Attended the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon Enjoyed flower gardening, feeding hummingbirds and hooking rugs. She donated a number of acres with a lake to the Geauga Co. Park District to establish the Walter C. Best Wildlife Preserve.
Mrs. Best is survived by her daughter: Sandra Best (Cliff) Davis of Munson Twp., OH;
Son: Robert W. (Betsy) Best of Munson Twp., OH;
Granddaughter: Vicki (Tom) Elesh of Huntsburg Twp., OH;
Grandson: Mark Davis of Warren, OH;
2 Great-grandsons: Tommy Elesh, John Davis;
2 Great-granddaughters: Ashley Elesh, Tracye Davis;
Brother: Edwin Jirouch MD of Ridgeway, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter C. Best
Parents: Anton and Bertha (Nee: Klipec) Jirouch;
2 Sisters: Elta Vohnout, Ethel Soukup

Doris A. (McDaniel) Narusch
Born: 1/29/1931
Died: 5/9/2003
Services will be held at: Tuesday, May 13, 10:00 AM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500' south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH
Visitation times are: Monday, 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Funeral Home
Electronics Assembler for API/LFE Corp. in Chester Twp. for more that 30 years, retiring in 1990. Doris Ann McDaniel married Michael J. Narusch, Sr., September 25, 1948 in Chardon, OH.
He preceded her in death 2/29/1988;
Sons: Michael J. (Kathleen) Narusch, Jr. of Shelby Twp., MI, Jeffrey (Ernestine) Narusch of Mentor, OH;
Grandchildren: Michael J. Narusch III, Eric Narusch, Amy Berent and Jennifer Narusch;
Great Grandchildren: Salvatore, Maya, Ethan and Matthew;
Sister: Addalu Tuttle of Lantana, FL

Jean Dublon Roskoph
Born: 12/8/1906
Died: 4/29/2003
Services will be held at: Memorial service Sunday, May 18 at 1100 AM at the Burr Funeral Home.
Visitation times are: Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mrs. Roskoph enjoyed doing the Plain Dealer cross word puzzle, reading, especially the Encyclopedia or anything dealing with history, and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters: Barbara (Michael) Plishka of Hambden Twp., OH, Sharon (Thomas) Schonauer of Lexington, OH
Daughter-in-law: Barbara R. Roskoph of Mentor, OH
Grandchildren: Catherine (Sean) Maher of Galena, OH, Candace (Eric) Bramson, MD of Ann Arbor, MI, Monica (Mjr. Michael) Derosier of Colorado Springs, CO.
Great-grandchildren: Owen Michael Maher, Eric Thomas & Mark Russell Maher
She is predeceased by her husband: Milton Roskoph

David Vern Parsh
Born: 3/31/1943
Died: 5/19/2003
Services will be held at: Mass will be held at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon Thurs., May 22 at 10:00 AM
Visitation times are: Wednesday, May 21 2-4:00 and 6-9:00 PM.
Mr. Parsh was a veteran of US Navy, serving during the Cuban Missle Crisis on the USS Enterprise at Guantanomo Bay, Cuba. He was an active member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon, being an usher and eucharistic minister. He was also active with the RCIA at St. Mary's Mr. Parsh enjoyed helping various churches with their fund-raising activities Avid Cleveland Browns fan, season ticket holder since he was 18 years of age. Also enjoyed the outdoors, taking his family camping, fishing and hunting.
Graduate of Rhodes High School, Class of 1960.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon E. Parsh of Chardon, OH
2 Sons: David Thomas (Ann-Marie) Parsh of Lakewood, OH, Daniel Francis (Jennifer) Parsh of Willoughby, OH
6 Grandchildren: Michael Emery, Alexandra, Michael Edward, James, Gary, and Edward.
1 Sister: Cheryl Scacco.

Andrew Fedorchak

Services will be held at: Monday, May 12, 2003, at Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH
Visitation times are: Sunday, May 11 at the Funeral Home, 2-5:00 PM
Member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon, OH Took pride in his family, house and yard.
He is survived by his wife: Anne of Munson Twp., OH

David Sanborn
A Mass of Christian Burial for David Sanborn, age 51, of Chardon, will take place at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 16th, 2010, at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, in Chardon with Fr. Tom Gilles officiating. Dave passed away September 13, 2010. He was born May 12, 1959 in Painesville, Ohio. Dave attended grade school at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Chardon and then Chardon High School, graduating with the class of 1978. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles of Chardon, a past member of the Chardon Jaycees and had been involved with scouting for many years. Dave was a true outdoorsman, and was a member of Windrush Hollow Campgrounds in Huntsburg. Dave worked as Manager of Alvord’s Yard and Garden in Chardon where he was employed for more than 17 years. Survivors are his Mother, Jean Sanborn (nee Przeracki), his son, Kevin Sanborn, his siblings: Joan Sanborn (Jim Brown), Fran (Tony) Bozeglav, Sue (Terry) Johnson, Joe Sanborn, Nancy Sanborn, Mary (Ed) Slish, Bob (Sarah) Sanborn and Jeanie (Rob) Kessinger, 14 nieces and nephews and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Sanborn and Grandparents: Walter and Anna Przeracki, Mildred Valentine Fuller and Kenneth Sanborn. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Private family burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested and can be made at the funeral home.

Raymond Keith Wantz
Raymond Keith Wantz, age 32, of Novelty passed away Friday, August 20th. He was born February 4, 1978 in Cleveland and attended West Geauga Schools. Survivors include his Father, Ray (Joie) Wantz of Montville, his sister Jodi (Mike) Puskar of Concord, North Carolina, his children Morgan and Dylan, nieces; Ashley, Meghan and Natalie and his nephew Mikey. He was preceded in death by his Mother Shelby Wantz (McDowell). Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24th, at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Chagrin Falls.
