suggests contributions to Freedom Assembly of God, Attn: Pastor Jason Tatterson, 4920 Forest Road, Mentor, OH 44060. Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Mentor.

Jarold A. Tomb, age 77, of Mentor since 1970, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Geauga Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1933, in Jamestown, N.Y.
Mr. Tomb was the owner/operator of Wine Distributor's Inc., located in Bedford Heights. He enjoyed golfing, reading and spending time with his family.
Survivors are his daughter, Stephanie Tome of Mentor; son, Jon (Chris) Tomb of Eastlake; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob and Jennifer Tomb and Kayla Tome. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen "Kay" Tomb.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday November 6, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery in Mentor. The family suggests contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
