Barbara A. Nicklow
Barbara A. Leichliter Nicklow, 50, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday, February 26, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born September 28, 1949, in Connellsville, Pa.
She had attended Faith Assembly of God Church.
Her mother, Dorothy Strouthers Leichliter, died November 8, 1999. Also deceased is a grandson, Kevin R. Nicklow Jr.
She is survived by her father, Luther Earl Leichliter of Uniontown; her husband, Eli W. Nicklow; two sons: Kenneth Nicklow at home and Kevin Nicklow and his wife, Brenda, of Masontown, Pa.; two daughters: Dawn Oros and her husband, Jeff, of Leckrone, Pa., and Karen Riggin and her husband, James, of Bitner, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Kristen, Dylan, Jeffrey, Maria, Melissa, Stephen, J. J., and Angel; sisters and brothers: Ella Mae Rigga of Scottdale, Pa., Earl Leichliter, Leona Martin, and James Leichliter all of Connellsville, Pa., William Leichliter, Dorothy Leichliter, Mildred Montgomery, Robert Leichliter, Gail Cole, Charles Leichliter and Raymond Leichliter all of Uniontown; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, March 1, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald J. Immel officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

PNSN Joseph V. Persely Jr.
PNSN Joseph V. Persely Jr., 22, United States Navy, died suddenly on Friday, February 25, 2000, in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born June 11, 1977, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Joseph V. Persely and Diana Biller Persely of McClellandtown, Pa.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Jennifer Persely at home; paternal grandparents, Victor and Helen Persely, and maternal grandfather, Rudolph Biller, all of McClellandtown, Pa.; and these aunts and uncles: Judy and Kenny Biller, Duane and Linda Biller, and Bernell and Jeannette Barnhart.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mildred Biller, and his uncle, Greg Biller.
Personnelman Seaman Persely was currently stationed aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt. He touched many lives in customer relations and will be sadly missed by his shipmates and co-workers.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 29, until 11 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:30 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, Pa., with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa., where Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Navy Reserves.
The United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps Reserves of North Versailles, Pa., will stand as Honor Guard at the Funeral Home.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Clara Fell Pleban
Clara Fell Pleban, 86, of Masontown, Pa., went to be with The Lord and be reunited with her loved ones on Saturday, February 26, 2000, from Uniontown Hospital.
She was born December 23, 1913, in Ronco, Pa., daughter of Anthony Fell and Theresa Bartley Fell.
She graduated from All Saints School, was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church, and was an avid bingo player.
A son, Franklin Beattie Jr., sisters, Louise Mason and Genevieve Bobish, brother, Michael Fell, daughter-in-law, Vivian Gorcheck, and her parents are deceased.
She is survived by her partner of 46 years, Steve Pleban; a son, George Gorcheck of Masontown, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joanne) Ludrosky of Sarahsville, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Daliah Beattie (widow of Franklin Beattie Jr.) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; sister-in-law, Viola ``Bunny'' Fell (widow of Michael Fell) of Ronco, Pa.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Ernest (Frances) Rush of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Anna Mary Kibert of New Kensington, Pa.; one brother, Anthony Fell Jr. and his wife, Geraldine, of Masontown, Pa.; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and River avenues, Masontown, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 1, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown, with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown.
Memorial donations to All Saints School.
Parish Wake Service on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
We will all miss you and cherish your memory!

Harold L. Sager
Harold L. ``Mike'' Sager, 83, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Friday, February 25, 2000, at 12:45 a.m. in HCR Manor Care, Bethel Park, Pa.
He was born August 20, 1916, in Smithton, Pa., son of Jacob L. Sager and Catherine Snyder Sager.
Mike was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1934 where he was Class President and played basketball and baseball.
He played basketball and baseball and was Team Captain at Bucknell University and was also President of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
He also played semi-pro baseball with the St. Louis Browns.
He was a member of Smithton Lions Club and Perryopolis Lions Club, past Chairman of the Municipal Water Authority, a member of Gummert Lodge No. 252 F.&A.M. of Fayette City, Pittsburgh Consistory and The Syria Temple, and past Chairman and Elder of the First Christian Church Board.
He was active with scouting and a lifelong area businessman with his son, Jeffrey.
His hobbies were fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Luce Sager; their children: Mrs. Graham (Carol) Knox of Mount Lebanon, Pa., Ms. Suellen Fitzsimmons of Bethel Park, Pa., and Jeffrey L. Sager and his wife, Sherry, of Belle Vernon, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 3, at 11 a.m. in First Christian Church, Perryopolis, with the Rev. Paul M. Ragle officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Perryopolis, PA 15473.
Arrangements are under direction of the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa.

Jennifer A. Sigwalt
Jennifer A. Sigwalt, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2000, at her residence.
She was born April 18, 1972, in Washington, D.C., a daughter of Marlene Paris Sigwalt of Louisville, Ky., and the late Frederick R. Sigwalt.
She was a graduate of Edison High School in Alexandria, Va., attended Northern Virginia Community College, was a former member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Alexandria, Va., and a member of St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Church in Louisville, Ky.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Edward Sigwalt, and her paternal grandfather, Frederick Sigwalt.
Besides her mother she is survived by three brothers, Sean Sigwalt of Farrell, Pa., Mark Sigwalt and Eric Sigwalt both of Louisville, Ky.; her maternal grandparents, Homer and Andrianna Paris of Filbert-Orient Road; and her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Sigwalt of Tower Hill One, Pa.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion St., Republic, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 2, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Republic, with Rev. Fr. James L. Popochock as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
A Wake Service will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Sally Garletts Smiley
Sally Jean Garletts Smiley, 61, of Dunbar, Pa., died Friday, February 25, 2000, in Fay-West Health System's Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.
She was born June 11, 1938, in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Wilbur Garletts and Evelyn Jolliffe Garletts.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pechin Chapel.
A daughter, Michelle L. Smiley, a son, Mark D. Smiley, brothers, George and Richard Garletts, and her parents are deceased.
She is survived by children: Ronald K. Smiley and wife, Janice, of Hopwood, Pa., Charles L. Smiley Jr. of Dunbar, Larry K. Smiley of Connellsville, Pa., Kimberly S. McDonough and husband, David, of Dunbar; grandchildren: Christopher R. Turek and Sydney N. McDonough; brothers: Ronald, Wilbert, Gary, and Keith Garletts; sisters: Hilda Garletts, Sandy Rutter, and Donna Cole; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar, Pa., today from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, March 1, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment follows in Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Juliann Keitz Wilson
Juliann ``Judy'' Keitz Wilson, 55, of Norvelt and formerly of Mammoth, Pa., daughter of Paul Keitz and Katharine Pocratsky Keitz, died Thursday, February 24, 2000, in Fay-West Health System's Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Wilson of Youngwood, Pa.; aunts: Mrs. Andrew (Agnes) Pinskey of Mammoth and Mrs. Frank (Juliann ``Babe'') Pochinsky of Latrobe R.D.1, Pa.; uncles: Stanley Pocratsky of Finleyville, Pa., Raymond Pocratsky and Thomas Pocratsky both of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; Godchildren: Andy Pinskey III and Katie Ann Bush; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, Pa., today until 10:15 a.m.
