William Sneddon
William "Bill" Sneddon, 65, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in the family residence.
He was born April 9, 1935, in Seatontown, the son of the late James A. Sneddon and Annette Lee Sneddon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special uncle, Joseph Sneddon.
Bill was retired from the Uniontown Fire Department after 31 years of service, with 18 of those years as Chief.
He was a life member of the Keystone Volunteer Fire Company, a member of the Fayette County Fireman’s Association, Western Pennsylvania Fireman’s Association, International Association of Fire Fighters, and a contributing member of the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department.
He was also a member of Laurel Lodge 651 F&AM, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Pittsburgh Consistory, BPO Elks 370, AMVETS Post 103, a social member of the Catholic War Veterans, American Legion Post 51, a life member of VFW Post 47, and a member of the Honor Guard.
Bill served with the U.S. Army Military Police during the Korean War, was a Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts of America, and a first aid and CPR instructor.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Fallon Sneddon; one son, Uniontown Police Chief Kyle W. Sneddon and his wife, Marsha of Farmington, Pa.; a daughter, Carrie Beth Sneddon of Uniontown, and her fiancée, Mark McShane; six grandchildren: twin grandsons, James and Joseph Sneddon, Katie Sneddon and Scott, Ryan and Matthew Leech.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends will also be received on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Gary Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, with full military rites by VFW Post 47. The Farmington Volunteer Fire Department will hold services today at 7:30 p.m. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials may be made to the Uniontown Volunteer Fire Department, or to the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department Truck Fund.

Charles W. Tedrow Jr.
Charles W. Tedrow Jr., 22, of Smock, Pa., died Tuesday, June 5, 2001.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Shelly Tedrow Sr., of Smock, Pa.; two sisters, Lori A. Vernon of Ralph, Pa., and Tracy L. Lindsay of Fayetteville, N.C.; her paternal grandmother, Betty Tedrow of Smock, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Robert L. Warman
Robert Lee "Sonny" Warman, 65, of Connellsville died Monday at his residence.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jay (Kathie Rae) Trowbridge of Cortland, Ohio; 2 granddaughters and two sisters, Dorothy Burley of Connellsville and Gladys Helmick of Cortland, Ohio.
Arrangements are under the direction of Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville. Services will be private.

Rev. Vernon H. Bowers
The Rev. Vernon H. Bowers, 76, of Bridgeville, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born April 2, 1925, in Belle Vernon, Pa., the son of the late Howard and Lillian Montgomery Bowers.
The Rev. Bowers was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Scottish Rite.
He was a graduate of North Belle Vernon High School, Johnson Bible College and had earned two degrees from Butler University. He had served several churches, including churches in Monessen, Pa., Dayton, Ohio, Marion, Ind., and Mt. Lebanon, Pa., from which he retired in 1992. He was an interim pastor in Brownsville, Uniontown, Greensburg, Monongahela, Washington and Bethel Park, all in Pennsylvania. He served for several years as chaplain of St. Clair Hospital Rehabilitation Center. He had also been on several committees for the national, regional and local Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and ecumenical projects. He was a current board member of the Thomas Campbell Apartments in Washington, Pa. Rev. Bowers was known for his wisdom, warmth and wit.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellamae Owens Bowers on Aug. 23, 2001; and a brother, Melvin Bowers in December, 1995.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Howard E. and the Rev. Saundra Michael-Bowers of Indianapolis, Ind., the Rev. Kevin and Diane Bowers of Weirton, W.Va., and Paul and Janet Bowers of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren, Julia and James Bowers of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of prayers, in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m., in the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, corner of Cedar Boulevard and Hollycrest Drive, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, the Vernon and Ellamae Bowers Memorial Fund.

Eleanor T. Bulger
Eleanor T. Bulger, 87, of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Brownsville General Hospital.
She was born March 29, 1914, in Century, Pa., a daughter of the late William E. and Lillie L. Sheets Teasdale.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Bulger Jr.; her brother, William L. Teasdale; and by a sister, Ada T. Harrison.
Eleanor was an inactive member of Christ Episcopal Church of Brownsville.
Surviving are her only child, Barbara L. Schweinebraten and husband, Thomas of Brownsville; grandchildren, Robert F. Bloom III and William H. Bloom, both of Brownsville, Amy J. Janzer of Pittsburgh, Maribeth M. Janzer of Brownsville, and Roxanne F. Schweinebraten of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Kali A. Scanlon of Pittsburgh, and Adam J. Kerik of Brownsville; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St., Browns-ville, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Services will then be conducted by a personal friend of the family, the Rev. James N. Stemple of the Maranatha Assembly of God of Brownsville. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.

