Richard C. Kline

December 26, 1928 - November 24, 2006

Richard C. Kline, age 77, of Madison Avenue, East Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at 10:15 a.m., while visiting with his family in North Carolina.

Born December 26, 1928 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Ardell and Thelma Crawford Kline, both of Butler.

Mr. Kline was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, where he served as head elder. He retired as a treatment plant operator from the Western Pennsylvania Water Company. He played baseball for the Butler Cubs and was inducted into the Horseshoe Hall of Fame this past September.

Mr. Kline is survived by his wife, Wilma, whom he marriage on July 14, 1948; and eight children, Richard Kline Jr. of Butler, Pennsylvania; Deborah Wienshienk (John) of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Barbara Hankey (Ronald) of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, James Kline (Nancy) of Kabul, Afghanistan, Janet Tarr (Randy) of Charleston, West Virginia, Elaine Kline of San Diego, California, Rebecca Leon (Tony) of Bruin, Pennsylvania, and Daniel Kline (Deanna) of King, North Carolina. Sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive him.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Kline, a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Kline; and a granddaughter, Janelle Kline.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Monday, November 27, 2006 from 7 to 9 and Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Services will be held at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Richard Jenks officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Fared Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.

Cecilia Frances Kaczmarczyk

September 5, 1926 - November 23, 2006

Cecilia Frances Kaczmarczyk, age 80, of Lilac Drive, West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at 7:15 p.m. at her home, surrounded by her family, after an extended illness.

Born September 5, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Anthony and Eva Skomorski Tokarski.

Mrs. Kaczmarczyk was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Kaczmarczyk is survived by two sons and their wives, Peter F. and Marlene Kaczmarczyk, Jr. of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and Gerard W. and Lisa Kaczmarczyk of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Antoinette Kim Kaczmarczyk of Las Vegas, Nevada and Amber Cecilia Kaczmarczyk of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; a sister and her husband, Theresa and James Marchwinski of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Edward and his wife Dorothy Tokarski of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Henry Tokarski of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Vincent and his wife Lori Tokarski of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kaczmarczyk was preceded in death by her husband, Peter F. Kaczmarczyk, whom she marriage on September 28, 1946 and who passed away on August 9, 1993 and also by one sister, Victoria Jaketic and four brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Frank and Anthony Tokarski.

Friends will be received at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State Street, Sharon, Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 26, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Father Howard King, of the Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 396 Buhl Blvd. Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146.

Robert G. Shriver

December 29, 1915 - November 23, 2006

Robert G. Shriver, age 90 of Kennedy Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at 4:07 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.

Born December 29, 1915 in Harmony, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Robert E. Shriver and the late Emma Taylor.

Mr. Shriver was the owner/operator of Shriver Bus Company from 1946-1968. He was a member of North Main Street Church of God. Mr. Shriver served in the U.S. Navy during WW II from 1943 to 1945. He was a graduate of Clarion State Teachers College in 1940, earned his Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1948, and he attended Duquesne University. He was schoolteacher, teaching science and math in Rural Valley, Shaler, and Butler from 1940 to 1954. He was a charter member and past president of the Worthington Lions Club. He was a former board member of the Worthington School District.

Mr. Shriver is survived by two sons, Robert E. Shriver, Kenneth E. Shriver both of Sigel, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, Harvey Shriver of Flagger Beach, Florida.

Mr. Shriver was preceded in death by his wife, Mary S. Shriver and also by one brother.

Services will be private. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Devotion, Butler County Memorial Park.

Hannah Dunkle

August 16, 1920 - November 22, 2006

Hannah Dunkle, age 86 of Bredin Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 3:00 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born August 16, 1920 in Durham, England she was the daughter of the late James Reed and the late Selina Reay.

Mrs. Dunkle was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria for Butler Junior High School retiring in 1980 after 20 years of service. She was protestant by faith and attended Butler High School. Mrs. Dunkle was a member AARP and the Tanglewood 60+. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends and watching Lawrence Welk. She liked Bingo, as much for the camaraderie of her friends, as for the interest in the game itself. Mrs. Dunkle watched many television game shows and was great at crossword puzzles. Her smiles are famous and her kindness touched many.

Mrs. Dunkle is survived by two sons, Robert Paul Dunkle and his wife Elaine of State College, Pennsylvania, Richard John Dunkle of Sarasota, Florida; one sister, Lillian Haley of Butler, Pennsylvania; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Irene Dunkle of Butler, Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Ruth Reed of Lyndora, Pennsylvania, Nancy Dunkle of Butler, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, William Dunkle of Maryland; Three nieces and Two nephews

Mrs. Dunkle was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Dunkle who passed away on May 23, 1966 and also by her son, David, two bothers, Clarence and William and two sisters Lena and Shirley.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Virginia DiTullio lay pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Paul F. Kradel

February 17, 1919 - November 20, 2006

Paul F. Kradel, age 87 of North Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at 5:50 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born February 17, 1919 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Paul Calvin Kradel and the late Frances Jean Canan.

Mr. Kradel was a senior metallurgist for Armco from 1941 and retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mr. Kradel was a member of the Butler Elks Club #170, the Armco Country Club, the Esquire Club and a former member of the Century Club. Mr. Kradel was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army in the European Theater between 1942 and 1946.

Mr. Kradel is survived by his second wife, Donna C. Kradel whom he marriage on September 28, 1985, by two sons, Dr. Paul F. Kradel, Jr. of Sheppardstown, West Virginia, Rodger H. Kradel of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Patricia J. Kradel of Butler, Pennsylvania, Susan M. Kradel of Erie, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step-sons, David C. Miller, II of Long Branch, New Jersey, William H. Miller of Leonardo, New Jersey, Thomas J. Miller of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one sister, Mrs. Sally McConnell of Bradenton, Florida and by a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kradel was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Covert Kradel who passed away on July 1, 1981, and by one sister.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert C. Huber of North Street Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Julianne Marie Ford

November 16, 1967 - November 18, 2006

Julianne Marie Ford, age 39 of Glenn Road, West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 3:26 a.m. in the U.P.M.C. Shadyside Hospital.

Born November 16, 1967 in Elyria, Ohio she was the daughter of the late David R. Smith and the late Dorothy M. Logue.

Mrs. Ford was a legal administration specialist for Operation of Personnel Management Retirement Operation Center. She was a party host for "Stampin' Up", she enjoyed scrapbooking. Mrs. Ford was an active "Mom" and enjoyed camping with her family. She received an Associate in Arts degree from Butler County Community College then transferred to Geneva to earn her BA.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband, James E. Ford whom she marriage on August 27, 1988, one daughter, Cassandra D. Ford and one son, Matthew A. Ford both at home; one sister, Mary Stevenson of Meadville, Pennsylvania; six brothers, William Smith of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Edward Smith of Eau Claire, Pennsylvania, Randal Smith of St. Louis, Missouri, Russell Smith of Meadville, Pennsylvania, Stephen Smith of South Dakota and Thomas Smith of Eau Claire, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Larry Burkholder officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a trust fund is being established for her two children, Cassandra and Matthew at the Farmer's National Bank, Butler Branch, 1101 North Main Street, Butler, Pennsylvania or memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia Chapter, River Walk Corporate Center, 333 East Carson Street, Suite 441, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219.
