Williams Death date: December 12, 2001 Claude M. Williams, age 87 of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon Township. He was born in Irvona, PA, the son of the late Grant and Maude (Lallment) Williams. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Krachala) Williams; a daughter, Claudia Williams and several brothers and sisters: Ione Sutkus, Mary Morgret, Viola Grigor and Blair, Karl, Kenneth, George and Faye Williams. Concurrent with his government service, he had faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and School of Mines, at the Graduate School of the US Department of Agriculture, at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and in the College of Mineral and Energy Resources and the Medical School of the University of West Virginia.
