ADA MIEDZWICKI
Ada M. Miedzwicki, 76, of Paradise Park, New Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Dec. 1, 1924 in Huntingdon to the late Adam H. and Grace (Welch) Cromes.
She retired from the state Agriculture Department; was a senior volunteer with RSVP of the Capital Region; a volunteer at Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon; and a member of Duncannon Church of God, VFW Auxiliary Unit 255, Duncannon Fire Company Auxiliary, Duncannon Golden Age Club, and the New Bloomfield and Duncannon senior citizen groups.
She was the widow of Bolick Miedzwicki.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. of Shermans Dale and Edward N. of New Bloomfield; and two grandsons.
Services were held Dec. 8 in her church with the Rev. Bernard Fortna officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

ESTHER I. MILLER
Esther I. Miller, 98, formerly of S. Front Street, Liverpool, died Monday, March 27, 2000 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was born Feb. 17, 1902 in Lenkerville to the late Benjamin and Sarah (Gunderman) Lower.
She was a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She was the widow of Albert S. Miller, who died Aug. 13, 1950.
Surviving are six sons, Frederick of Marysville, Lewis of Millerstown, Dennis of Palmyra and Ronald, Richard and Gerald, all of Liverpool; four daughters, Sarah Reinard, Dorothy Leach and Floranna Leach, all of Port Trevorton, and Nancy Willard of Liverpool; a brother, Guy F. Lower of Hershey; 33 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John and C. Barry Miller; two daughters, Geraldine Lower and Marilyn Schrader; one grandson; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 30 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Peter Beddia officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

FRANK K. MILLER
Frank K. Miller, 80, of Idle Road, Marysville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000 at home.
He retired from the East Pennsboro School District and was a former employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corp., Steelton; former owner of Miller's Body Shop; an Army veteran; and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Marysville.
Surviving are his wife, Miriam C. Gouse Miller; six daughters, Doris Barrick of Duncannon, Esther Rupley and Margaret Varner, both of Marysville, Mable Bartles and Deborah Brown, both of West Fairview, and Kathaleen Leiby of Mechanicsburg; five sons, Charles of Newport, Ralph of Duncannon, Miles of Marysville, Paul of Franklintown and David of Enola; one sister, Margaret Reed of Lewisburg; 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, John and Jeremiah Miller.
Services were held Jan. 6 in his church. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.

HIRAM H. MILLER
Hiram H. "Jack" Miller, 67, of Millerstown RR 3 died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born March 5, 1933 in Millerstown to the late Charles H. and Gertrude (Zang) Miller.
He retired as owner of Millers' Upholstery and was a former employee of Ray Auto Seat Cover Co., Reuben Yeager and Al Tangy; enjoyed horseback riding and showing horses and won a Western Pennsylvania championship in 1987; and was a member of the Palomino and American Quarter Horse associations.
Surviving are his wife, Martha M. Fox Miller; two sons, Jack E. of Lancaster and Jason E. of Millerstown; four daughters, Carol R. Baker of Duncannon, Holly R. Tarr of Millerstown, Wendy Jo Earnest of Duncannon RR 4 and Emma M. Goodling of New Bloomfield; two brothers, Fred H. of Duncannon and Alfred L. of Marysville; four sisters, Doris Kerstetter of New Bloomfield, Fern Yantz of Duncannon, Susan Slagle of Missouri and Janet L. George of Newport; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 27 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. John Shenk officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.

KENNETH I. MILLER
Kenneth I. "Bunny" Miller, 73, of Newport RR 4 died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000 at home.
He was born May 30, 1927 in Mifflin County to the late James and Maufe (Fultz) Miller.
He attended Ickesburg Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, June M. Himes Miller, formerly of Milroy; a son, Kenneth I. Miller Jr. of Elliottsburg; six daughters, Sara J. Hinton of Liverpool, Tina M. Campbell of Millerstown, Rosie M. Campbell and Darlene K. Miller, both of New Bloomfield, Connie L. Miller of Newport and Linda L. Houston of Trafford; a brother, Raymond Miller of Lewistown; two sisters, Genevieve Murphy of Boiling Springs and Helen Woods of Lewistown; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Eshcol Cemetery, Millerstown.

RAY F. MILLER SR.
Ray F. Miller Sr., 91, of Grantville RR, formerly of Marysville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad, TRW and Olivetti; and attended New Life Assembly of God.
He was the widower of Mabel M. Miller.
Surviving are two sons, Ray Jr. of Hummelstown and Percy of Harrisburg; four daughters, Dorothy Reigel of Duncannon, Edna Pletz of Elizabethtown, Elsie Geesaman, with whom she lived, and Esther Lyons of Enola; two brothers, Harold of Polk and William of Duncannon; two sisters, Minnie Lex of Ulysses and Lottie Basehore of Arcadia, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 6, at Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial will be in Eshcol Cemetery.

E. JANE MOHLER
E. Jane Mohler, 72, of Main Street, Thompsontown, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Nov. 12, 1927 in Washington, D.C. to the late Charles and Edith (Adams) Trout.
She was retired from the Harrisburg State Hospital; had been a nursing administrator for several nursing homes; and was a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Daniel A. Mohler.
Surviving are a son, Daniel F. of Youngstown, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Sloan of Statesville, N.C., Edith E. Lesh of Newport and Emily Mitchell of Lewistown; a brother, Clifford Trout of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Gary Bellis officiating. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

KENNETH E. MOOSE
Kenneth E. Moose, 54, of Loysville RR 2 died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000 at home.
He was born Jan. 9, 1946 at Loysville RR 1 to Ruby A. (Harris) Moose of Carlisle and the late Lewis Moose.
He retired as a truck driver from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, New Bloomfield; was employed by Trout Brothers, Blain; had attended Zion United Church of Christ, Blain; and was a member of Blain Ambulance Club.
In addition to his mother, surviving are two sons, Johnny A. of Blain and Gregory D. of Newville; a brother, Gilbert P. "Sam" of Shippensburg; a sister, Nancy J. Comp of Loysville; and a grandson.
Services were held Jan. 29 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. John S. Kipp officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Loysville RR 1.
