HELEN HUNTZINGER
Services were held for Helen (Nester) Huntzinger, 80, widow of Cleavis N. Huntzinger, of Big Road, New Hanover, who died Aug. 30 in Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Washington Township, she was employed for 18 years as an inside casket transporter with the former Boyertown Casket Co. She was a member of the New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Liberty Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, New Berlinville, and the New Hanover Township Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Martha (Hollowbush), wife of Keimer Lessig Sr., of Douglassville; two sisters, Mabel, widow of Franklin Derr, of Bechtelsville, and Rebecca, widow of Leon Frey of Boyertown; one brother, Levarn Nester, of Gilbertsville. Also a male companion, Lloyd Renninger, with whom she resided for seven years; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. The L. W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown, handled the arrangements.

RAY E. STUMHOFER
Services were held for Ray E. Stumhofer, 71, of West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, who died Sept. 5 in Pottsville Hospital, where he had been a patient. He was the husband of Nancy C. (Kolbe) Stumhofer. Born in Oley Township, he was employed for 27 years in the hot mill by Carpenter Technology Corp., retiring in 1992. He was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ, Oley. He is also survived by a son, Jason A., West Brunswick Township. Other survivors include two sisters, Arlene (Stumhofer) Youse, Boyertown, and Ruth (Stumhofer) Harpel, Perkiomen-ville. The arrangements were handled by the Daniel R. Christ Funeral Home, Oley.

PAUL L. LEISTER SR.
Services were held for Paul L. Leister Sr., 70, husband of Bertha A. (Haring) Leister, of Earl Road, Earl Township, who died Sept. 4 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Colebrookdale Township, Leister was employed as a quarry foreman at C.S. Garber & Sons Inc., for 36 years until his retirement in 1998. He also worked with his father as a bricklayer for many years. He and his wife had celebrated 52 years of marriage. Leister was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of Christ, Boyertown. He was also a life member of the Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Co., Boyertown, the Liberty Fire Co., New Berlinville, the Pike Township Sportsmens Association, and the Hospitaller’s Relief Association, Reamstown, Lancaster County. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Barbara A., wife of Robert A. Troxel, Reading, and Nancy J. Leister, at home; four sons, Paul L. Leister Jr., Earlville, Gary L. Leister, Oley, Randall A. Leister and Brian K. Leister, both at home. Also five sisters, Vivian, wife of Kenneth Kulp, Boyertown, Nancy, wife of Carl Kulp, Bechtelsville, Pauline, wife of Adam Benfield, Boyertown, Dorothy, wife of Richard Nuss, Bechtelsville, and Elizabeth, wife of Daniel Sweeney, New Berlinville; seven brothers, Carl Leister, Delaware, Rodman Leister, Pennsburg, Charles Leister, Gilbertsville; Dallas Leister, Earlville; Barry Leister, Gilbertsville; Daniel Leister, Sewickley and Kerry Leister, Pottstown; and seven grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 35 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. The arrangements were handled by the L. W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown.

PAUL T. REICHART
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Paul T. "Bolley" Reichart, 80, widower of Dorothy M. (Grim) Reichart, of North Church Street, Bally, who died Sept. 4 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Bally, he was employed as plant manager by Bally Block Co. for 47 years until his retirement in 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II as a private first class. Reichart was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally, where he was a member of the building fund committee. He was a life member of the Bally Fire Co. and the Bally Senior Center and was a Bally Ambulance driver for many years. Surviving are two sons: James P. Reichart of Emmaus, and Stephen R. Reichart of Telford; two daughters, Joan M., wife of William J. Kelsch, of Bally, and Kathleen A., wife of Thomas R. Craver Jr., of Boyertown; one brother, Francis Reichart of Bally; two sisters, Helen, wife of Paul Bauer, of Bally, Bertha Dengler of Bally; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Academy, 7th and Pine streets, Bally, PA 19503. The Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Boyertown, was in charge of the arrangements.

