MYRTLE C. KIMMEL
Myrtle C. Kimmel, 74, of W. Main Street, New Bloomfield, died Friday, April 7, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born May 13, 1925 in Perry County to the late Earl and Lillian (Brunner) Kimmel.
She retired from the state Bureau of Employment Security, and was a member of New Bloomfield United Methodist Church and Mahoney Rebekah Lodge 428.
Surviving are two brothers, Russel L. of New Bloomfield and Ralph C. of Elliottsburg; and four sisters, Mary E. Beard of Harrisburg, Sarah A. Reisinger of Mechancisburg, and Evelyn B. Baker and Ruth E. George, both of Duncannon.
Rebekah rites, followed by services, were held April 11 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Patricia Woolever officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

KENNETH C. KINT
Kenneth C. Kint, 77, of Honey Grove died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000 at home.
He was born Feb. 24, 1922 in Honey Grove to the late James P. and Helen (Rhinesmith) Kint.
He was a retired mechanic/parts manager for Norman D. Clark & Son Farm Equipment; a farmer; an Army veteran of World War II with the 461st Field Artillery, fighting in three battles including the Battle of the Bulge; former Tuscarora Twp. auditor and tax collector; served many years as vice president of the McCullochs Mills Cemetery Association; a member of Honey Grove United Methodist Church and its Sunday school where he served as superintendent for 30 years, East Waterford Fire Company & Ambulance, Beale Twp. Fire Company and American Legion Post 298, Mifflintown.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sarah Yohn Kint; a son, Perry R. of Honey Grove; a brother, Ralph G. Kint of Washingtonville, N.Y.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, four brothers, two sisters and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Jan. 16 in Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove, with the Rev. Don Walters officiating. Burial will be in McCullochs Mills Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sun Home Hospice, 22 Hudson Ave., Lewistown 17044.

GLADYS B. KISTLER
Gladys B. Kistler, 92, of Duncannon died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Oct. 22, 1907 in Madison Twp. to the late John and Emma (Van Scyoc) Junkin.
She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Duncannon.
She was the widow of Joseph F. Kistler.
Surviving are a son, Joseph A. of Duncannon; two daughters, Wilma I. Bixler of New Bloomfield and Donna R. Kistler of Duncannon; a sister, Helen Page of Camp Hill; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Loysville.
Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 212 N. High St., Duncannon 17020.

RUTH V. KITNER
Ruth V. Kitner, 63, of Sleepy Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000 in HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center, Mechanicsburg.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Elliottsburg, and Central Perry Senior Citizens Center, New Bloomfield.
She was the widow of Robert F. Kitner.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Sr. and Roy A., both of New Bloomfield; two daughters, Rebecca Noss of Shermans Dale and Rachel Kitner of Newville; two brothers, Benjamin Turnbaugh Jr. of Newport and William Turnbaugh of Carlisle; two sisters, Mary Smiley of Shermans Dale and Donna Stone of New Bloomfield; a half-sister, Betty Wallace of Shermans Dale; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were held Sept. 14 in her church. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

SARAH V. KLINE
Sarah V. Kline, 96, of E. McClure Street, New Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000 at home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1904 in Dalmatia to the late Daniel A. and Julia (Radle) Kline.
She was a schoolteacher in Abington, Pa., Pensauken, N.J., and the former Tressler Orphans School in Loysville; a 1922 graduate of New Bloomfield High School and a 1926 graduate of Hood College, Frederick, Md.; and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, New Bloomfield.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Dec. 2 in Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. Anthony C. Hill officiating.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

BARBARA A. KLINGER
Barbara A. Klinger, 57, of Newport RR 2 died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born March 21, 1943 in Williamstown.
She was an employee of Dr. Sanford Silverstein and enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, gardening and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, James E. Klinger; two sons, James E. Jr. and Heath A., both of Newport; a brother, Terry L. Adams of Dillsburg; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 28 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1517 Cedar Cliff Drive, Camp Hill 17011.

DAWN L. KRATZER
Dawn L. Kratzer, 50, of Liverpool RR 1 died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000 at home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1950 in Sunbury to Dorothy Rauch Delbaugh of Liverpool and the late Mark "Sparky" Delbaugh Sr.
She was employed by the Postal Service as a rural mail carrier for the Millerstown RR 2 area; a 1968 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 1971 graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in business education; a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church where she was treasurer, served on the finance committee and administrative council, and taught the nursery class and served as the pianist for the Sunday school; participated in the annual CROP Walk and American Heart Association Walk-a-Thon; a member of the Juniata County Literacy Program; an avid reader; enjoyed knitting, cooking, baking, and was known for service to others.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband of 29 years, Greg L. Kratzer Sr.; a son, Greg L. "J.R." Jr. of New Bloomfield; two daughters, Kelly A. Kuhns of Millersville and Kimberly S. Kratzer of York; a brother, Mark Delbaugh Jr. of Liverpool RR 1; four sisters, Annette Goodling of Beavertown, Eileen Linn of Liverpool, Kathy Bowman of McAlisterville RR 2 and Mary Maiolo of Hershey.
Services were held Nov. 5 in her church with the Rev. Peter M. Beddia officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church's missions fund, c/o William Pabst, 109 S. Market St., Liverpool 17045.

NORMAN W. KRATZER
Norman Walter Kratzer, 73, of Richfield died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Jan. 11, 1927 at Richfield to the late Charles Michael and Edna (Lauver) Kratzer.
He retired as a truck driver from Consolidated Freight Truck Lines, York; had worked part-time for Gerald Lauver Trucking of Mount Pleasant Mills; was a member and trustee of Richfield Mennonite Church; a member of Richfield Ambulance League and Teamsters Local 776, Harrisburg; and enjoyed camping, fishing, carpentry and traveling.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Geraldine J. Pellman Kratzer; two sons, Donald N. of Millerstown RR 1 and Ronald L. of Richfield RR 2; five daughters, Connie J. Heintzelman of Wernersville, Von Rickenbaugh of McAlisterville RR 1, Bonita K. Hackenberg and Lonnie J. Colyer, both of Richfield RR 1, and Sondra A. Bassler of McAlisterville; three brothers, Ernest N. of Millerstown RR 1, Elwood L. of Richfield and Harold K. of Richfield RR 1; a sister, Geraldine M. Goodling of Mifflintown RR 5; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence R. in 1977 and Earl R. Sr. in 1997.
Services were held Oct. 31 in his church with pastor Jerry R. O'Connell officiating and pastor Chandler J. Cutting assisting. Burial was in Richfield Union Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, handled arrangements.
