Yvonne Beckwith
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - Yvonne Beckwith, 68, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, in Michigan City, Ind.
She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Clare and Isabelle (Kahler) Beckwith.
She graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in fine arts. She worked for New Standard Education in Chicago as the art director, and at Long Beach Realty as a real estate sales associate.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie D. Johnston of Michigan City, Ind., whom she married Feb. 28, 1997; a son, Anthony Hobart of Windfield, Ill.; and a grandson, James Farabi.
Service will be Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Ind. Cremation will take place and the ashes interred privately.
There will be no visitation.

Nellie F. Givens
Funeral services for Nellie F. Givens, 92, of Kirtland, a homemaker, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Mrs. Givens died Aug. 16, 2003 at Jefferson Geriatric Center in Jefferson.
Born Aug. 6, 1911 in Belmont County, she lived in Kirtland for 47 years before moving to Jefferson 4 years ago.
She was a member of Community of Christ, Kirtland Congregation and loved gardening and cooking.
Survivors are her daughters Deannette Harvey of Jefferson and Jeannette (John) PaIsa of Hudson; grandsons, Danal Harvey of Willoughby and Keith (Carrie) Harvey of Kirtland; and great-grandchildren, Amber and Travis.
Her husband of 49 years, Luther Dean Givens died in 1997.
Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Elder Steven E. Davidson, of Community of Christ, Kirtland Congregation will officiate at the service. Burial will be in South Kirtland Cemetery.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, 44060.

Jiles M. Knudsen
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP - Jiles M. Knudsen, 82, a resident of Plymouth Township, died at her home on Monday, June 16, 2003.
Born August 10, 1920, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Wilson) Stief.
A graduate of Harbor High School in 1938, she was a Ward Clerk for Ashtabula General Hospital.
Survivors include sons, Frank Knudsen of Ashtabula, and Francis Knudsen of FL; a daughter, Suan Zannelli of Ashtabula; a brother, Robert Stief of FL; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; brothers, Henry, Eugene, and Frank; and sisters, Mercedes Cobb, Emma Sasso, and Sara Crytzer.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 19, at the Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St. in Ashtabula, with burial to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 19, from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Donations may be made to Hospice of Ashtabula County.

Marian E. Olive
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Marian E. Hardy Heater Olive, 60, formerly of Geneva, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in Louisville, Ky.
She was born Dec. 7, 1941, in Fairmont, W.Va., to Marion Edward and Alma Isabel (Toothman) Rutherford.
Mrs. Olive was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Fern Creek, Ky., and a volunteer for the Kentucky Organ Donors Association.
She enjoyed ceramics, spending time with her grandchildren and square dancing with Jefferson and Shawnee Squares.
Survivors include husband Bud; children Thomas S. Hardy of Cloverdale, Va.; Robert L. Hardy Jr. of Windsor Township; Michele "Michi" Gray of Pacific Beach, Calif., and Kevin A. Hardy of Parma; 11 grandchildren; brothers Charles E. Rutherford of Jefferson and Russell S. Rutherford of Akron; and sisters Beverly A. Demeter of Colorado, Rebecca S. Rutherford of Madison, and Susan L. Isley of Barberton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2929 Carpenter Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. John Jones officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Ky., is handling arrangements.

Milton A. Miller
PORT CLINTON - Milton A. Miller, 84, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in Port Orange, Fla.
He was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Port Clinton, to Bertha Pussehl and Herman Miller.
He married Lillian Diehlman June 29, 1940, in Louisville, Ky.
Mr. Miller was a grinder at TRW, retiring in 1980.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2243 in Geneva. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time at the dog track in Florida.
Survivors include daughters Pat Marsch of Chicago, Ill., Sharon Day of Port Orange, Fla., Jean Sansalone of Center Point, W.Va., Wendy Ellicott of Danford, Ky., Deb Miller of Lakewood, Sandy Stancliff of Geneva and Lisa Warner of Geneva; sons Michael Miller of Ashtabula, Robert Miller of Thompson and Ted Miller of Diamond; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers and one sister, and granddaughter Jamie Stancliff.
Graveside services will take place at a later date, in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements handled by Behm Family Funeral Homes, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva.

Chester English Jr.
LAKIN, W.Va. - Chester English Jr., 57, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at the Lakin Hospital Nursing Home in Lakin W.Va.
He was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Erie Pa., son of Chester Sr. and Ernestine (Krautter) English. He is a former Albion, Pa. resident.
Mr. English became disabled at the age of 21 by numerous vehicular accidents. Previously, he worked on area gas wells. His favorite pasttime was fishing.
Survivors include son Paul Gene English of East Springfield, Pa.; daughter Tammy Lyn Avis of Doddridge, Ark.; sisters Joann Seppi of East Springfield, Pa. and Dorothea Aldrich of Conneaut; brother Carl English of Albion, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eugene Montgomery.
Funeral was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Lakin Hospital Nursing Home in West Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakin Hospital Nursing Home, 1 Bateman Circle, Lakin, W.Va. 25287.

Marian Williams Reitz
DELAWARE - Marian (Pappe) Williams Reitz, 85, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.
She was born July 31, 1917.
Mrs. Reitz was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Delaware and Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was a member of the Women's City Club, the Garden Club and Antique Auto Club in Delaware. She was involved with the Andrews House and Americare, both in Delaware, and was a patron of the Delaware Humane Society and Delaware Library. She was also on the board of directors for Camp Cedar in Delaware.
She was also a member of the Stamp and Coin Club, and AARP board in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was a patron of the symphony series and Humane Society in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Mrs. Reitz was a humanitarian, teacher, writer and poet.

Survivors include daughters Michelle Dietrick and husband Frank, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and Robyn Ambrose and husband John, of Jefferson, Ohio; daughter-in-law Kathryn Williams of Madison, Ind.; grandchildren John P. Ambrose and wife Tomi, Kellie Chambers, John R. Leone and wife Michelle, A.J. Leone and wife Bobbie, Gina Edwards and husband Eric, Sterling A. Williams, Mellynda Williams and Lauren Williams; great-grandchildren Dominic and Anthony Leone, Ronald and Jonathon Chambers, Bryn Toyama, and Andrew and Michelle P. Edwards; dear companion Buddy, the cat; and dear care givers Patt and Ted Breece, Julie and Steve Thompson, Paula Shade and Ann Wynn.
She was preceded in death by husbands Robert S. Williams and Elmer A. Reitz, and son Theodore M. Williams.
Memorial service is 7 p.m. Friday at the Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home­ - Delaware, 92 N. Sandusky St., Delaware, 43015. Burial will be at a later date at Grandview Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Ind.
Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Marian W. Reitz Memorial Reading Room Fund, in care of Compass Bank, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
