Anne M. Dattoli
Anne Marie Gaza Dattoli, 82, of Timber Ridge Road, Needmore, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in the Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She was born June 22, 1919, in Masontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Stefan and Karolina Curaj Gaza and the widow of Vincent J. Dattoli, who died on March 9, 1994.
She had been employed during World War II as an electronics assembler.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Hancock, Md.
She is survived by her friend and caretaker, Jane Bowman of Needmore, Pa.; her pet dog, Nika; two half-sisters, Josephine Bonessa of Masontown, Pa., and Joyce Pisoni of Philadelphia, Pa.; one half-brother, Thomas Sierzega of Masontown, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Caroline Rossi and Julia Bennett; one brother, Stephen Gaza; and one half-brother, Edward Sierzega.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at 11 a.m., in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 16 East High St., Hancock, Md., with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Cosgrove as celebrant. Burial will be in the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Thompson Road, North of Hancock, Md.
Friends will be received this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., in the GROVE FUNERAL HOME, 141 West Main St., Hancock, Md., where prayers will be held at 8 p.m. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open from 3 to 9 p.m., today.

Alexander Deli Jr.
Alexander Deli Jr., of New Port Richey, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, in Madison Point Nursing Home in New Port Richey.
He was born in Uledi, Pa., on Dec. 19, 1915, the son of the late Alexander and Beatrice Piroska Torok Deli Sr.
He was a member of the Hungarian Reformed and Evangelical Church.
He was in the CCC stationed in Dubois, Md., during the depression, and worked in the mine for H.C. Frick Coke Company, in Ronco, Pa.
During World War II, he was a civilian employee of the United States Navy at the Ammunition Depot in Oahu, Hawaii. Following his return to the states, he was employed by the Roller Bearing Company, in Detroit, Mich., until his retirement.
He was a member of the High Twelve Lodge No. 577 F&AM; of Detroit, Mich.
Surviving are his sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Beres of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Susan Peterman of Camden, N.J.; brothers, Stephen Deli Sr. of Uniontown, Pa., Frank Deli of Farmington, W.Va., Andrew Deli of Berk-eley Springs, W.Va., and Peter Deli of Baltimore, Md.; nieces, Mrs. Beatrice Dyer of Uniontown, Pa., Mrs. Patricia David of Fairchance, Pa., Janice Deli of Uniontown, Pa., Mrs. Betti Moser and Michelle Deli Bozek, both of Masontown, Pa., and Mrs. Cathy Burd of Manchester, Md.; neph-ews, Stephen Deli Jr., of Uniontown, Pa., David Deli of Parkton, Md., Robert Deli of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and Michael Deli of Purcellville, Va.; and several grandnieces and nephews, as well as great-grandnieces and neph-ews.
He resided in Florida for the past 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary; and brothers, Michael and Louis, who died in infancy.
At his request, he was cremated.
Committal service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at 11 a.m., in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Alex Jalso officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, SYLVAN HEIGHTS Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Edward Dudics
Edward Dudics, 81, of Confluence, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in Mount Macrina Manor.
He was born March 30, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of the late George and Mary Gallor Dudics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Anthony Dudics.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth E. Alden Dudics; two sons, Kenneth Edward Dudics and wife, Karon of Carmichaels, and Robert Adair Dudics and wife, Deborah of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Patrick, Geoffrey, Meredith, Dominique, Aaron and Annie; and one sister, Marion Lippert of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Ed was a retired barber and had 13 years with the Fayette County Bridge Department.
He was a Pfc. with the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, with the 34th Division (Red Bull Division). During this time, he spent 26 months as a Prisoner of War. He received two bronze stars during his service.
He was also an EMT with the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department for 13 years.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, will accord military service at the graveside. The Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department will hold services this evening at 8 p.m., in the funeral home.

Salvatore Iaquinta
Salvatore J. "Sam" Iaquinta, 73, of Connellsville died Tuesday in his home.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Liberoni Iaquinta; two sons, Christopher J. and Dan Iaquinta both of Connellsville; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Katrina) McGinness and Anita Iaquinta all of Connellsville; five grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Mario (Sara) Spina of Morgantown, W.Va., Leatha Ventura of New Hyde Park, N.Y., and Mary Iaquinta of Fairmont, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville today from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

David Karas
David Karas, 50, beloved son of Frank and Dorothy Karas; dear brother of Janice (Mario) Cammarata and Renee (Scott) Foschke; and loving uncle of Kevin and Craig Cammarata passed away.
Friends may call at the Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 4772 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, Ohio, today from 5 to 9 p.m., and in the Corpus Christi Church on Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at 9:30 a.m., the hour of service.

Helen D. Kupets
Helen Dolores Kupets, 85, of Harper Woods, Mich., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, after a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 19, 1916, in Menallen Township, Pa., a daughter of the late John Pavlock and Mary Bogos Pavlock.
Helen was a seamstress and a long-time resident of Republic, Pa. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Republic.
On Nov. 23, 1939, she marriage Albert Edward Kupets. He died on Oct. 27, 1964, at the age of 54. She relocated to Harper Woods, Mich., in 1976, to spend her retirement years with her daughter and sons, who lived in the area. Also deceased, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Ann Meglis; and four brothers, Steve, John, Andy and Mike.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Morrissett and her husband, Don of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.; two sons, Dennis Allen Kupets and his wife, Jennifer of Grosse Point Woods, Mich., and Edward David Kupets and his wife, Johnia of Sterling Heights, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Heather Kupets, Tonya Johnson, Shannon Kupets, Donald Morrissett, Mary Leon, Allison Kupets and Bryan Kupets; one great-grandson, Brian Anthony Leon; and four sisters, Mary Roman and Margaret Nowakowski, both of Warren, Mich., Liz Lubanski of Harper Woods, Mich., and Kay Mehalik of Tower Hill No. 2, Pa.
Friends and family will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, Legion Street, Republic, on Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 9:30 a.m., when a prayer service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m., in Holy Rosary Church, with the Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 8 p.m.

