Mrs. Helen Mae Stephenson

Mrs. Helen Mae Stephenson, age 94 of Russellville, Ohio died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Stephenson was a retired accounting clerk for the Brown County General Hospital, a member of the Russellville Church of Christ and the Russellville Order of the Eastern Star. She was born on February 10, 1910 in Higginsport, Ohio the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie (Scott) Stout. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don W. (Brownie) Stephenson, four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Stephenson is survived by two sons - Greg Stephenson and wife Beverly of Russellville, Ohio and Donald A. Stephenson and wife Fran of Akron, Ohio; one daughter - Melinda Allen and husband Lowell of Russellville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Don Young will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Russellville Church of Christ, US Route 62, Russellville, Ohio 45168.

John Russell Galletly

John Russell Galletly, age 70 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, March 19, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Galletly was a land surveyor and served in the British Army with the Royal Engineers. He was born on April 29, 1933 in Edinburgh, Scotland the son of the late John and Sarah Ann (Fox) Galletly. He was also preceded in death by one child.

Mr. Galletly is survived by his wife - Oletta Jones-Galletly; eight children; three brothers - Ronald, Robert and Edgar Galletly all of Scotland and three sisters - Jean Olsen of Spain and Eileen McQueen and Ann Tems both of Scotland.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bill Kirby will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 P.M. Tuesday. Cremation will follow the services. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart or American Cancer Societies.

Marion Campbell

Marion L. Campbell, age 78, of Lake Waynoka, Ohio died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Campbell was a facilities engineer for NCR for 38 years. He was also a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Winchester, Ohio, the Carey-Bavis American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio, the Free & Accepted Masons, the Ohio Highway Patrol Auxiliary for 43 years, the Engineers Society in Dayton, Ohio and was on numerous boards in Lake Waynoka. He was born in Russellville, Ohio on April 20, 1925 the son of the late George and Esther (Brown) Campbell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers - George Ray Campbell and infant, Donald Campbell and two sisters - Mary Lou Middleton and Jane Dunn.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Betty (Owens) Campbell; one son - Steve Campbell and wife, Chris, of Cherry Fork, Ohio; one grandson - Kelly Campbell and one granddaughter - Katie Campbell.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family on Saturday, March 13, 2004. Rev. Dan Harrison will officiate. Interment was in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio with military services by the Carey-Bavis Post #180 American Legion. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1540 Tri-county Hwy., Winchester, Ohio 45697 or the American Heart Association.

Franklin Eugene Mills

Franklin E. Mills, age 77 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Community Hospital of New Port Richey in New Port Richey, Florida. Mr. Mills was a farmer, builder and a member of the Arnheim Peace Lutheran Church. He was born on November 21, 1926 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Edward and Nellie (Berz) Mills.

Mr. Mills is survived by his wife - Phyllis (Fley) Mills; two sons - Michael E. Mills and wife Bernice of Georgetown, Ohio and Robert J. Mills and wife Sharon of Felicity, Ohio; one daughter - Cheryl A. Phillips and husband Bruce of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great grandson and one brother - Harold Mills of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Eldon Howard will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church, 10581 Dayhill-Arnheim Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121, the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.

Mrs. Mary V. Cluxton

Mrs. Mary Cluxton, age 91, of Russellville, Ohio died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Cluxton was a homemaker. She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 19, 1913 the daughter of the late Frank and Dora (Baldridge) Workman. She was married to Samuel Page Cluxton on November 18, 1935, who preceded her in death in 1979.

Mrs. Cluxton is survived by six children - Earl and Marilyn Cluxton of Summerfield, Florida; Rose and Jim Tolle of Peebles, Ohio; Emma Barnes of Hamilton, Ohio; Samuel Jr. and Ina Claxton of West Union, Ohio; Blanche and Raymond Ingram of Georgetown, Ohio and Clyde Cluxton with whom she made her home. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the Georgetown United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Revs. Steve Bankhead and Bill Krody will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 P.M. Saturday evening at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio.

Earl W. Rackliff

Earl William Rackliff, age 85, of Hamersville, Ohio died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Rackliff was a retired teacher, a member of the Hamersville Church of Christ, American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio, the Brown County Retired Teachers Association and the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. He was born in South Thomaston, Maine on September 22, 1918 the son of the late Scott and Ada (Thompson) Rackliff. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Esther (Kirk) Rackliff; three brothers - Charles, Carroll and Ernest Rackliff and one sister, Connie Menges.

Mr. Rackliff is survived by his second wife, Grace Rackliff of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two sons - Kenneth Rackliff and wife, Betty of Dayton, Ohio and Dennis Rackliff and wife, Michele of Titusville, Florida; one daughter, Vickie Walters and husband, Lee of Hamersville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 sisters - Dorothy Lortie of Hingham, Massachusetts and Alice Stickney of Plymouth, New Hampshire.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 6, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Thomas Friskney will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Friday evening. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Vista Care Hospice or the Hamersville Church of Christ.

Raymond (R.C.) Campbell

Raymond Colvin (R.C.) Campbell, age 82, of Georgetown, Ohio was born October 10, 1921 in Bracken County, Kentucky and entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2004 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was the oldest of eight children born to Leslie A. and Emma Jane (Messersmith) Campbell.

R.C. as he is affectionately known was an area farmer for most of his life and a World War II Army veteran. In 1948, he married Betty Ann High and to this union were born Patricia Kay and Peggy Jo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leland and one sister Ruth.

R.C. is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Ann (High) Campbell; two daughters - Patricia Kay Miller and husband, Albert D. and Peggy Jo Watson and husband, James all of Georgetown, Ohio; six grandchildren - Tammie Keller, Ann Hamilton, Tom Kellum, Erik Hamilton, Heather Miller and Allison Miller; one great grandson, Corey J. Keller; two great granddaughters - Karlie A. Doyle and Payton J. Puckett; two brothers - Kenneth Campbell of Amelia, Ohio and Danny Campbell of Franklin, Massachusetts; three sisters - Evelyn Gifford of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Hildreth Record of Amelia, Ohio and Dorothy Browning of St. Louis, Missouri; two aunts - Katherine and Frances and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Revs. Bill Kirby and Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Wednesday evening. Interment will be in Shinkles Ridge Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home or the V.F.W.

Mrs. Florence Faul

Mrs. Florence Helen Faul, age 95, of Russellville, Ohio died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Faul was a nurse at the Brown County General Hospital and also County Nurse for several years. She was a member of the Russellville Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Russellville, Ohio. She was born in Brown County, Ohio on November 2, 1908 the daughter of the late Jacob and Chestina (Brown) Weimer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daryl E. Faul in 1990 and one half brother, Manuel Sears.

Mrs. Faul is survived by two daughters - Joan Colliver and husband, Charles of Columbus, Ohio and Margaret Marshall and husband, Philip of Russellville, Ohio and one half brother, Robert Sears of West Union, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Ron Moffett will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:30 P.M. Wednesday with Eastern Star services at 1:15 P.M. Interment will be in Ash Ridge Cemetery in Ash Ridge, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ohio Valley Manor Activities Fund.
