Born Nov. 5, 1908, in Fayetteville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Carbaugh and Emma C. Carbaugh Lawyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. "Bud" Manns, who Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1972. They were married in 1928.

She was a 1926 graduate of Fairfield High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Waynesboro and Philathia Sunday School Class of the church.

She is survived by one son, Rodney L. Manns of Greenwood, Ind.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Roger K. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

There will be no public viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Avenue, Waynesboro, PA 17268.

Mary H. Folden

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mary H. Jamison Folden, 93, formerly of 104 Anthony Highway, Fayetteville, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab. Center, Chambersburg where she had resided for the last 11/2 months.

Born April 16, 1906, in Thurmont, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie West Jamison.

She was a homemaker for 40 years and in her early life she worked at Wilson College, Chambersburg, Piney Mountain, Fayetteville and Letterkenny Army Deport, Chambersburg.

She was a member of Greenwood Assembly of God Church, Fayetteville.

She is survived by two sisters, Gladys L. Sweeney, with whom she had resided in Fayetteville, and Eva Rock of Shippensburg, Pa.; one brother, Robert K. Jamison of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Douglas W. Baldwin and the Rev. George S. Mouer, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, Pa.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

N. Jean Thomas

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - N. Jean Thomas, 60, of 3483 Mountain Road, Mercersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at her home.

Born Sept. 23, 1938, in Mercersburg, she was the daughter of the late Roy G. and Mildred Pine Gordon.

She was employed at Corning Glass Works of Greencastle, Pa., for the past 11 years.

She was a member of Clarence Armstrong V.F.W. Post 6241 Ladies Auxiliary and Harry Lackhove American Legion Post 517, both of Mercersburg, and Wesley Yeager American Legion Post 606 of Fort Loudon, Pa. She was also a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 1790 of Mercersburg.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Jean Mellott of Mercersburg; three sons, Darrell Gordon, Lewis Thomas and Curtis Thomas, all of Mercersburg; three sisters, Dolly Lynch, Doris Pine and Thelma Pine, all of Mercersburg; one brother, Merle Gordon of Mercersburg and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Gordon and Roy Gordon, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Clayton Memorial Church of God. 6701 Charlestown Road, Mercersburg. The Rev. Paul W. Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Inc., 47 North Park Ave., Mercersburg and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.

Anna M. Stoner

Born Oct. 3, 1903, near Mercersburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel Davis Stoner.

She was a member of Clayton Memorial Church of God, Mercersburg.

She worked as a domestic in Mercersburg area homes for a number of years.

She is survived by several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Inc., 47 North Park, Ave., Mercersburg. The Rev. Paul W. Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Mercersburg.

Viewing will be on Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Clarke P. Lohman

Born June 30, 1911, at Tomstown, Pa., near Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Horace W. Sr., and Inez Heatherlee Lohman.

He was a 1928 graduate of Washington Township High School.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, where he was a member of Crider's Men Sunday School Class and served on the administrative board of the church, 25 years as chairman of the visitation committee and served with the ushers club of the church.

He was a member of Acacia Lodge 586 Free and Accepted Mason, Waynesboro, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Harrisburg, South Penn Scottish Rite Club, Waynesboro Shrine Club, Hagerstown Shrine Club, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Hagerstown, B.P.O. Elks Lodge 731, Waynesboro, Waynesboro Lodge 219 I.O.O.F., North Chapter 739 A.A.R.P., Waynesboro, National A.A.R.P., and a life member of A.T.H.&L. Fire Company, Waynesboro.

He volunteered with Waynesboro Welfare Association, serving as treasurer of the board of directors for 15 years, and is still a member at large. He was honored in 1979 as a life member of Waynesboro Jaycees.

He is survived by his second wife, Emma M. Warwick McIntire Lohman, whom he married in 1982; one daughter, Leesa L. Sipe of Lutherville, Md.; two step-daughters, Rebecca L. Weir and Theresa M. Stroupe, both of Waynesboro; one step-son, John L. McIntire of Waynesboro; one brother, Rev. Robert C. Lohman of Borreggo Springs, Calif.; two grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Eby and two brothers, Ordean H. Lohman and H. Walter Lohman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Lynn D. Trutt will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.

It was his request to have no public viewing.

Mary A. Kazam

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mary A. She is survived by a niece, Debbie Helm, with whom she had resided; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a half brother.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Leroy W. Wiley will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.

Memorial donations may be made to Christian Life Assembly of God Church, 1400 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
