Born Feb. 22, 1926, in Pottstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Millie Elizabeth Blackmon Snyder.

She was the owner/operator of Harryman House Antique Shop, Mercersburg.

She was a member of the Women's Club of Mercersburg and 9-Hole Golf Association of Fountainhead Country Club in Hagerstown.

She is survived by her husband, Chauncey B. Harryman Jr., whom she married in 1952; two sons, Chauncey B. Harryman III of Mercersburg and Robert E. Harryman of Newburg, Pa.; two sisters, Jean E. Reames and Ruth E. Snyder, both of Newville, Pa.; four grandchildren and one nephew.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Trinity United Church of Christ, Mercersburg. The Rev. Milton W. Benny Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, Pa.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg.

Patricia L. McNair

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Patricia L. "Pat" McNair, 70, of 84 Hamilton Road, Chambersburg Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born July 7, 1928, in Los Angeles, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Alethea Homberg Hedtke.

She was a 1945 graduate from a high school in California.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Auxiliary of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 V.F.W. and Hume-McNeal-Byers AMVETS Post 224, both of Chambersburg.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen A. Williamson of Uncasville, Calif.; two sons, Charles W. McNair II of Chambersburg and Randall L. McNair of Fayetteville, Pa., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Harry Hedtke, who raised her as a young child.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Donald C. Nolder will officiate. Private burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

There will be no public viewing.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to American Heart Association, Franklin/Fulton Division, 225 East King Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Rose J. Garnes

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Rose J. Garnes, 99, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, and formerly of 499 S. 4th Street, Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at the Center.

Born in Nov. 6, 1899, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Annie Lightner Croft.

She was a 1918 graduate of Chambersburg High School.

She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, Chambersburg.

She is survived by one son, Bruce R. Garnes, Jr. of Saxton, Pa.; four grandsons, one great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers and memorial donations may be made to Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 201 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Virginia L. Zeis

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Virginia Louise Zeis, 78, a resident of Manor Care Health Services, Chambersburg, and formerly of 209 Colorado St., Marion Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at the nursing home.

Born Sept. 23, 1920, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John A. and Thelma Spielman Walck.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

She is survived by two sons, John C. Zeis, Jr. of Leoma, Tenn., and Stephen L. Zeis of Greencastle; three brothers, A. Richard Walck and John Eugene Walck, both of Greencastle, and Jaye E. Walck of McConnellsburg, Pa.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Chambersburg. The Rev. Gayle L. Ruble, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Chester Fabrycki Sr.

QUINCY, Pa. - Chester Fabrycki Sr., 77, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, Quincy, and formerly of 11724 Furnace Road, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 22, 1999, in the nursing home.

Born Sept. 4, 1921, in Star Junction, Pa., he was the son of the late John Sr., and Josephine Skarzynska Fabrycki.

He attended Catholic schools in the Pittsburgh area.

He was retired in 1983 from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Corp., Hartford, Conn. as an electrician. He also was employed with Rocky Hill Veterans Home and Hospital, Rocky Hill, Conn., as an electrician, then Fairchild Aircraft Manufacturing, Hagerstown, and then Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pa.

He served with the Civilian Conservation Corps, Camp S-59 near Oakland, Md. He then served in the U.S. Army during World War II and with the National Guard during the Korean conflict.

He was a member of Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church, Blue Ridge Summit.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Jane Benchoff Fabrycki; three daughters, Patricia M. Fabrycki, Alexis M. Fabrycki and Wilhelminia Fabrycki, all of Charmian, Pa.; three sons, Edward P. Fabrycki, Sr. of Howard, Pa., Chester Fabrycki, Jr. of Blue Ridge Summit and Victor Fabrycki of Charmian; two sisters, Helen Schiavone and Josephine Looney, both of Hartford; two brothers, Walter Fabrycki and John Fabrycki, Jr., both of Connecticut; one granddaughter, two grandsons, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Antony Attumaly will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery, Fairfield.

There will be no public viewing.

Graveside military services will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Charles M. Nitterhouse V.F.W. Post 1599, Chambersburg.

Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, Pa.
