Born Feb. 2, 2000, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of James Dwayne and Judene Marie Alleman Dunagan.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Anthony Dwayne Dunagan, at home; maternal grandparents, David G. and Saundra L. Alleman of Greencastle; paternal grandparents, M. Kathryn Starnes of Mid West, Okla., and Floyd D. and K. Sue Dunagan of Oklahoma City; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret E. Alleman of Waynesboro, Pa., and paternal great-grandparents, Gloria Dunagan of New Castle, Okla., and Charles and Vivian Loney of Preston, Ga.; four aunts; four uncles and cousins.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 45 N. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. Stacey A. Crawford will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 45 N. Washington St., Greencastle, PA 17225.

Arrangements are by Miller-Grove Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Charles T. Griffith

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Charles T. "Chuck" Griffith, 74, of 265 N. Carlisle St., Lot 36, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, at the home of his brother-in-law Robert McLucas of 8795 Willowdale Road.

Born Feb. 8, 1925, in Somerset, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul S. and Lizzie Mae Lape Griffith.

His first wife, Wilma Jean Bittner Griffith, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died March 27, 1984.

He was a 1943 graduate of Somerset Township High School.

He had worked for Roof Garden and Auto Supplies, Somerset; McConnellsburg Auto Supply; and at Eastland Motors as parts manager, retiring in 1987.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He attended Cito United Methodist Church, Cito, Pa.

He was a member of Mercersburg VFW Post 6241; Frank L. Carbaugh American Legion Post 373, of Greencastle; and Mercersburg American Legion Post 517.

He was a member of Martin's Mill Bridge Association and Greencastle Senior Center.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Marie McLucas Griffith, whom he married July 10, 1985; three sons, Dennis D. Griffith of Fayetteville, Pa., Terry Lee Griffith of Berlin, Pa., and Donald R. Griffith of McConnellsburg, Pa.; a stepson, Wesley D. Stine of St. Thomas, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Carla J. Kennedy of St. Thomas and Penny L. Misiak of Greencastle; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Griffith and William Griffith.

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg. Chaplain Daniel H. Kelchner will officiate. Military honors will be by Fulton County Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to Cito United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.

Loretta M. Latch

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Loretta M. Latch, 73, of 230 Garman Drive, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born May 13, 1926, in Shamokin, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Perko Campbell.

She was a graduate of Shamokin High School.

She retired from South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain, Pa., as a activities director.

She attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg.

She is survived by her husband, Edward R. Latch, whom she married July 22, 1944; four daughters, Cheryl Fahnestock of Columbia, S.C., Daria Pellegrino, Barbara Buhrman and Anne Benedict, all of Chambersburg; two sisters, Frances Latch and Margaret Kanaskie, both of Shamokin; two brothers, Norbert Campbell of Fayetteville, N.C. and William Campbell of Duluth, Minn.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. Monsignor Thomas R. Brenner will officiate. Private burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic School, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Peggy H. Spitz

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Peggy H. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greencastle, Pa.

She was a member of Homemakers Association and 4-H Club, both of Greencastle.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard J. Spitz, whom she married on Jan. 23, 1939; four daughters, Lynn A. Spitz of Bellevue, Wash., Marilea A. Geyer of Chambersburg, Marian P. MacNett of Troy, Pa., and Sheryl A. Pietsch of Germantown, Md.; two sons, Raymond A. Spitz of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Donald N. Spitz of Lexington, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Bruce Dick Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Samuel L. Martin

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Samuel Lesher Martin, 91, of 16062 Marsh Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at his home.

Born Sept. 8, 1908, near Maugansville, he was the son of the late Amos M. and Amanda Horst Martin.

He was a poultry farmer for most of his life and helped with the work at Harold's Body Shop near Waynesboro.

He was a member of Millers Mennonite Church, where he was ordained to the ministry on May 16, 1950, and served until the last several years of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Risser Martin, whom he married on Nov. 10, 1931; two daughters, Alice E. Graybill of Waynesboro and Rose M. Martin at home; two sons, Warren R. Martin of Maugansville and Harold E. Martin of Waynesboro; a sister, Mabel Eby of State Line, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Millers Mennonite Church near Leitersburg. The Millers Mennonite Church Ministry will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.

Arrangements are by Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, Pa.
