Funeral services for Miriam Musselman Lauver, 90, of Mechanicsburg, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
She died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997 at Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born June 12, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Laura Eberly Musselman and the widow of Clarence W. Lauver.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Fairfield, Conn.
She is survived by a son, Robert M. Lauver of Hawley; a daughter, Shirley M. Lauver of Mechanicsburg; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
The Rev. Donald E. Potter will officiate at Friday's services. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Lower Allen Township.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Suite 200, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.

Funeral services for Jean C. Sanderson, 87, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
She died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997 in the Sarah Todd Home, Carlisle.
Born May 21, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Cressler and Ettie Mae Mooney Cressler and the widow of Luther P. Sanderson, who died in 1984.
Mrs. Sanderson retired in 1975 from Carlisle Hospital after 25 years of service as a registered nurse. A 1929 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a 1932 graduate of Harrisburg Hospital training school for nurses, she was a member of the Graduate Nurses Club.
Surviving are a sister, Esther "Bobbie" M. Goodhart of Shippensburg, and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Sharon F. Kelly will officiate at Friday's services. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Township.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle, PA 17013.

Services for George Lester Gayman, 88, of 201 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, formerly of 6002 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997, in Franklin County Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 21, 1909 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Abraham R. Gayman and Anne M. Eckenrode Gayman.
Mr. Gayman was a mechanic with H.J. Heinz Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1974. Before joining Heinz, he was a farmer.
He attended Bethel Assembly of God Church, Chambersburg, and was a member of AARP.
Surviving are his wife, Velva C. Hargleroad Gayman; a son, Ronald D. Gayman of Chambersburg; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Ann Fraker, in October 1993; and by four brothers and one sister.
The Rev. Elmer T. Kipe will officiate at Saturday's services. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services for Lloyd A. Musser, 88, of Upper Allen Township, formerly of Laureldale, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1128 Hampden Blvd., Reading.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Born July 24, 1909 in Reading, the son of the late James and Elizabeth "Heffner" Musser, he was retired from the Reading Eagle Co. and was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown.
He is survived by his wife, Sara O. Musser; two sons, Jan A. of Reading and Steven J. of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Erma Dreisbach of Northampton; three half-sisters, Grayce Seip, LaRue Young and Eleine Updegrove, all of Reading; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Terry E. Zebulske and the Rev. Jansen Hartman will officiate at Tuesday's services. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery, Fleetwood.
Friends may call at Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

Services and burial for Richard W. Roberts, 86, of 820 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, will be at the convenience of his family.
He died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997 at his residence.
Born Dec. 8, 1910 in Columbia, he is the son of the late Steven Roberts and Jane W. Strebig Roberts and the widower of Sara H. Hershey.
A salesman for SICO Oil Co. and Gulf Oil Corp., he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a former member of First Lutheran Church of Columbia.
Mr. Roberts was a member of Euclid Lodge 698 F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine; York County Shrine Club; Legion of Honor; and BPOE Columbia 1074.
He is survived by a cousin, Glenn K. Strebig of Camp Hill.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.

Olive L. Sheats, 87, of Manor Care North, Barley Road, York, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 1997 at Manor Care North.
Born March 17, 1910 in Fulton County, she was a daughter of the late Blaine and Nora Gracey Bergstresser and the widow of Bruce B. Sheats, who died in 1967.
She was a former employee of the Upper Adams School District in the cafeteria for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Biglerville.
Mrs. Sheats is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. May of Red Lion and J. Kay Beidler of Chambersburg; two sisters, Fern Madden of Fayetteville and Maude Newman of Reseda, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main St., Bendersville with the Rev. Joel L. Zeiders officiating.
Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Paul M. Slade, 80, of 12 E. Woodland Dr., Mechanicsburg, died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997 at home.
Born April 13, 1917 in Rochester, N.Y., he was a son of the late Harry S. and Elizabeth K. Millard Slade.
An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Slade was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources. He was a former employee of Slade's Jewelry Store in McKeesport.
He was a member of Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, its men's Bible class and men's Friday Club.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille A. Schmidt Slade; two daughters, D. Jeanne Bruce of Camp Hill and Carole J. Matter of Cullman, Ala.; one brother, William D. of Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Simpson St., with the Revs. Thomas H. Schmid and Donald E. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Township.
Viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 301 Union St., Middletown, Pa. 17057.

Services for Gregory A. Hatfield, 30, of 1312 Mass Ave., Washington, DC., formerly of Cumberland County, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997 at home.
Born June 29, 1967 in Ft. Meade, Md., he was a son of Richard F. and Marion U. Newcomer Hatfield of Conway, S.C.
A 1985 graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Mr. Hatfield was a computer specialist at the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conway, S.C.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his grandparents, Walter E. and Freda E. Hatfield of Barboursville, W.Va. He was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy E. Hatfield, who died in 1990.
The Rev. Patricia A. Woolever will officiate at Wednesday's service. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, Lower Allen Township. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Boiling Springs Band Association, 4 Forge Road, Boiling Springs, Pa. 17007.
