CYRIL ‘CY’ R. COOK
The funeral for Cyril “Cy” R. Cook, 87, of Pratt, Kan., will be 10 a.m Tuesday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. The Rev. Dan Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be 2 p.m. in Driftwood Cemetery, Drift-wood, with Elks Lodge honors. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1920, in Driftwood to J. H. and Mayme R. Graham Cook and died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II in Okinawa and Guam. He married Elva Babe Hamilton Jan. 2, 1942, at San Diego. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, BPOE Lodge 1451, VFW and American Legion, all of Pratt, and Masonic Lodge in Oklahoma. He was employed by Lockwood Co., Atchison, Kan.
Surviving are his wife, Babe Cook; one son, J.C. Cook, of Louisville, Colo.; one daughter, Janet S. Crabill of Lawrence, Kan; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one grandson.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to KETCH.

RAYMOND LEE CHALOUPEK
Raymond Lee Chaloupek, 78, a resident of Canton, departed this world on Friday, January 4th at the Fairview Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Raymond was born on March 3, 1929, to Joe and Rosa Chaloupek at the family home west of Fairview. He was the eighth of ten children. He attended school in Longdale and other Blaine and Major County rural schools and entered the Army in the early 1950’s. After serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict and being honorably discharged, he returned to Oklahoma where he married Ella Mae Johnson on December 21, 1951. They raised two children. He worked many years as a heavy equipment mechanic in Kansas, Oklahoma, & Colorado on major water construction projects and completed his working career as a dozer operator for Cunningham Brothers and later Lowell “Bud” Cunningham Dirtwork of Fairview. He retired in 1994 after completing 27 years working in the dozer business. He was baptized in 1993, and was a member of the Longdale Community Church. He was an active member of the Fairview VFW Post for a number of years.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and five brothers.
The highlight of his life was becoming a grandfather in 1996, and he is survived by his grandson, Dillon Chaloupek; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debbie Chaloupek, of Canton; a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Kennie Martin, of Okmulgee; and his step-grandson, Dusty Meyer and Dusty’s son Bradly, of Okalhoma City. He is also survived by a brother Clyde Chaloupek and his wife Violet, of Canton; a brother, Larry Chaloupek and his wife Pat, of Cherryvale, Kansas; a sister, Dorothy Wichert, of Fairview; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives; and his very special longtime friend, Betty Snyder, of Fairview. Raymond leaves behind numerous dear friends that were a part of his life for many years.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Longdale Community Church and the Canton Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Canton with Steve Driskill and Ray Schoonmaker officiating. Interment will be in the Cherryvale Cemetery, east of Canton, OK under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.

HAILEE MARIE FLEMING
The funeral for Hailee Marie Fleming, infant, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vassar Full Gospel Worship Center, Mulhall. Ralph Yost, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Mulhall. Arrange-ments are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
She was born and died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, to Joel M. Fleming and Rachael J. Burgess.
Surviving are her parents, Joel and Rachael, both of Mulhall; two sisters, Isis Renee Stone of Guthrie and Alyssa Elaine Fleming of Warrenton, Ore.; grandparents, Kristy Renee Burgess of Marietta and Jackie Dwayne Hawkins, both of Oklahoma City, and Theresa Marie Flemin of Astoria, Ore.; great-grandfather, J.H. Fleming of Stillwater; and great-grandmother Delcy M. Burgess, of Mulhall.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077 to American Cancer Society.

JESSICA ANN RAPER
No service is planned for Jessica Ann Raper, of Albuquer-que, N.M., formerly of Enid.
She died Jan. 3, 2008, in Albuquerque.
Surviving are her husband, John Raper; one daughter, Jennifer Raper; one son, Justin Raper; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Memorials may be made to New Mexico Roadrunner Food Bank, 2645 Baylor Drive SE, Albuquerque, N.M. 87106 or New Mexico Animal Humane Association, 615, Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, N.M. 87108.

RAYMOND L. CHALOUPEK
The funeral for Raymond L. Chaloupek, 78, of Canton, will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Canton. Steve Driskill and Ray Schoonmaker will officiate. Burial will be in Cherryvale Cemetery, Cherry-vale, Kan. Arrangements are by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

ROSIE NELL DERR BENZ
The funeral for Rosie Nell Derr Benz, 59, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Abernathy Aaron Funeral Chapel, Crescent.
She was born Jan. 23, 1948, to William and Dona Beal Derr and died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, in Enid.
She graduated from Yale High School in 1966. She married Johney Benz May 25, 1968. She was a member of Rebekkah Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, Johney, of the home; four daughters, Janice Rushing of Free-mont, Neb., Shirley Risenhoov-er of Oklahoma City, Marilyn Gatlin of Durant and Dorothy Crowder of Greenwood, Ark; one brother, Raymond Derr, of Beaver Creek, Ohio; seven sisters, Mary Hinshaw and Fern Dennis, both of Drumright, Jes-sie Castleberry of Perkins, Dora Covey of Oklahoma City, Alice Scolten of Denver, Anna Elyof Stillwater and Susie Moor of Perkins; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

NELLIE IRENE JONES BROWN
A private graveside service for Nellie Irene Jones Brown, 97, was held in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements were by Henning-er-Allen Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 21, 1910, in Enid to Edward and Fannie Eleanor Lambert Jones and died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Sheridan Manor, Sheridan, Wyo.
She graduated from Enid High School and worked at Newman’s several years. She married Hadley Herbert Brown Sept. 30, 1933. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Marcia Toepp of Bandera, Texas, Lynne Happy of Polson, Mont., and Mary Childs of Alberton, Mont.; one son, Terry Brow of Bend, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hadley, one son, four brothers and one sister.

