He was born December 12, 1928, in McKeesport, a son of John W. and Wilda E. Taylor Rowe.

Mr. Rowe was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was a welder at National Tube in McKeesport and a former member of American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Twila Gallo Rowe; a daughter, Linda Jack of Bethel Park; a stepdaughter, Tammy Horvath of Midway; and three grandchildren.

A son, Paul Joseph Rowe, is deceased.

Helen Rygle

Member of St. Thomas Church, Clarksville

Helen Rygle, 75, of Clarksville, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in Washington Hospital after a yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born February 20, 1929, in Clarksville, a daughter of Raymond and Agnes Brostofsky Cott Votovich.

Mrs. Rygle was a 1947 graduate of East Bethlehem High School.

She was a homemaker who especially enjoyed sewing, cooking and doing things for her family.

Mrs. Rygle was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Clarksville.

Her husband of 51 years, Joe Rygle, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died July 12, 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Rygle Peterson of Cheswick; a granddaughter, Anastasia Rygle; three sisters, Dorothy Mondik of Fredericktown and Harriet Manfredi and Jennie Barwiolek, both of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, John Cott; and two sisters, Catherine Geste and Frances Koba.

Lawrence F. Wagner Jr.

Korean War veteran from Shaler Township

Lawrence F. Wagner Jr., 70, of Shaler Township, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in his home.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret T. Stickle Wagner; three daughters, Bonne and Jacqueline Scarselli and Karla Nicholson; two sons, Lawrence F. Wagner III and Scott Wagner; nine grandchildren, Troy, Dino, Anthony, Lawrence IV, Vincent, Danielle, Darren, Jamie and Ryan; two great-grandchildren; and four brothers, John, Francis, James and William Wagner.

A daughter, Diana Wagner, is deceased.

Geneva June Yater

Member of Calvary Temple Church

She was born October 7, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Howard Wrenwick and Gertrude Allen.

Mrs. Yater was a member of Calvary Temple Church and was formerly employed at River Raisen.

She enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, William Howard Yater of Claysville; a daughter, Tracy Lee McDermott of Washington; two sisters, Betty Paige of Washington and Mildred Boldy of Irwin; two half sisters, Leona Mill of West Alexander and Sarah Mull of Claysville; eight grandchildren, William Christian, Amy Lynn, Ashley Dannielle, Paul Edward III, Martin Paul and Zachary Silas Yater, Katherine Belle and James Robert George McDermott; and five great-grandchildren.

A son, Paul E. Yater Jr., is deceased.

Juanita Morris Bromley

Nurse at Presbyterian Home enjoyed playing piano

Juanita Morris Bromley, 90, of Washington, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, December 7, 2003, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, following a brief illness.

She was born July 9, 1913, in Washington, a daughter of John I. and Elizabeth Jones Frye.

Mrs. Bromley was a nurse at the former Presbyterian Home of Washington for many years. Prior to nursing, she was employed by J.C. Penney Co.

Mrs. Bromley enjoyed playing the piano and participated in music programs at Presbyterian Senior Care. She was an avid collector of hats and spent many hours knitting and crocheting.

She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church of Washington.

Mrs. Bromley was married twice. Her first husband, Ralph Morris, and her second husband, Kenneth P. Bromley, are both deceased.

Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Longo of Fox Chapel and Elizabeth Gloady of Fallbrook, Calif.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers, John A. and Paul I. Frye; and a sister, Alena P. Dicks.

Catherine M. Czarnecki

Formerly of Canonsburg

Catherine M. Czarnecki, 94, of Monroe, N.Y., formerly of Canonsburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, November 28, 2003, in Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen, N.Y.

She was born February 14, 1909, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Stanley and Catherine Stahelek Dobrowolski (Dobrosky).

Mrs. Czarnecki lived in New York for the past nine years, and previously was a longtime resident of Canonsburg.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Genevieve Church of St. Patrick Parish.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Cenderelli of Tavares, Fla., and Gloria Gelletich of Monroe; a sister, Frances Dobrosky of Canonsburg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are six brothers, Walter, Leon, Edward, Stanley, Ben and Chester Dobrosky; and two sisters, Vera Dobrosky and Helen Brodnick.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, December 6 in St. Genevieve Worship Site of St. Patrick Parish, with the Rev. Philip Przybyla as celebrant. Burial was held in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Arrangements were handled by Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg. Helen L. Dorsey

Active member of Fairmount United Methodist Church

Helen L. Dorsey, 79, of Washington, formerly of Prosperity R.D.1, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington, after being in failing health for the past several years.

She was born November 5, 1924, in East Finley Township, a daughter of John Bentley and Nellie Ashbrook Ealy.

Mrs. Dorsey had been a resident of Morris Township for more than 20 years prior to moving to Washington.

She was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church in East Finley, where she was a member of Ladies Aid Society and was a former Sunday school teacher.

She also was a former member of East Finley Homemakers.

Mrs. Dorsey enjoyed flower gardening, the outdoors and listening to gospel music as long as her health permitted.

Surviving are a daughter, M. Elaine Ealy of Claysville; a son, G. Edward Dorsey of Waynesburg; a brother, Carl Ealy of Washington; a sister, Martha Martin of Rushville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael and Gary Ealy and Melinda Ealy Harris; and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are four sisters, Mildred Edwards, Mary and Alice Ealy and Leona Wright; and four brothers, Ralph, Martin, Howard and Gene Ealy.
