MARLENE M. HOERNER
Marlene M. Hoerner, 63, of Sites Circle, Marysville, died Saturday, June 6, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She formerly worked for Marysville VFW and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Hoerner Sr.; two sons, Robert Jr. of Marysville and Edwin C. of Collegeville; two daughters, Donna M. Hernandez of Harrisburg and Tina A. Brannon of Duncannon; a sister, Jackie Houseman of Marysville; five grandsons; and a great-grandson.
Services were held June 10 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

CLARA B. HOFFMAN
Clara B. Books Hoffman, 81, of Elliottsburg died Wednesday, July 1, 1998 at home.
She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Congregational Church, Mechanicsburg.
She was the widow of John C. Hoffman Sr.
Surviving are five sons, John Jr., Donald and Barry, all of Mechanicsburg, Harold of Harrisburg and Douglas of Shermans Dale; two daughters, Shirley Soparno of Carlisle and Jeannette Reisinger of Elliottsburg; a brother, Jeremiah Books of Middletown; 35 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 8 in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg. Burial was in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.

ELMIRA C. HOFFMAN
Elmira C. Hoffman, 82, of Newport RR 2 died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Nov. 23, 1915 in Perry County.
She was the widow of Augustine Hoffman.
Surviving is a sister, Ethel Dockey of Millersburg.
Services were held Sept. 24 in Newport Assembly of God with the Rev. Gary Bellis officiating. Burial was in Perry Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

MARIE M. HOFFMAN
Marie M. Hoffman, 89, of S. School Street, Millerstown, died Saturday, July 18, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Nov. 20, 1908 in Akron, Ohio to the late Andrew and Margaret (Keatley) Magnuson.
She was a retired nurse from Greenwood School District and Perry County American Red Cross. She was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church, Perry Chapter 459 OES, Millerstown Civic Club and a graduate of Newport High School and Methodist Hospital, Philadelphia.
She was the widow of William E. Hoffman.
Surviving are a son, William A. of Berlin, N.J.; a daughter, Jane Roush of Millerstown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 22 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Arthur Montgomery officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church building fund, c/o the Rev. Arthur Montgomery, 702 E. Sunbury St., Millerstown 17062, or Perry Village, 213 E. Main St., New Bloomfield 17068.

MINNIE MAE HOFFMAN
Minnie Mae Hoffman, 91, of Mulberry Street, Newport, died Thursday, July 2, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Feb. 6, 1907 in Pottsville to the late William and Bertha (Radamaker) Hoffman.
She was a retired practical nurse and a member of Newport Church of God.
Surviving are a nephew, David Haines of Newport, and a niece, Minnie Pifer of Harrisburg.
Services were held July 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Brand Eaton officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg 17111.

RHONDA L. HOFFMAN
Rhonda L. Hoffman, 46, of Newport RR 3 died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998 at her Saville Twp. home.
She was born Jan. 19, 1952 in Lewistown. She was an employee of Pennsylvania Blue Shield; a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, Chapter 21 of Millerstown; and was secretary of the Eshcol Cemetery Association.
Surviving are a companion, Dean Losch; her parents, Lewis Sr. and Catherine Hockenberry Hoffman of Newport RR 3; four brothers, Lewis Jr. and David Sr., both of Newport RR 3, Terry of Shermans Dale and Roger of Millerstown; and a sister, Sherry Rudy of Newport.
Services were held Aug. 22 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Patricia Woolever officiating. Burial was in Eshcol Cemetery, Saville Twp.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Capital Region Unit, 1500 N. Second St., Harrisburg 17102, or Comfort Care of Holy Spirit Inc., 205 Grandview, Camp Hill 17011.

ROBERT S. HOFFMAN
Robert S. Hoffman, 77, of Oneida Street, Harrisburg, formerly of New Bloomfield RR 1, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born June 28, 1920 in Enola to the late Samuel and Catherine (Walker) Hoffman.
He was a retired state employee and a former employee of York Building Products; a member of Moose Lodge 1526, Newport; and an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Irene Seig Hoffman; a stepson, Barry A. Demey of New Bloomfield RR 1; two sisters, Ruth Sheibley of Enola and Charlotte Wilson of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 3 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Michael Zang officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope of Glory Christian Fellowship, RR 1, New Bloomfield 17068.

BEATRICE P. HOLLAND
Beatrice P. Holland, 94, of Marysville died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She retired from the former R.K. Watts 5 & 10, Marysville, was a former employee of the state Revenue Department; and a member of Marysville Church of God, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Auxiliary and the Marysville Senior Life Association.
Surviving are a brother, Warren E., and a sister, Mary A. Kiner, both of Marysville.
Graveside services were held Aug. 10 in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 106 Maple Ave., Marysville 17053.
