Florence Cathers Mancuso, 90, of Ashland, Va., formerly of Waynesburg, Greene County, Pa., who operated Mancuso's Drive-In Restaurant in Waynesburg with her husband, Sidney Mancuso, died Tuesday, February 22, 2000, at Bos Secours Regional Medical Center, Mechanicsville, Va.
She is survived by two daughters: Elaine Mancuso Speice of Elmhurt, Ill., and Linda Mancuso Kurtz of Ashland, Va.; grandchildren: Byron Speice Jr., Kristan Conwell, Jeffrey Speice, Steven Kurtz, Timothy Kurtz, Robin Kurtz; and great-grandchildren: Phillip Kurtz and Courtney Kurtz.
Friends will be received at the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 25, until 9:30 a.m.

Carolyn Smith McIntire
Carolyn A. Smith McIntire, 67, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, February 19, 2000, at Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio.
She was born February 11, 1933, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Robert I. Smith and Thelma Conn Smith.
Mrs. McIntire was a member of First Presbyterian Church in New Philadelphia, member of the choir, officer in the Women's Organization of the church, and officer in the Tuscarawas County Philharmonic League.
When she was a resident of Uniontown she was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and a Sunday School teacher.
A brother, Robert Smith, and her parents are deceased.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas K. McIntire; two sons: Douglas Kent McIntire and his wife, Margaret, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Kevin S. McIntire and his wife, Carolyn, of Grove City, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Kelly J. McIntire, Michelle McIntire, and Douglas A. McIntire.
Friends will be received in the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, February 24, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating.
Interment will follow.

Victoria Menia Miller
Victoria "Vickey" Menia Miller, 83, of California, Pa., died Tuesday, February 22, 2000.
She was born January 27, 1917, in Philipsburg, Pa., daughter of Augusto and Matilda Menia.
Vickey was a veteran of World War II who served with the 1045th United States Army Air Force Base Unit. She also worked for General Motors and retired from California University of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Miller (1992), their daughter, Carlotta May Miller Davis (1988), a sister, Sarah Miller, brothers, Rebello Menia and Reshar Menia, and her parents.
Surviving are a brother, Otto Menia of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a sister, Carlotta Menia Fauvie of Warren, Ohio; and grandchildren, Christopher Davis and Catherine Davis.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Thursday, February 24, from 10 a.m. until l p.m., the hour of service with Rev. Fr. Edward Litavec officiating.
Interment will follow in Phillips Cemetery, California, Pa.

Harold E. Mortimore
Col. Harold (Hal) E. Mortimore, 76, of Carlisle, formerly of Connellsville, died Sunday in the Church of God Home, North Middleton Township.
He is survived by one son, Randal E. Mortimore of Carlisle; one daughter, Leslyn I. Radomsky of State College; two brothers, Donald Mortimore of San Angelo, Texas and Dwayne Mortimore of Latrobe; one sister, Dorothy Webber of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.

Norma M. Shanefelter
Norma Martinelli Shanefelter, 87, of Smock Reservoir died Monday, February 21, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born October 30, 1912, in the Solmona Abruzzi Region, Italy, daughter of Luigi Martinelli and Rose Leopardi Martinelli.
She was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock.
Preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Joseph, Richard, Lawrence and Anthony Martinelli.
She is survived by four sons: David Shanefelter and his wife, Bernie, of Greensburg, Pa., Denny Shanefelter and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Smock Reservoir, Robert Shanefelter and his wife, Mary Ann, of Connecticut, and Thomas Shanefelter and his wife, Carol, of Perryopolis, Pa.; 10 grandchildren: David Shanefelter, Debbie Polkembo, Jennifer Palmer, Beth Shanefelter, Mark Shanefelter, Kelly Lambrick, Katrina Shanefelter, Sherry Masney, Nancy Mickey, and Thomas Shanefelter; three great-grandchildren: Lara Mickey, Michelle Mickey, and Cullen Masney; a brother, James Martinelli and his wife, Evelyn, of State Line, Pa.; two sisters: Lena Hisnanick of Perryopolis, Pa., and Geraldine Brill and her husband, Gerald, of Bethel Park, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, February 25, at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock, for a Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Parish Vigil Service this evening at 7:30 p.m.
Confraternity Rosary Society will recite the Rosary Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Carl Edwards Spence Sr.
Carl Edwards Spence Sr., 61, of Youngstown, Ohio, and formerly of Isabella, Pa., passed away Friday, February 18, 2000.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He was born March 16, 1938, in Luzerne Township, Fayette County, Pa., attended public schools in Isabella, Pa., and graduated from Brownsville High School in Brownsville, Pa.
After relocating to Youngstown, Ohio, from Isabella, Pa., in 1964, he was employed by Youngstown Sheet and Tube in the Tube Shipping Department. He later retired from the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation in 1997.
Mr. Spence was also involved with many community and political activities.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Spence Sr., and a sister, Sandra Spence Carr.
His mother, Louise E. Smith Spence, survives him.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sons: John Countryman Jr. and wife, Yvette, of Suffolk, Virginia, Carl Spence Jr. of Utica, New York, and the Rev. Darryl Spence Sr. and wife, Beverly, of St. Paul, Minnesota; two daughters: Debra Jones and husband, Lamonte, and Tracey Spence of Youngstown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren including Keisha Berry whom he raised; two great-grandchildren; four Godchildren: Paulette Smith and Christopher Overton both of Youngstown, Ohio, Renee Carr of Fort Washington, Maryland, and Crystal Thomas Fuller of Georgia; three brothers: the Rev. Robert Spence Jr. and wife, Kathleen, of Brownsville, Pa., William Spence Sr. of Youngstown, Ohio, and Charles Spence of Fort Washington, Maryland; two sisters: Fedellia Smith and husband, Mack, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Phyllis Spence of Fort Washington, Maryland; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the L. E. BLACK & PHILLIPS FUNERAL HOME, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, Ohio, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral will be Friday, February 25, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Funston Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio.