SHEILA R. SCHAEFFER
A memorial service was held for Sheila R. Schaeffer, 47, of Weinsteiger Road, Washington Township, who died Sept. 6 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, where she had been a patient.
She was the wife of Kenneth L. Schaeffer. In August, her and her husband celebrated 32 years of marriage. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Luther Henne, Wyomissing and Shirley M. (Reist) Phillips, and a step-father, Joseph P. Phillips, Gilbertsville. Schaeffer was employed for several years as a receptionist by the Rising Stars Dance Academy, Gilbertsville, last working in 1997. She is also survived by a son, K. Scott, Bethlehem; and two daughters: Tiffany T. (Schaeffer) Meehan, Oceanside, Calif., and Jennifer R. Schaeffer, at home. Other survivors include a sister, Bonita (Henne) Gresh, Boyertown. Contributions may be made to the National Diabetes Association, 2045 West Gate Drive, Suite 302, Bethlehem, Pa. 18017. The arrangements were handled by the C. L. Losh Funeral Home, Boyertown.

CYNTHIA A. FICK
A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Cynthia A. Fick, 49, of Gauby Road, Alsace Township, who died in her residence on Sept. 6. She was the wife of Leroy G. Fick. Born in West Reading, she was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township. She is also survived by a son, Brian L. Fick, at home; a daughter, Michele M. (Fick) Kline, Alsace Township; and a stepson, Scott L. Fick, Greensburg, Westmoreland County. Other survivors include two brothers, Bernard F. and Michael W. Hughes, and two sisters: Kay L. (Hughes) Medlar and Jean E. (Hughes) Fick, all of Alsace Township. There are also a grandchild and two stepgrandchildren. The Daniel R. Christ Funeral Home,Oley, handled the arrangements.

STEPHANIE B. SCHOELLER
A memorial service was held for Stephanie Bryn Schoeller, 32, of Lexington Ave., New York, NY., who died Aug. 20 in the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. She was the daughter of James R. and Gwendolyn (Ott) Schoeller, Wallkill, NY. Schoeller was a 1986 graduate of Wallkill High School; University of Pennsylvania 1990, Bachelor’s degree in history & sociology of Science and earned her master’s degree in public administration from New York Univ. in 1994. She had been employed by South Shore Health System, Valley Stream, NY as a consultant for three years. She had previously worked for Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield in New York from 1990-1996. Schoeller was a member of Wallkill Reformed Church, Wallkill, NY. Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Matthew C. Schoeller, Rye, NY; maternal grandfather, Linwood W. Ott, Boyertown; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Schoeller, Wallkill, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Berks Co. Unit, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa. 19605 or The Wallkill High School, Stephanie B. Schoeller Memorial Scholarship Fund, Wallkill, NY or the Wallkill Reformed Church, Wallkill, NY 12589. The arrangements were handled by the L. W. Ott Funeral Home, Boyertown.

RALPH A. MOYER JR.
Services will be held for Ralph A. Moyer Jr., 68, of 2305 Alsace Road, Alsace Township, who died Sept. 11 in the emergency care unit of Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Betty L (Silfies) Moyer. Born in Reading, Moyer was employed for 42 years as a bus driver by BARTA, retiring in 1997. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Moyer is also survived by three daughters; Michelle R. and Donna and Debbie Moyer, all of Reading. Other survivors include a stepson, Walter Moyer, Reading. Also surviving are two sisters, Jacqueline K. (Moyer) Steinmetz, Birdsboro, and Geraldine E. (Moyer) Millard, Elverson. There are also seven grandcildren. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Sanders Funeral Home, Reading.

ABBIE A. UHL
Services will be held for Abbie A. (Kaufmann) Uhl, 84, of the Montgomery County Geriatric Center, Royersford, formerly of Gravel Pike, Perkiomenville, who died Sept. 11 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, George Uhl, Pennsburg, and Joseph Uhl, East Greenville; a daughter, Abbie, wife of John Wright, Perkiomenville; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Albert and William Uhl; two daughters, Anna May Willing and Thelma Johnson. Also three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Joseph Hyatt, pastor at New Covenant Brethren in Christ Church, Quakertown, will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 75, Pennsburg, PA, or to the American Diabetes Association, 1 Plymouth Meeting, Suite 520, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Burial will be at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery , Pennsburg.
