She was Born June 20, 1907, in Patton, daughter of Andrew Sr. and Mary (Dvorchak) Senita. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Butchko Jr.; sisters, Eleanor E. Senita and Anna Dix; brothers, Andrew Jr., Edward and Cyril Senita; nephews, C. Thomas Dix and Robert Senita. She is survived by a daughter, Marguerite (Joseph R. Jr.) Shaber, Vancouver, Wash.; grandchildren, Sandra Sears and John Bersch; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, John A. (Catherine) Senita, Newport News, Va., and Dr. G. Robert (Olive) Senita, Wexford, Pa. Margaret was a graduate of Patton High School. She taught school for over 50 years and retired from Clifton, N.J. Public Schools after 30 years of service. She enjoyed dancing and being with people. She was a member of SS. Peter -- Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Patton, and St. Melanys Byzantine Catholic Church, Tucson, Ariz. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton, where Parastas will be held at 3 p.m. Panachida will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by funeral divine liturgy at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter -- Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Patton, by the Rev. Oliver Hebert, TOR. Committal at St. Mary's Cemetery, Patton. Memorials are requested to the charity of one's choice. (www.stevensfh.com)

LANNING - Mrs. Emma L. Born Feb. 24, 1912, in Windber, daughter of the late Albert G. and Emma (Kinney) Bantley. Also preceded in death by husband, Allan A. Sister of Harriet B. Hayes, widow of William, Johnstown; Estelle B. Dome, widow of Ralph, Lower Gwynedd, Pa.; and George H. Bantley, and wife, former Helen Berger, Pittsburgh. Also survived by eight nieces and nephews and 22 grandnieces and nephews. Aunt Louise will be especially missed by niece, Leslie Shaffer, and her husband, Gene, and family. A graduate of Windber High School Class of 1929 and was a graduate of former Shippensburg Normal School. She was a teacher in the Windber School District for 41 years. Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber, where she served on the Altar Guild and was a greeter. Louise enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the beach and fishing at Pine Lake. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Rev. David Letscher, pastor, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Windber Public Library in Mrs. Lanning's memory.

OLDHAM - Phyllis H.
OLDHAM - Phyllis H. (Bigam), 81, formerly of Johnstown, passed away July 31, 2007, at Collierville Baptist Hospital, Collierville, Tenn. Born Jan. 26, 1926, in Johnstown. Survived by son, Thomas L. Bigam, Hamburg; daughter, Carol R. Bigam, Collierville, Tenn. Also survived by a host of relatives and dear friends. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, the Rev. Jeff Vanderhoff. Inurnment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

RININGER - James Edward

Jimmy was called home to be with his parents, William and Edna (Bell) Rininger; his brothers, Robert, William and Daryl; and his sister, Madeline. He is survived by his loving sisters, Beatrice Jean Rickert, married to Edward, Trevose, Pa.; Joyce Mishler, married to Richard, Feasterville, Pa.; and sister-in-law, Peggy Rininger Mitchell, married to Larry, Johnstown. He was a loving uncle to Tim, Richard, Eddie and Billy, and nieces, DeAnn, Anna and Sandy. Jimmy worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for three years. Member of Ferndale United Methodist Church. Although Jimmy never married or had children of his own, he was loved by all who knew him, especially his family who will never forget him and will see him again some day. Friends received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Pastor John Hollis. Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Stoystown, where military service will be conducted by the Conemaugh Valley Marine Corps Detachment League. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to American Heart Association in James' name.

RORABAUGH - Lola Sue

Born July 21, 1920, in East Taylor Township, daughter of the late William Earl and Pearl Binnie (Gillin) Moose. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Albert Rorabaugh, in 1956, and her daughter, Judy Leitenberger, in 1981. She is survived by children, David, married to the former Carolyn Mease, Annville, and Beverly, married to Dean Schmidt, West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Kevin, Eric and Randy Leitenberger, Mark Schmidt, Kristen Feldmann, Kelly Foster and Nicole Allen; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Helen, married to Glenn Russell, Warren, Ohio; Mabel Partain, McDonald, Ohio; Betty Moose, Johnstown; and Thelma Wilkinson, Hackettstown, N.J.; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1938 graduate of Conemaugh High School, then employed for many years at the Cookie Jar Restaurant and Page Bedding. She also was a member of First Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. She loved cooking for her family, who always came first, and she was known as Mom, Nam or Grandma to those close to her. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., West Hills, 921 Menoher Blvd., where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Roland Catterall officiating. Interment, Headricks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church.

SCHENK-RUDOLPH - Dorothy E. (Stout), 87, of Ebensburg, passed away Aug. 4, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held that evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Church.

UDOUCH - Anthony Edward, 86, Johnstown, passed away Aug. 7, 2007, at Allegheny Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Born Jan. 1, 1921, in Johnstown, son of the late Adolph and Amalia (Rosance) Udouch. Preceded in death by brothers, Adolph, Francis and Jacob, and sisters, Mary, Theresa and Agnes. Survived by wife of 60 years, Betty Lou Swanson; son, Alan Edward, at home; sister, Mollie Brant, Johnstown; brother-in-law, Alfred E. Swanson, and wife, Anita, North Platte, Neb.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Electrical Engineering in 1942. Member of Visitation of the B.V.M. Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Force. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. in 1981. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hindman Funeral Homes -- Crematory Inc., Chandler Avenue, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Barry J. Baroni, celebrant. Sr.; son, James Taylor, married to the former Maureen Mutchler, Richland; stepdaughters, Laura Diann, wife of George Kohan, Richland, and Margaret Jane, wife of Vernon Snyder, Windber; stepson, Charles J. Weyant Jr., and special friend, Donna Flook, both of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Melvin Taylor and Joseph Taylor. Member of Conemaugh Church of the Brethren. She retired from Lee Hospital in the dietary department after 28 years of service. Sarah loved to dance and garden. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Guy Myers officiating. Entombment will take place at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, in memory of Sarah.
