Sam Andrews
Services are pending for Sam Andrews. The Rogan Funeral Home in Hugo is handling the funeral arrangements.

Sam Andrews died Oct. 17, 2002. He was 82.

Pat (Holton) Richards
Services for Pat (Holton) Richards will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel in Hugo. The Rev. Doug McClure will officiate the ceremony. Internment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.

Pat Richards died Oct. 16, 2002 in Hugo. She was 66.

Patricia Ann Richards was born Jan. 25, 1936 in Hugo to Grady and Verda Lee (Rawlinson) Holton. She married Charles W. Richards Nov. 18, 1960 in Hugo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, “Auntie” Mattie Lois Glenn; and two grandsons, Michael Coker and B.J. Richards.

She is survived by two sons, Don Richards of Lake Oswego, Ore. and Sammy Richards of Hugo; two daughters, Dena Southerland of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Dee Ann Kelly of Paris, Texas; one sister, Barbara Wareham of Franklin, La. eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo is handling the funeral arrangements.

Raymond Wayne McMillin
Services for Raymond Wayne McMillin were at 11 a.m. Oct. 5 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
Raymond Wayne McMillin, formerly of Hugo, died Oct. 1, 2002 in Bethany. He was 43.

Raymond was born Aug. 21, 1959 in Hugo to James Richard McMillin and Marsha Jean (Harkins) McMillin.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, one sister, Judy McMillin and one brother, Keith McMillin,

The funeral arrangements were handled by the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.

Christine Margaret Thompson
Services for Christine Margaret Thompson will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Victory Baptist Church in Hugo. The Rev. Mutt Wallace will officiate the ceremony. Internment will follow at Rufe Cemetery in Rufe.

Christine died Oct. 16, 2002 in Hugo. She was 69. Christine was born May 30, 1933 in Rufe to Wilson and Kitty Katherine Caldwell.

She married Joseph E. Thompson Nov. 5, 1948 in Hugo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Austin Caldwell and one son, Eddie Chris Thompson.

She is survived by two sons; Joseph Thompson and Ronnie Thompson of Hugo; two daughters, Geneva Mae Songer and Janice Finch of Hugo; one brother, Zedark Caldwell of Royce City, Texas; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Nora Elva Dickerson
Services for Nora Dickerson will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sobol Baptist Church in Sobol. The Rev. Rick Dominic will officiate the ceremony. Internment will follow at Sobol Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.

Nora Elva Dickerson died Oct. 14, 2002 in Hugo. She was 92.

Nora Dickerson was born on June 3, 1910 in Rufe to Benjamin and Lydia (Carper) Joplin.
She was a member of the Sobol Baptist Church and had lived all of her life in the Sobol community. She was a homemaker and the wife of Roy Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by one son, Alvin Roy Dickerson of Hugo; two daughters, Jewel Nadine Boling of Hugo and Freida maxine Emberton of Oklahoma City; one sister, Hazel Monk of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren.

Lubie Atlas Mitchell
Services for Lubie Atlas Mitchell were at 2 p.m. Oct. 14, 2002 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel in Hugo. The Rev. Jerry Cooper officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.

Lubie Mitchell died Oct. 11, 2002 in Hugo. He was 72.

Lubie Mitchell was born Aug. 16, 1930 in Sawyer to Lev and Margie (Hemby) Mitchell. He married Billie Joan Campbell Sept. 23, 2954 in Hugo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Oscar Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Mitchell of Hugo; one daughter, Victoria Dianne Millhollon; one brother, Lloyd Mitchell; one sister, Ruth Stutts and two grandchildren.