Kevin Anthony Sublett
Kevin Anthony Sublett was born September 13, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Randall Sublett and Barbara Smith Sublett. At the age of 25 Kevin departed this life on Saturday, February 19, 2000.
He graduated from Brownsville Senior High School in June 1994 and was a member of the basketball, track, and football teams.
He attended ITT Tech in Pittsburgh, Pa., for a short period of time.
He enjoyed fishing, drawing, and hanging out with his friends.
He leaves to mourn: his mother and father, Barbara Smith Sublett of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Randall Sublett of Cleveland, Ohio, and his grandparents, Mamie and Jute Dickens of Pittsburgh, Pa..
He leaves behind the memories of his life: his wife, Simone Fitzgerald; six children: Kevin Sublett Jr., Bre'l Sublett, Charli Sublett, Kelsey Smith, and Rave Fitzgerald; four brothers and four sisters: Rosemarie and James Ford, Pittsburgh, Pa., Joseph and Lisa Poole, Pittsburgh, Pa., William and Carmen Poole, Pittsburgh, Pa., Kimberly Poole, Pittsburgh, Pa., Shawn and Thomas Smith, Pittsburgh, Pa., Angeleet Nelson, Pittsburgh, Pa., Thomas and Brenda Sublett, Brownsville, Pa., and Gary Sublett, Brownsville, Pa.; 10 nieces and six nephews: Shawnta, Rob, Dorian, Jennifer, Lakeyshia, Amber, Joseph, Nicole, Chavela, Lamont, Shaquala, Tiffany, Thomas, and Keonte; one greatniece, Patience; his special friends, David Brown, his best friend, and Russell Sanders; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and close friends.
Friends will be received at the LAW FUNERAL HOME, 135 Angle Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held Thursday, February 24, at 11 a.m. in Mount Ararat Baptist Church, Cardale, Pa., with Rev. Dr. James Slaughter officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Brownsville, Pa.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

Blanche Kaiser VanDivner
Blanche Kaiser VanDivner, 83, of Brownsville, Pa. Pa., died Tuesday, February 22, 2000, in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg.
Born February 13, 1917 in Knoxville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Clara Harden Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Walter Kaiser, her second husband, Miles "Monk" VanDivner; her brother, Jim Smith; her son, Albert "Porky" Kaiser; and by her daughter, Cora Kaiser VanDivner.
A life member of the First Christian Church (DOC) in Brownsville, Blanche particpated in the activities of the Chrisian Women's Fellowship.
Blanche is survived by sons: Walter Kaiser and his wife Liz of Matawan, N.J., George Kaiser and his wife Vicki of Uniontown, Tim VanDivner and his wife Robin of East Millsboro; daughters: Mahalah Kaiser VanDivner and her husband Gene of Grindstone, Sandy Clark and her husband Rick of Mount Braddock; sisters, Pearl Jones, Marian Wright and her husband Edgar, all of Brownsville; sister-in-law, Della Smith; and daughter-in-law, Sally "Toni" DiDominic Kaiser, both of Brownsville; two granddaughters: Charity and Rikki Clark with whom she lived; 23 other grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St., Brownsvile, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday, Feb. 25, 2000 from 10 until 11 a.m. Services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. J.W. Hormell.
Burial will follow in the Acklin Cemetery, Brownsville, Pa.
