USA High School Yearbooks by State and County

Rose E. Bayer, age 94, of Mentor, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Kemper House in Mentor. She was born June 1, 1916, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Bayer worked in the inspection department at TRW for many years.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors are children, Robert (Flo) Bayer of Montville, Jerome (Jean) Bayer of Euclid, Gloria (Gerald) Kreutzer of Minn., Ronald (Sandy) Bayer of Pickerington, Carole (Mark) Jacobson of Mentor, and Bill (Kathy) Bayer of Mentor; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nell Carpenter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Bayer; three sisters, Mary, Jean and Donnie; and three brothers, Joseph, Anthony and Victor.
Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday August 28, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.

Funeral mass for Stephanie Staidle, age 81, of Mentor will be held 1 p.m. Monday at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor, Ohio.
Mrs. Staidle died Thursday January 16, 2003 at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mentor.
She was born July 20, 1921 in McKee’s Rock, Pa., she had lived in McKee's Rock before moving to Mentor.
Mrs. Staidle was a bookkeeper for the former Lake County National Bank, now Bank One, in Painesville. She was a parishioner at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Mentor. She also enjoyed reading as well as watching the Cleveland Indians.
Survivors include her son Scott (Nancy) Staidle of Louisville, Ky; grandson Alex Staidle; sister Helen Colbow; brother Anthony Procak.
She was proceded in death by her husband Stanley; daughter Stacie Ann; sister Ann Burns.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Interment Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.

Funeral mass for June S. (Struble) Pattison, age 80, of Mentor will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, Oh.
Mrs. Pattison died Monday January 20, 2003 at Lake Hospital System in Willoughby.
She was born December 3, 1922 in Colton, Oh., she had lived in Mentor on the Lake before moving to Mentor in 1964.
She was a real estate agent for G.E. Realty, Peoples Realty and for Stanmore Realty from which she retired in 1986. Mrs. Pattison was a past president of the Lake County Board of Realtors. She had attended St. Mary of the Assumption and St. John Vianney Catholic Churches. She was a member of the ladies guild at St. Mary of the Assumption, she took part in the Eucharistic Adoration chapels and donated her time to the local churches. A U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.
Survivors include her daughters Michelle (Gary) Gersin, Jr. of Mentor and Patricia Pattison; sons Bruce Pattison of Cleveland, Robert (Norma) Pattison of Mentor, Thomas Pattison of Mentor, Michael (Jennie) Pattison of Mentor and Timothy Pattison of Mentor; grandchildren Theresa, Jeff, Derek, Michelle, Mike, Lindsey, Katie, Tiffany, Danny, Melanie, Jimmy, Lucy, Brad, June, Mark, Jon, David and Anthony; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert A.; daughter in law Bina Pattison; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor.
Interment Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 12200 Fairhill Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44120.

Freda J. Woerner, age 85, of Mentor since 1962 formerly of Painesville and Willoughby. Mrs. Woerner died Thursday May 1, 2008 at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights. She was born March 23, 1923 in Bremerhaven, Germany.
Mrs. Woerner was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cooking, reading, gardening collecting antiques and especially spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the time she spent at her and her husbands second home in Ft. Myers, FL.
Survivors include her son Ronald P. (Cathy) Woerner of Mentor; daughter Susan P. (Gary) Wise of Concord Twp. and James F. Woerner of Mentor; grandchildren David (Kristy) Maisch, Scott (Melissa) Maisch. Jeffrey P. and Bradley W. Wise. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip of 56 years; parents August and Gretchen Luperti.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Tuesday May 6, 2008 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Family will receive friends 11am – 12pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mrs. Woerner’s memory to Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic, One Clinic Center, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44197-9717 or to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44106.

Funeral mass for Anthony S. Mancuso, age 70, of Concord Twp. 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.
Mr. Mancuso died Friday, January 31, 2003 at Lake Hospital Systems in Painesville.
He was born December 29, 1932 in Cleveland, he had lived in Wickliffe for 38 years before moving to Concord Twp. in 1996.
Mr. Mancuso was a teacher at Euclid Shore Jr. High and Euclid High School where he taught from 1957 until his retirement in 1985. He served on the Wickliffe Board of Education from 1969-1990; received his bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University in 1957 and his masters degree from John Carroll University in 1962.
A member of St. Gabriel Church in Concord Twp.; he enjoyed watching movies, history, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Rosalie of 46 years; son Ken (Kathy) Mancuso of Concord; grandchildren Marina and Alissa Mancuso; sister Celeste (Anthony) Provenzale of Bedford Hts.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Frank and Sam Mancuso; sister Mary Menozzi; parents Salvatore and Margaret Mancuso.
Family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

Elvira "Sis" Muster, 92, of Mentor for the past 70 years, died Aug. 28, 2011, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born June 14, 1919, in Euclid.
Mrs. Muster had retired as an inspector from Fluid Control in Mentor.
She loved making ceramics, playing bingo, traveling and spending time with her family. She was one of the kindest, most caring ladies and she loved to hug everyone.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Thomas Rice; sister-in-law, Frances Rauth; grandchildren, Mike (Cindy) Rice, Lori Sickles, Scott (Lisa) Rice, Angela (Lee) Harris, Heather Byrd, and Samantha (Larry) Clement; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughter, Carol Rice; son, Tim Muster; daughter-in-law, Robin Muster; parents, Jacob and Freida Rauth; and six brothers.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Memorial service for Richard Webb Young, age 81, of Mentor, formerly of Lakewood will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at St. Paul’s Church, 2747 Fairmount Blvd, Cleveland Heights, OH.
Mr. Young died Monday at Mentor Way Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Mentor, OH. He was born March 27, 1927 in Altoona, PA to the late Hobart H. & Nelle Young. He served in the US Army during WWII.
Mr. Young was formerly employed at IBM/SBC, Reynolds & Reynolds, Bernard Haldane, Dillard’s & worked security at Cleveland Stadium. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He is survived by 3 sons: Robert Young of Columbus, David Young of Mentor-on-the-Lake & Roger (Stacie) Young of Richmond, VA; brothers of Philip H. (Betty Jean) Young of San Rafael, CA & Roger S. Young of San Diego, CA. He is preceded in death by a brother Robert A. Young and his former wife Barbara Young.
Friends may call from 3:00 PM Wednesday until time of service at the church.
