Kathryn Satterfield

Kathryn Satterfield, 84, of Spiro, died December 9th, 2004 in Spiro.

She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by her husband Gene of the Home, two daughters Virginia Miller of Spiro and Kathey Satterfield of Spiro; three sons, Charles Russell of San Diego, CA; Wayne Satterfield of Wrightwood, CA; and Teddy Satterfield of Spiro; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 13, 2004 at 12:00 noon in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial to follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.

Carla Lindsey

Carla Lindsey, 36, of Arkoma died Monday, April 1, 2002.

She was employed at Mr. Rob’s Cleaners and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include three sons, Brandon Willet, Joseph Lindsey Jr. and Jonathan Lindsey, all of Arkoma; her father and mother, Luther and Linda Willet of Arkoma; two sisters, Melinda Southall of Arkoma and Patrenia Pound of Fort Smith, AR; two brothers, Dewayne Willet and James Willet, both of Arkoma and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held April 5 at Ocker Memorial Chapel.

Burial was held at Leard Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Roy Jones, Gary Harris, Charles Willet, Darrel Gault, Keven Wheeler and Charlie Freeman.

Cynthia Graves

Cynthia L. Herndon Graves, 33, of Arkoma, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny; a daughter, Rachel Graves; her mother, Edna Melton; two sisters, Edna Miller of Muldrow and Sbyil Warwick of Fort Smith; four half sisters; four brothers, Coyd Welch of Garland, Texas, Jimmy Welch of Arkoma, Gary Don Welch of Muldrow and Calvin Welch of Fort Smith, AR; and a half brother.

Graveside service was held March 12 at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers were James Oliver, William McLane, Bill McLane, Leon Warrick, Trey Cardwell, James Shelly, Darrell Miller and Jimmy Wilcox.

Royal Flurry

Royal Flurry, 57, of Arkoma, died Friday, July 12, 2002.

He was an employee of Whirlpool and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Aurora Hurlocker and Gayla Flurry, both of Fort Smith, AR; a son, Royal D. Flurry of Fort Smith, AR; a sister, Lois Richmond of Van Buren, AR; three brothers, Jamie Flurry and Chuck Franklin, both of California, and Otis Flurry of Roland, AR; and six grandchildren.

Funeral service was held July 17 at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, AR.

Burial was at Gill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lonnie Flurry Jr., Roy Teague, Kevin Flurry, Borisout Chanthakhot, David Thornburg, Eugene Cain, David Horn and Kenny Stormick.

Jack Harrison

Jack Issac Harrison, infant son of Jack and Kara Harrison of Spiro, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, in Tulsa.

Graveside service was held July 16 at Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Brittany and Emerald, both of the home; his grandparents, Hattie and Jack Harrison of Spiro, Jim Wagner of Van Buren, AR and Pat Nunley of Van Buren, AR; and a great-grandmother, Ruth Smith of Fort Smith, AR.

Michael Lasiter

Michael David Lasiter, 52, of Spiro, OK died February 16, 2005 in Fort Smith, AR.

He was a retired Clerk.

He is survived by his wife Deborah of the home, a daughter, Tabitha Nicole Lasiter of the home, a son, David Nicholas Lasiter of the home, his father, Othel Lasiter of Mulberry, AR and three brothers, Wayne and Dennis Lasiter both of Mulberry, AR and Bruce Lasiter of Fort Smith, AR.

He was preceded in death by a son Jody Lasiter and his mother Patsy Lasiter.

There will be a family visitation in the Chapel of Edwards Funeral on Saturday, February 19th from 3-5 P.M.

There will be no formal funeral service.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