Donald L. Lee
Donald L. Lee, 68, of Uniontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 10, 2001.
He was born July 29, 1933, in Ohiopyle, Pa., son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Rohlf Lee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra and Karen Lee; a son, David Lee; a son-in-law, Joey Prescott; a sister, Margaret Lee; and two brothers, Raymond and Frederick Lee.
Surviving are his wife, Wanetta Marker Lee; these children, Donald W. Lee and wife, Renee of Fort Worth, Texas, Susan Lytle of Friendsville, Md., Mary Jane Poling and husband, Larry of Perryopolis, and Laura Peters and husband, Richard of Farmington; 13 grandchildren, Erica, Todd, Chad, Andrea, David, Steven, Mark, Rebecca, Michelle, Aleesha, Leslie, Dustin and Derek; one sister, Lois Leonard and husband, Sonny of Ohiopyle; and a brother, Lloyd Lee and wife, Janet of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Donald was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He attended the Revere Free Methodist Church, and was retired from the New York Police Department.
Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army, during the Korean Conflict.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Dale Sickles officiating. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.

Ema J. Lowe
Ema Jane Lowe, 86, of Smock, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at her home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1915, in Smock, daughter of the late Frank B. and Bertha Hopkins Arnold.
She was a member of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church of Vanderbilt, and the Women’s Society of the Church, the Saturday Afternoon Club, the Uniontown Christian Women’s Club, the Ellen Rebekah Lodge No. 233, where she was a 50-year member, the Curfew Grange, the PSEA, the PASR, the Fayette Retired Teachers Association, and was an Associate Member of the Teamsters Local No. 491.
Mrs. Lowe was a graduate of the California State Teachers College, and was a retired teacher in the Uniontown Area school district, where she had 24 years of service, and was instrumental in starting the Franklin Township PTA.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lowe; the following daughters and sons, Deitra Strong and her husband, Joel of Smock, Randy Lowe and his wife, Linda of Centre Hall, Pa., Marjorie Bates and her husband, Jack of Tampa, Fla., Darryl Lowe and his wife, Joanne of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Douglas Lowe and his wife, Susan of Farmington, Pa.; the following grandchildren, Jane Anne Strong, Joyce Smithburger, Dayna Gardner, Ryan Lowe, Sheri Unold, Amy Whiteside, Matthew Lowe, Patrick Lowe and Zackary Lowe; and two great-grandchildren, Chase Gardner and Kyra Whiteside.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Friday, Dec. 14, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until 11 a.m., on Saturday, the hour of service, with the Rev. John Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, Pa. Ellen Rebekah Lodge No. 233 will conduct services at 7:30 p.m., on Friday. Memorial contributions should be made to the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Vanderbilt, Pa.

George Radovich
George Radovich, 74, of Carmichaels, Pa., and formerly of College Park, Md., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Radovich was a graduate of Masontown High School. He first worked as a policeman in the District of Columbia, then as a White House Secret Service Agent, and later he owned and operated Radco Reality Inc., of Silver Spring, Md., for many years.
Surviving are three daughters, Dolores P. (Dee) Radovich and Dorothy A. (Dotty) Beverley, both of Rockville, Md., and Elizabeth C. (Libby) Usilaner of Beth-esda, Md.; three grandchildren; a brother, Edward Radovich of Silver Spring, Md.; four sisters, Rose Zorich of Carmichaels, Ann Kaprive of Masontown, Libby Kumper of Gibsonia, Pa., and Dorothy Senko of Ambridge, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, 300 South Vine St., (Route 88), Car-michaels, Pa., on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet for funeral services at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, in the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Old Route 21, Carmichaels, Pa.

Lavina A. Ross
Lavina Amelia Yauger, Minerd, Ruffcorn, Baugh and Ross, 87, of Uniontown, Pa., died in the Mount Macrina Manor on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001.
She was born March 5, 1914, in Yauger Hollow, Pa., the daughter of the late James and Bess Yauger and was raised by the late Albert and Bess Minerd.
Also preceding her in death were husbands, Raymond Ruffcorn in 1953, Harry Baugh in 1979, and James E. Ross in 2001; four brothers, Clell, Ernie and David Yauger and Lt. Col. James Cross; and two sisters, Rose Hicks and Annagail Sipe.
Lavina was a member of The Church of the Brethren (a Lifetime Deaconess), Franklin Grange No. 57, and Gray Lady at the Uniontown Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Donald Ruffcorn of Cartersville, Ga.; two daughters, Sara "Sally" Pegg of Uniontown, and Charlotte Swaney of Solon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Friends will be received in the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, at The Church of the Brethren on Robinson Street, Uniontown, from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of the service, with the Rev. Scott Teets officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
