Born July 9, 1938, in Johnstown, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Kovach) Ryan. Preceded in death by husband, Edward Locher Jr., and son-in-law, William Brown. Survived by these children, Dale Locher and Catherine Brown, both of Macon, Ga.; and Ramona Stine, Central City; and five grandchildren. Sister of Shirley Sabo and James Ryan Jr., both of Johnstown. Former employee of Coney Island. Friends received from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the William T. Hindman Funeral Home, Chandler Avenue, where service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Jean Bailey.

SALAY - John Jr.

Born June 13, 1921, in Conemaugh, son of the late John Sr. and Barbara (Dolgos) Salay. Preceded in death by an infant sister; sisters, Mary and Elizabeth; and brother, Charles W. Salay. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, the former Mary Mino; daughter, Barbara, married to William Robinson Jr.; brother, Michael, married to the former Dorothy Kush; and several nieces and nephews. John was a World War II Army veteran serving with military intelligence. He received his bachelor's degree from Indiana Teachers College and his master's degree from Columbia University in New York. A member of PSEA, PMEA, NEA and Holy Trinity Byzantine Church. He loved playing the trumpet and performed with the Johnstown Reed Band and numerous local dance bands. He had a love of music which spanned well over 50 years and also influenced his career decision as a music teacher at Conemaugh Township High School, where he was the band director for many years, and also as a private music teacher. According to John's wishes, there will be no public visitation and service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity building fund. Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., West Hills, is in charge of arrangements.

TODERO - Richard R.

WILSON - Erin M.

Survived by children, Shannon Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Sean O'Brien and Christopher Wilson, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Aiden James, Jordan Wilson and Lacie-Lynn Reighard; sister, Samantha Grodman, New Jersey; brother, Jason Grodman, Arizona; and special friend, Galin Wilson, Johnstown. Family assisted by Alternative Burial Corp., Johnstown. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or visitation. Private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

WYRWAS - Stanley F. Sr.
WYRWAS - Stanley F. Sr. "Stush," 82, of Vinco, passed away on June 11, 2004, at UPMC Lee Regional. He was Born April 16, 1922, in Conemaugh, son of Blaine and Cecelia (Murawski) Wyrwas. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Leonard, Edward, Edmund and Raymond. Survived by wife of 48 years, Catherine M. (Stanislawczyk) Wyrwas; daughters, Karen M., wife of Byron Miller, Johnstown, and Susan A., wife of Frederick Kline, Loretto; sons, Stanley S. Jr., married to the former Holly A. Edwards, Athens, Ala., and Paul F., married to the former Deborah M. Kobal, Vinco; grandsons, Michael, Douglas, Joshua, Nathaniel and expecting another infant grandson; sister, Martha, wife of Joe Novak, Deltona, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Stanley was a member of Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, the Rev. Father Robert C. Hall. Committal will be at Assumption Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. Memorial contributions may be directed to Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church Building Fund, 335 Second St., Conemaugh, Pa. 15909, in memory of Stanley.

DAVIS - Marilyn

Survived by children, Mary E. Davis, Bedford; Patricia E., married to Roger Fickes, New Bloomfield; Robert E. Davis, married to Donna (Roberts), Nassau, Bahamas; James D. Davis, married to Janice (Gohn), New Castle; Priscilla A., married to Steven Hauer, Pavia; Rebecca S., married to Gary Musselman, Alum Bank; Jenny L., married to Dennis Pyers, Carlisle; and Melissa J. Davis, Alum Bank; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Brown, Alum Bank, and Sarah Mills, Bedford, Texas. With her husband, she developed, owned and operated Hickory Grove Park in Alum Bank for 12 plus years. She made donations to various charity organizations and loved helping others. Our beloved mother and friend who touched the hearts of those who knew her. We are blessed and thankful to have had her in our lives. When her Lord and Savior called her home, we are comforted to know that she will never suffer again. Mother, we will be together again one day, along with our father and brother, in the presence of the Lord. Member of Queen Bible Truth Hall. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at J. DROST - Mr. Stephen Paul
DROST - Mr. Stephen Paul "Rocky," 65, of 700 N. He was Born March 3, 1939, in Altoona, son of the late Nicholas and Verline (Hunter) Drost. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Drost enjoyed printing, computers, the Internet, eagles and the American flag. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Surviving are three daughters, Stephanee R. Drost, and her fiance, Bill Caddy, of Johnstown; Mandy L. Drost, and her boyfriend, Don, of Altoona; and Nichole A. Hollibaugh, and her husband, David, of Altoona; three grandchildren, Alexis M. Drost, Peyton L. Drost and David S. Drost; and a brother, Nicholas Drost of Altoona. Mr. Drost was preceded in death by a brother, Ted William Drost Jr. Private viewing and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rocky to Nichole Hollibaugh, 1815 15th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16601.

FISCUS - Lynn Patricia
FISCUS - Lynn Patricia, Born July 28, 1952, in Johnstown, passed away July 31, 2004, in Carrollton, Texas. She was survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Jayne; and brothers and sister, David, Susan and Darren. She was the daughter of William and Jane Hemminger of Johnstown. Lynn was employed for many years by The United Way, and most recently served as president of the United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas and director of Planned Giving and Endowment. She received her B.A. in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.A. in counseling psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Member of the National Committee On Planned Giving, American Society for Training and Development, Leadership Texas, Class of 1993 and Leadership Texas Alumni Association. Opportunity to pay respects and share memories will be at the vigil service and Rosary at St. Rita's Catholic Church at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, at St. Rita's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park. Flowers may be sent to Restland Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas, (214) 978-0000.

Cox, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cindy, Cheryl and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Corie, Angie, Rob and Ryan; and great-great-grandchildren, Devon and Amber; and brother, William Fesko, married to the former Joanne Kleinmeyer, Lancaster. Kathleen was a member of Roxbury Church of the Brethren and the Geistown Senior Citizens. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., West Hills, 921 Menoher Blvd., where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. John Mains officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
