William P. Kinnan
Greensburg - William P. Kinnan Sr., 83, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born March 1, 1918, in Kittanning, a son of the late Roy E. and Mae Schrecongost Kinnan. He retired from Smalis Conveyors in New Stanton, where he was a truck driver. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, David Roy, in 1956; a granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Kinnan, in 1985; two brothers, Clarence and Walter; and two sisters, Virginia and Goldie. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gladys R. Hollis Kinnan of Greensburg; three sons, William P. Jr. and wife, Connie, of Findlay, Ohio, James G. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert E. of Meadow Vista, Calif.; three daughters, Ruth E. of Latrobe, Mrs. John (Tisha) McQueen of Canyon City, Calif., and Mrs. Dennis (Heather) Meloy of Blairsville; two sisters, Betty Miller and Edna Hoffman; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, in New Alexandria. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.

ANNA MATIJEVICH
Anna Matijevich, 86, of Greensburg, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1912, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Eli and Milica Strika Perich. She was a member of Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church, Youngwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Matijevich, in 1962; a son, Eli Matovich; two brothers, Cojo and Luka; and three sisters, Anna, Milica, and Mary. She is survived by three sons, George Matovich of Rillton and his former wife, Doreen Matovich of Yukon, Louis Matijevich of Mt. Pleasant, and Sam Matovich of Norfolk, Va.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Stella Polocosky and Annabelle Perich, both of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m., and continue in Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church, Youngwood, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Father Adam Yonitch Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Youngwood. Pomen will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

ANNA CATHERINE ZRUNO
Anna Catherine Zruno, 91, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born June 2, 1908, in Hannastown, a daughter of the late Stephan and Anna Kuvilich Yusko. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, the Rosary Altar Society and the Living Rosary Society, both of St. Bruno Church. She had been a volunteer kitchen worker for 50 years at St. Bruno Church and a volunteer at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was a member of the Ladies Jednota Lodge Branch 277. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Zruno, in 1969; by a son, Thomas A. Zruno, in 1993; and by two brothers, John and Stephan Yusko. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Herd of Greensburg; four granddaughters, Tamra and her husband, Chuck Wilson, Risa and her husband, Kurt Williams, Toni and her husband, Jeffrey Rankin, and Joyce and her husband, Michael Adamcyk; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Zahorchak of Luxor and Mary Mignogna of Jeannette; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, with the Rev. Blane L. Resko, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township. The Rosary Altar Society will meet at the funeral home Friday at 3 p.m. to pray the rosary. Family suggests memorial contributions to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.

Richard M. Leidy
Trafford
Richard M. Leidy, 92, of Trafford, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, in the Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville. He was born Dec. 24, 1908, in Altoona, a son of the late Calvin and Emma Dearment Leidy. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric, East Pittsburgh, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl McCurdy, and second wife, Angeline Ferline; a brother, George Leidy; and a grandson, Richard A. Leidy Jr. He is survived by a son, Richard A. Leidy of Tarentum; a sister, Vera Dahlstrom of Irwin; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, 429 Duquesne Ave., Trafford, where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jerry D. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Elizabeth V. Crusan Everett
Elizabeth V. Crusan Everett, 70, of Rillton, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born July 27, 1929, in Black Lick, a daughter of the late Edward and Florence Frye Crusan Dunmire. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Oshie Dunmire; and three brothers, Melvin, Jessie and Kenny Crusan. She is survived by her husband, Howard Everett Sr.; and seven children, Donald "Butch" Crusan of Yukon, Virginia Pfrogner and her husband, James, of Rillton, Donna Everett of Greensburg, Howard Jr. of Rillton, Alice Mellinger and her husband, Howard, of Herminie, Mary Everett and Ellen Everett, both of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Dunmire of Saltsburg and Ruth Ader of Slickville. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the funeral home at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

Kenneth J. Miller
Jeannette
Kenneth J. Miller, 81, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at home. He was born in Jeannette, a son of the late Daniel and Pearl Brown Miller. Prior to retirement, he was employed by GenCorp of Jeannette. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his brother, Raymond Miller of Jeannette. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Services will be private. MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette, in charge of arrangements.

Mary Ruth Strain Oesterling
New Alexandria
Formerly of Butler County
Mary Ruth Strain Oesterling, 83, of New Alexandria RD2, formerly of Butler County, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born June 14, 1918, in Penn Township (Butler County), a daughter of the late J. Russell and Margaret Maharg Strain. She had attended the Salem Lutheran Church in Delmont, and was a graduate of the former Carnegie Institute of Technology. Mary was a veteran of World War II, having served in the WAVES. Prior to retirement, she had worked as a home economist and later as a real estate broker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Warren E. Oesterling. She is survived by two sons, R. Eric Oesterling and his wife, Susan, of New Alexandria RD2 and Kurt F. Oesterling and his wife, Christine, of Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Krista Rising and her husband, James, of Amherst, Mass.; and eight grandchildren, Jessica, Abby, Sarah, Lauren, Courtney and Andrew Oesterling and Jessamyn and Lisa Rising. Friends will be received at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Craig T. Hess officiating. Private interment will be in the Brownsdale Cemetery, Butler County.

Mary P. Raczkowski, 88, of Sutersville, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 14, 1913, in Torino, Italy, a daughter of the late Michael and Maria Tappira Ganio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley F. Raczkowski, in 1994; and two sisters, Rose Reggiani and Grace Ganio. She is survived by a son, Stanley M. Raczkowski and wife, Sharon, of Hilton Head, S.C.; a daughter, Elaine Saccani and husband, Melvin, of Sutersville; four grandchildren, S. Michael Raczkowski of Sutersville, Cynthia Pate of Houston, Texas, Mark Saccani of Sutersville and Michele LeChat of Pittsburgh; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton, where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Lyons officiating. Interment , West Newton Cemetery.
