MARY T. BICHLMEIER
Mary T. Bichlmeier, 79, of Marysville, formerly of Altoona, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Altoona, and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville.
She was the widow of Joseph Bichlmeier.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan Meinke of Marysville and Mary Jo Nispel of Tewksbury, Mass.; two sisters, Martha Dietrich of Greenwood and Anna DeVore of Garden Heights; a brother, Frank Thalhauser of Hollidaysburg; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 18 in St. John Church. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Altoona. Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola, handled local arrangements.

HARVEY A. BICKHART
Harvey A. Bickhart, 84, of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 1, died Monday, April 6, 1998 at home.
He was born March 13, 1914 at Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 1, Snyder County, to the late Jacob S. and Emma (Bowersox) Bickhart.
He was a farmer and attended the curb market in Sunbury for more than 53 years. He was a member of Aline United Methodist Church, teaching the adult men's class for more than 60 years, Snyder County Gideons, Reliance Hose Company Ambulance League of Middleburg, Agway Association of Middleburg and the Pennsylvania Fruit Growers Association.
He was the widower of Sarah Matilda (Hinkle) Bickhart, who died May 13, 1985.
Surviving are six daughters, Anna Mae, at home, Mary E. Dippery of Beaver Springs, Ruth Ann Hackenburg of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 1, Darlene L. Graybill of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2, Fay I. Johnson of Port Trevorton RR 1 and Patricia S. Callender of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Henry E. of Beavertown; two sisters-in-law, Minnie Bickhart of Millerstown RR 2 and Roberta Bickhart of Watsontown RR 1; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Walter L. Bickhart, Samuel J. Bickhart, George E. Bickhart, James A. Bickhart, Paul O. Bickhart and Walter Ramer; and a sister, Norma Knouse.
Services were held April 10 in his church with pastor James E. Lewis officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, handled arrangements.

ROBERT O. BINGAMAN
Robert O. Bingaman, 76, of Enola died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Oct. 21, 1922 in Adams County to the late Robert and Sarah Elizabeth (Corwell) Bingaman.
He retired from East Pennsboro Middle School and had worked for the former Pennsylvania Railroad; was an Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient; a past commander of West Fairview American Legion Post 984 and Enola American Legion Post 751 and a Legion district deputy commander; a past commander of the Perry County VFW Council and Duncannon VFW Post 255; a past commander and senior vice commander of Wormleysburg VFW Post 1462; and a member of the VFW National Home, Eaton Rapids, Mich., and the Enola Sportsmen's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Barninger Bingaman of Marysville; two sons, Robert O. of Marysville and John W. of Enola; three daughters, Chyerl A. Walters and Sandra K. King, both of Marysville, and Kathleen I. Supko of Duncannon; a brother, W. Frank Alandar of Arizona; two sisters, Janet and Joanne Bornman, both of Duncannon; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Graveside services, with military honors, were held Oct. 31 in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon, with the Rev. John Nelson officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lebanon 17042.

ARTHUR M. BINNER
Arthur M. Binner, 85, of New Bloomfield, and formerly of Easton, died Thursday, April 16, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
He was born April 24, 1912 at Schaefferstown to the late Alvin Binner and Laura (Smith) Binner Hartman.
He was a retired yardmaster at the former Lehigh Valley Railroad, and a 1930 graduate of Lebanon High School.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice E. Libby Binner, also of Perry Village; two daughters, Kay L. Major of Paxinos, and Olive A. Stoops of New Bloomfield; two sisters, Fannie Weaver of Ronks and Kathryn Hanscom of Amsterdam, N.Y.; a stepbrother, Rudolph Hartman of Schaefferstown; three stepsisters, Josephine Ream of Myerstown; Margarite Gockley of Lancaster, and Elizabeth Moyer of Schaefferstown; and three grandchildren.
Services were held April 20 in the Perry Village Chapel, with the Rev. Jay B. Eickhoff officiating. Graveside services followed in Northampton Memorial Shrine Inc. Cemetery, Easton.
Arrangements were handled by Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Perry Village Nursing Home, 213 E. Main St., New Bloomfield 17068.

BEATRICE E. BINNER
Beatrice E. Binner, 85, of Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998 in the home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1913 in Easton to the late George and Olive (Miller) Libby.
She was a graduate of Hartley Twp. High School, Laurelton, and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Easton. She was the widow of Arthur M. Binner, who died April 16, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Kay L. Major of Paxinos and Olive A. Stoops of New Bloomfield; two brothers, Charles C. Libby of Easton and George R. Libby Jr. of Philipsburg, N.J.; a sister, Ruth Stiles of Easton; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Dec. 17 in Northhampton Memorial Shrine Inc. Cemetery, Easton, with the Rev. Jay B. Eickhoff officiating.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Village Nursing Home, 213 E. Main St., New Bloomfield 17068.

FERN M. BISTLINE
Fern M. Bistline, 67, of Landisburg RR 1 died Tuesday, April 14, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born March 30, 1931 at Carlisle to the late Loy and Helen (Adair) McMillen.
She was a former elementary school teacher in the Carlisle School District; founder of the Perry County Diabetic Support Group; a 1949 graduate of the former Green Park Union High School, Elliottsburg, and 1953 graduate of Shippensburg University; and a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Landisburg, Landisburg Ambulance Club and The Perry Historians.
Surviving are her husband, James H. Bistline; two daughters, Kandy A. Klacik of Springfield, Va., and Barbara L. Crawford of Spring Grove; a sister, Faye Rosenberry of Carlisle; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Ernestine (Clouse) McMillen.
Services were held April 17 in her church with the Rev. E. Levain Fouse officiating. Burial was in Landisburg Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

LEO K. BITTING
Leo K. Bitting, 81, of Park Drive, Marysville, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was a retired freight conductor from the Pennsylvania Railroad; an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II; and a member of VFW Post 882, Marysville, American Legion Post 751, Enola, and Enola Sportsmans Club.
He was the widower of Margaret Ellen Foltz Bitting.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Rigg of Marysville; a sister, Julie Taraschi of Hershey; two brothers, Kenneth Meads of Elizabethtown and Jay Meads of Lititz; and a granddaughter, Kelly A. Group of Marysville.
Services were held Oct. 9 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg 17043.

CHESTER R. BIXLER
Chester R. Bixler, 61, of Lower Paxton Twp., died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998 at home.
He retired as an electrician and air-conditioner mechanic from the former New Cumberland Army Depot.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Machamer Bixler; a son, Matthew of Overland Park, Kan.; a daughter, April Carns of Duncannon; two brothers, Leonard Bixler of Summerdale and Dennis Paige of Nashua, N. H.; six sisters, Jean Kutzer of Edwardsville, Norma Leinninger of Steelton, Mildred Cowan of York, Shirley Killian of Myerstown, Doris Sallada of Valley View and Faith Hoffman of Mount Holly Springs; and two grandsons.
Graveside memorial services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Lower Paxton Twp., is handling arrangements.
