Robert R. "Bob" Mead
Born: March 28, 1951
Died: October 03, 2004
Services: Funeral Mass Friday, 10/8 at 11:00 AM St. Helen's Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, (St. Rt. 87 1 mile west of St Rt. 44) Newbury Twp.
Visitation: Thursday evening 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Mead was the Chief Financial Officer for Heinen s Food Stores in Cleveland for 1 year, previously being the CFO for Things Remembered in Cleveland for 7 years.

He was a graduate of Kenston High School, Bainbridge Twp., received his BS degree from Cleveland State University and Masters Degree from Kent State.

Mr. Mead's greatest joy was spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.

He also enjoyed playing guitar, gardening and was an avid Browns fan.

Survivors include his wife Carol (nee: Hrvatin) Mead of Munson Twp., daughter Jill (Chad) Faber of Willoughby, son Steve (Florencia) Mead of Washington, DC, grandchildren Ellie and Ethan Faber, father Robert Mead of Michigan, sisters Marti Macko and Chris Johnson of Hudson, Irene (Tom) Mead-Broadbent, Anne Mead and Beth (Mark) Seacord all of Michigan and brother Bill (Linda) Mead of Cincinnati.

His mother Marian (nee: Eister) Mead is deceased.

Carl J. Castrovinci
Born: April 10, 1915
Died: May 14, 2004
Services: FUNERAL MASS Monday, May 17 at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon.
Visitation: Sunday, May 16, 4-8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on St. Rt. 44, 500 south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon.

Mr. Castrovinci was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the pros.

He and his late wife enjoyed traveling throughout the world.

He is survived by his daughters Gloria (Joseph) Mondello and Lois (Donald) Eberwein, son William C. (Jo-Elaine) Castrovinci, grandchildren Gina Marie (Gary) McKee, Marci Ann (Bob) Mondello-Bulman, Gerald (Judy) Flanik, Alan (Irene) Flanik, Christopher Flanik, Anthony, Jeanine and Robert Castrovinci and Christy (Gene) Shrum, great grandchildren Keith, Chad, Grant, Jehrin, Brittani, Julie, Bailey and Brandon and special cousins Joe and Nicky Salemi.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary L. (Quattrochi) Castrovinci, parents Biagio and Calogera (nee: Lupica) Castrovinci and brother Anthony B. Castrovinci.

Helen L. Helser

Died: 1/12/2002
Services will be held at: Memorial Service, Monday, January 14, at 11:30 AM at the Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 South Hambden St. (SE corner of Chardon Square, Intersection of Rt. 44 and Rt. 6) Chardon, OH
Visitation times are: Family will receive friends following the service.

He preceded in death on December 30, 1983.

Faithful member of the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon for over 50 years.

She had been active as a Sunday School teacher and in the Pilgrim Guild.

Member of the Progress Research Club in Chardon and the Geauga County Republican Women.

She enjoyed reading and floral gardening.
