Also preceded in death by a son, Norman Gierl; two sisters, Helen Franz and Livvy Stich; and one brother, Paul Huerbin. Loving mother of Kenneth (Eileen) Gierl of Ross Township and Robert Gierl of Bradford Woods and former daughter-in-law Susan Gierl. Sister of Rita Gulasy of Sheriden. Also survived by five grandchildren, John, Kenneth Jr., Kevin and Meghen Gierl and Amy Winkler. Great-grandmother of Greta and Alana Winkler. Loving husband of Arline J. (Jufer) Bennett, of Allison Park. Beloved father of Carol Manson of Plum, and Beth Bennett of Cranberry Township, formerly of Castle Shannon. Loving grandfather of Krista and Jamie Manson of Plum. Also survived by one sister, Jane Windish of Mt. Troy. Robert Bennett became an actuary in 1976 and was the co-founder of Griffith and Bennett in 1966. He was a docent for Pittsbrugh History and Landmarks, a member of Highland Country Club, and active in Trinity Cathedral and the Episcopal Diocese. Bemme III of Jefferson, OH, and one brother, Frederick W. and his wife Leona Heintz of Glenshaw. Also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha F. Bemme of Jefferson, OH, William L. Bemme of Jefferson, OH, Ryan M. Schwartfigure of Ashtabula, OH, and Benjamin M. Schwartfigure of Ft. Brag, NC.