GARY RAY REED
The funeral for Gary Ray Reed, 66, of Woodward, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Woodward.
He was born July 29, 1941, in Ponca City to Glenn Theron and Maxine Lukens Reed and died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008.
He graduated from Beaver High School in 1960 and attended college at Northern Okla-homa College in Tonkawa while working at First National Bank. He spent his early years in southern California and returned to Oklahoma living in Beaver, Elmwood and Woodward.
Surviving is one sister, Jackie Skinfill, of Spokane, Wash.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

ERNIE G. LEBEDA
The funeral for Ernie G. Lebeda, 75, of Renfrow, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Central Christian Church, Caldwell, Kan. Burial will be in Caldwell City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home and Crematory, Caldwell. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Lois, of Medford, Kan.; three daughters, Debra Blythe, and Julie Meyer, both of Broken Arrow, and Brenda Almond, of Renfrow; two sons, Mike Lebeda and Brad Lebeda, both of Renfrow; three sisters, Eileen Ward of Wellington, Kan., Mary Jane Garis of Bothell, Wash., and Glady Tomlin of Renfrow; one brother, Vernie Lebeda of Medford; and 12 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, Caldwell, or Ernie Lebeda memorial fund for Caldwell schools.

GRADY LEON JARVIS
The funeral for Grady Leon Jarvis, 74, of Stilwell will be 1 p.m. today in Pleasant View Church of Christ. Gerald Buckner will officiate. Burial will be in Ewing Chapel Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Rob-erts/ Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
He was born Feb. 10, 1933, in Atoka to Walter Lee and Laura Elizabeth Wright Jarvis and died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in Tulsa.
He worked as a pipeline worker for Transok Pipeline Co., Tulsa. He and his wife, Nadine, owned and operated G & N Drive In in Hennessey for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Nadine, of Stilwell; eight children, Rick Jarvis and Ronnie Jarvis, both of Blackwell, Linda Jarvis of Enid, Grady Jarvis of Tonkawa, Terry Drake of Lahoma, Diana Caddick of Stilwell, Lee Filsmyer of Tulsa and Eric Jarvis of Stilwell; five brothers and sisters, Elmer Jarvis of Walters, Eldon Jarvis of Okmulgee, Gene Robblin of Hillard, Fla., John Jarvis of Carnegie and Liz Jennings of Lawton; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

NORMA J. DAUGHERITY
The funeral for Norma J. Dougherity, 59, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Missionary Baptist Church. Alfred Baldwin Jr., pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Russ-worm Funeral Home, Enid.
She was born Jan. 4, 1949, in Enid to Wynola Lynn Davis and died Tues-day, Jan. 15, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She graduated from Enid High School and grew up with her sister. She was a member of First Baptist Church, served in the choir, Sunday school and BTU. She later became a member of New Light Baptist Church, where she served as the mission president. She then returned to First Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the mission department, provided memorial services for Home Coming programs, served as devotional chairperson for WMU, and intercessory prayer. She led the intecessory prayer groups among the churches and the community at large.
Surviving are her husband, James Dougherity, of Phoenix; her children, Wynola Davis, Patrick Davis and James Earl Wilson Jr., all of Enid; one sister, Patricia Prince of Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wynola Lynn Davis.

DAVID RAYMOND
A memorial service for David Raymond, 52, of Longdale will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Fairview. Father Michael Ngyen will officiate. He was cremated at his re-quest. Arrange-ments are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
He was born June 13, 1955, in Hartford, Conn. to Herbert David Raymond Sr. and Hazel Fulsom Raymond and died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid.
He graduated from high school in Manchester, Conn., and attended several college classes. He married Penny Crawford. He later married Joanne. He then married Patricia Barbato Sept. 12, 1992, in Brimfield, Mass. They moved to Oklahoma in 1994. He worked as a promotion specialist for Mobile Marketing and was a transportation driver for a NASCAR team. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Fairview.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia of Longdale; his mother, Hazel Raymond and stepfather, Rigo Bianchi of Ellington, Conn.; three sons, Jason Ruchti of Mapleton, Iowa, and Kyle Raymond and Joshua Raymond, both of Florida; one daughter, Tara Davis of Onawa, Iowa; four sisters, Sally Grant of Welling-ton, Conn., Linda Manning of South Windsor, Conn., Dorothy Dellarippa of Rockville, Conn., and Carol Brennan, of Vernon, Conn; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert David Raymond Sr.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
