Buel Clyde Cobb
Buel Clyde Cobb, 85, of Point Marion, Pa. died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born on April 27, 1915 in Boggs, W.Va., son of the late Henry and Lula Davis Cobb.
Clyde was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Dilliner, Pa.
He was also a member of the Golden Pointers Senior Citizens Club and enthusiastic member of their dartball team.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Juanita Stone Cobb; one daughter, Janice Korintus and her husband Tim of Point Marion; one son, Kenneth Cobb of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Jason, Steven and Christina.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Casteel; and one brother, Clarence Cobb.
Friends will be received in THE LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Point Marion today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and until Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000 at 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. William L. Parker officiating.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.

Helen N. DuFour
Helen N. DuFour passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2000.
She was the beloved mother of Diane DuFour-Guadio of Beaver, Pa., William DuFour of Long Beach, Calif., Gary DuFour of Steubenville, Ohio, Gregory Dufour of Pittsburgh and Danice Bress of Irwin, Pa.; grandmother of four; sister of Elaine Nesser and the late Naomi McGarvey, Eleanore J. Morrison, Malcolm Nesser, James J. Nesser Jr. and Elizabeth N. John. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Helen was a noted businesswoman and active in many civic and religious organizations.
Funeral from MCCABE BROTHERS INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Pittsburgh on Saturday at 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Paul Cathedral, Pittsburgh at 11 a.m.
Interment at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
Visitation with family will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests remembrances to the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh Foundation, 111 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or the DuFour Family Fund, Jesuit Seminary and Mission Office, 7400 York Road, #401, Baltimore, MD 21204

John Edward Hollis
John Edward Hollis, 50, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000 in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1950 in Mount Pleasant, Pa., son of the late Milton Hollis and Danzy Fullem Hollis and was raised by the late Robert and Eva Firmstone and family: Delores Daugherty, deceased, Charlotte Parfitt of Latrobe, Geraldine Daughenbaugh of Derry, and Arlene Murphy of Latrobe.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hollis; and a sister, Bertha Sirrainni.
He was a former employee of C & C Lumber Company, Tarrs, Pa.
Surviving are his children: Janice Vargo of Uniontown, Crystal Hollis of Connellsville, and Loretta Taylor of Uniontown; brothers, Milton Hollis Jr. of Dunbar, Bill Hollis of Somerset, Eugene Hollis of the state of Maryland, and Sherman Hollis of Everson; a sister, Margaret Pletcher of Scottdale; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000 until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Captain Alma Riley of the Uniontown Salvation Army officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Betty Landman, 406 Hopwood-Coolspring Road, Hopwood PA 15445.

Charles R. Huffman
Charles R. Huffman, 75, of Jefferson R.D. 1, Pa. died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000 in the home of his daughter, Sharon Hamilton.
Mr. Huffman was a retired coal miner from Marianna Mine.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Sharon) Hamilton of Jefferson R.D. 1, with whom he made his home, and Helen S. Durbin of Nemacolin; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several foster children and grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Hunter of Claysville.
At the request of the deceased, viewing and services will be private and will be handled by Behm Funeral Home Inc., Greene St., Jefferson, Pa.

David E. Rutherford
Naval Aircrewman Aviation Machinist Mate 2nd Class David E. Rutherford, U.S. Navy, assigned to Helicopter Squadron HM-15, Corpus Christi, Texas, died on Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at the age of 27, following the crash of a MH53E Mine Counter Measures Sea Dragon Helicopter.
He was born July 6, 1973, in Orange, Va., the son of Debbie Malinsky of Masontown, Pa.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Jennifer Rutherford at home; his grandmother, Jean Malinsky of Masontown; the following aunts and uncles, Joe Malinsky of Wilmington, N.C., Jerry Malinsky and wife, Marsha of Masontown, and Ron Malinsky and wife, Lisa of Alice Springs, Australia; and cousins, Natasha, Sara, Meghan, Jerry, Joey and Danny Malinsky.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Malinsky.
David was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone, Pa., and was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School, Class of 1991.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main St., Masontown, Pa., on today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, until 9:30 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa., where military honors will be accorded by the Navy and Marine Corp Reserve Center, Moundsville, W.Va.