Robert F. Daniocek
Robert F. Daniocek, 44, of Amherst, Ohio, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001.
He was born in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Edward Daniocek and Margaret (Koposko) Skinner, who survives.
Robert was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Vermilion, Ohio, a social member of the American Legion Post 51 of Uniontown, and the North Union VFW Post 8543.
He enjoyed auto racing, hunting and fishing, horseshoes and camping.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Daniocek; a daughter, Rebecca Daniocek at home; stepchildren, Terri Lynn and Paul; four grandchildren; five sisters, Barbara Victor, Deborah Miller, Kathleen Daniocek, Karen Martin and Lori Foster; three brothers, Edward Daniocek, Richard Daniocek and Jeffrey Daniocek; special uncles, Frank "Sonny" Koposko and Andrew "Bob" Koposko; and many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS Cemetery, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., A Dignity Memorial Provider, on Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A blessing service will be held at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Fr. Edward McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Harold T. Davidson
Harold Thomas (Bull) Davidson, 68, of Rices Landing R.D., Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa.
He was born Sept. 7, 1933, in Marianna, Pa., the son of the late George Harold Davidson and Margaret Gilroy Davidson.
He was a retired mechanic from Berkowitz Factory in Uniontown, Pa.
Harold was of the Methodist faith.
He was a lifetime member of the Rices Landing Athletic Club and also a trustee.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Shaundra) Bissett of Morgantown, W.Va.; a son, Thomas Davidson and wife, Rose of Clarksville, Pa.; two grandchildren, Alex Hoy and Colten Davidson; two step-grandchildren, David Jr., and Zachary Basinger; one brother, The Rev. Sherman Davidson and wife, Aldene of Grafton, W.Va.; a sister, Martha Davidson of Rices Landing, Pa.; and one niece, Pamela Davidson.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Ave., Carmichaels, Pa., today from 3 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Roger Saunders officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.

Mary E. Flockovich
Mary Elizabeth Flockovich, 90, of Greenville, S.C., and formerly of Hiller, Pa., died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, S.C.
She was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Edenborn, Pa., daughter of the late John and Ilona Simko Bartko.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Taylors, S.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Andrew John Colarik and John Flockovich; brothers, John, Mike, Paul, Joe and Steven Bartko; and a sister, Anna Beres.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Ann Porter of Pasadena, Md., and Stephanie Joan Rohaley of Greenville, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Rae Lynn Lowry, Keith Porter, Bruce Porter, Mark Rohaley, Jeffery Rohaley, Scott Rohaley and John Rohaley III; nine great-grandchildren, Amber Lowry, Ashley Rohaley, Mark Rohaley Jr., Lucas Rohaley, Tyler Rohaley, Hannah Rohaley, Faith Anne Rohaley, Joshua Rohaley and John (Jack) Rohaley IV; and a sister, Elizabeth Hustey of Brownsville, Pa.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at 10 a.m., in St. Mary’s R.C. Church of Brownsville, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Prince of Peace Building Fund, 1209 Brushy Creek Rd., Taylors, SC, 29687.

Scott A. Gudel
Scott Allen "Burg" Gudel, 30, of Daisytown, Pa., died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at 3:40 a.m., in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He came to rest with his family at his side after a two and half year battle with leukemia.
He was born July 24, 1971, in New Eagle, Pa., son of Frank Gudel Jr. of Coal Center, and his mother, Judy Kay (Zamiska) Gudel of Daisytown.
He was Catholic by faith.
Scott was a 1989 graduate of California Area High School, where he was a center of the California Trojan Football team, at which he was named most valuable player. He was also a member of the 1988 Tri-County All Conference team.
In July of 2001, he received the Roy Chipman Courage Award for the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He was a member of the Hungarian Club of Daisytown, and the Daisytown Football Club.
He was employed by the Quinet-Donatelli Monument Company, in Bentleyville.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Amy Jo Gudel Brudnik of Charleroi, and Jill Marie Gudel of Bentleyville; two brothers, David Lee Gudel and wife, Lori of Brownsville, and Michael Duff of Daisytown; his loving friend, Denette McCreary and her daughter, Daleyah McCreary of Belle Vernon; stepparents, John Santo of Daisytown, and Kathy Gudel of Coal Center; a stepbrother, Travis Alton and his wife, Michelle of Ellsworth; three nieces, Amanda Rose Gudel, Destiny Ann Gudel and Dejah Lee Gudel; his godfather, Albert Wrublesky of Richeyville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, George and Rose Zamiska and Frank and Garnett Gudel; and his godmother, Connie Wrublesky.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, today and Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Saturday at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made, in his memory, to the Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St., Route 40, Beallsville, PA, 15313.

Andrew Hajduk
Andrew Hajduk, 75, of Denbo, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was the son of the late Mike and Mary Sabo Hajduk.
Andrew was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Hrubos Hajduk; four children, Andrea and husband, Jim Stone of Smock, Pa., Andrew and wife, Michele Hajduk of Low Hill, Pa., Louis and wife, Connie Hajduk of Centerville, Pa., and Maria Hajduk of Denbo, Pa.; six grandchildren, Michele Halterman, Dan-ielle Stone, Michael and Amanda Hajduk and Alicia and Josh Hajduk; a great-grandson, Kane Halterman; brothers, Michael Hajduk of Daisytown, Pa., Louis Relovsky of Carmichaels, Pa., and John Relovsky of Browns-ville, Pa.; sisters, Marie Roach of New York, N.Y., and Ann Hedegus of Detroit, Mich.; and a niece and nephew, Donna and Larry Hajduk.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Antoinette; a sister, Mary Vereb; and three brothers, John Hajduk, Charles Relov-sky and Joseph Relovsky.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m., in St. Oliver Plunkett R.C. Church of Fredericktown, with the Rev. Fr. Edward Litavec as celebrant. A Parish Vigil Service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. St. Oliver Plunkett Chapel Ladies will hold services today at 6 p.m.