Catherine Sileo
Catherine Cronin Sileo, 75, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 15, 2000, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born Oct. 16, 1924 in Lemont Furnace, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael A. Cronin and Mary E. Little Cronin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and John Cronin.
Mrs. Sileo was a graduate of North Union High School, Class of 1942 and a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church. She was a retired employee of Uniontown Area Schools where she served in the high school cafeteria.
She is survived by her husband, the Honorable Mayor of the City of Uniontown, James R. Sileo; two sons, James Sileo and his wife Kathryn of Greensburg, and Mark Sileo and his wife Michelle of Maywood, N.J.; a daughter, Mary Louise and her husband Norm Grover of Girard, Ohio; four grandchildren: Scott Grover, Jeffrey Grover, Justin Sileo, and Emily Sileo; four brothers: Raymond Cronin and his wife Dorothy of Detroit, Mich., James Cronin and his wife Maxine of Pontiac, Mich., Donald Cronin and his wife Brenda of Maple Heights, Ohio, and Gerald Cronin and wife Debbie of Lemont Furnace; three sisters, Evelyn Villari of Westland, Mich., Mary Lou Swallop and her husband Kenneth and Peggy Newcomer and Paul Bubash, all of Lemont Furnace; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000 until 9 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church with Rev. Fr. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F. as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Geraldine E. Stangl
Geraldine E. Stangl, 79, of Perryopolis R.D., Pa. died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000.
Surviving are her children: Kenneth Stile and wife Lois of Perryopolis, David Stile and wife Sandy of McKees Rocks, Shirley Inman and husband Wayne of Perryopolis R.D., Donna Stile of Perryopolis, and Brother Howard Kerr of Punxsutawney; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of service.

Victoria Allison
Victoria Allison, 88, of Gibsonia, Pa., formerly of Bentleyville, Pa., died Thursday, September 28, 2000, in Gibsonia.
She is survived by two sons, John Allison and wife, Gladys of Toms River, N.J., and Elmer Allison Jr., and wife, Jane of Smithton, Pa.; two daughters, Dorothy Megles and husband, Joseph of North Port, Fla., and Doris Allison and husband, James Schlaegle of Gibsonia, Pa.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jennie Marano of New Jersey.
Friends will be received in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service.

Naomi Baltz
Naomi Conn Baltz, 96, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of McClellandtown, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, at her home.
She is survived by nieces, Betty Jane (Lardin) McKnight of Canfield, Ohio, Marian (Lardin) Shaffer of McClellandtown, Lorraine Snair of Uniontown, and Harriett (Conn) Frank of Cincinnati, Ohio; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Dan McKnight, Amy Shaffer, Sue Shaffer, Jim Snair, Holly Snair, Linda Lardin, Debbie Conn and Valerie Conn.
Relatives and friends may call at the McCrery Memorial Chapel, Kirkwood Highway (Rt. 2E) and Duncan Road, Wilmington, Del., today from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Alice M. Bartoletti
Alice M. Bartoletti, 80, of Rices Landing, Pa., died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, in St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Donna) Darby of Berea, Ohio; two sons, William J. Bartoletti Jr., of Rices Landing, and Richard A. Bartoletti of Jefferson; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, David Enfield of Brownsville.
Friends will be received in the Behm Funeral Home, Jefferson, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday at 10 a.m., the hour of services.

Lawrence W. Ciarlo
Lawrence W. Ciarlo, 73, of Richland, Wash., died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, in Richland, Wash.
He was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Lorenzo Ciarlo (Ciarla) and Theresa DeLeon Ciarlo (Ciarla).
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Miller Ciarlo; children, Sunday Taylor, Larry Ciarlo, Penny Shaffer, Valerie Tashjian, Charles Ciarlo, Cathy Ludwick, Lee Ann Thornton, Christopher Ciarlo, Lauren Ciarlo and Anthony Ciarlo, all of the State of California; and four sisters, Yolande Baugh, Mrs. John A. (Carolyn) McMullen, Cora Jane Ciarlo and Marie Dawson, all of Uniontown.
Lawrence was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed for his loving and affectionate nature, his humor and wit, his kindness and gentleness, and mostly his hugs and kisses.
He was a graduate of Uniontown High School, served with the U.S. Air Force, and attended Waynesburg College. He worked for Westinghouse as an engineer designer, and was a member of the Elks Lodge 370, in Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, until 9 a.m., at which time a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. John the Evangelist R.C. .Church, with the Rev. Fr. William Kiel as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. The Elks Lodge 370 rituals are this evening at 8 p.m.
