AUGUSTINE CELLANTI
Augustine "Augie" Cellanti, 82, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in the Hempfield Manor, Hempfield Township. He was born July 19, 1917, in Greensburg, a son of the late Salvatore and Genevieve Carlini Cellanti. Prior to retirement, he had been the owner and operator of the "Town Hotel" and "The Pitt" Restaurant in Greensburg, and later had been a security guard for Robertshaw Controls, New Stanton. He was a member of Maplewood Presbyterian Church, Greensburg, the Mt. Odin Golf Course, Robertshaw Acres Golf Course, a life member of the D.A.V., and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmella and Columbia. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Fannell Cellanti; a stepson, Earl W. and his wife, Rebecca Schisler, of Greensburg; a stepdaughter, Judith A. and her husband, James Nicola, of Latrobe; a brother, Louis Cellanti of Greensburg; three sisters, Nicoline Puzzuti of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Flavia Dursa of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dunya Cash of Sumter, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas A. Walters officiating. Entombment with military honors accorded by the Greensburg VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum, Hempfield Township.

MARGARET MARIE COX
Margaret Marie Cox, 80, of Murrysville, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born April 1, 1919, in Dormont, a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Collins Geyer. She was a graduate of Carnegie Tech, and was a secretary for U.S. Steel for a number of years. She was a member of the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville, and the Astrology Club of Pittsburgh. She was a veteran of World War II, having served in the WACS. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Geyer, in 1942; and a sister, Alice Schuster, in 1998. She is survived by her husband, H. Bracken Cox; and two sons, Edward of Austin, Texas, and Hilory of Murrysville. Visitation Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN T. HART FUNERAL HOME, Murrysville. A service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville. If desired, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Western Pennsylvania Chapter, 128 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601.

ANNA M. DORKO
Anna M. Dorko, 85, of Latrobe RD7, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 19, 1914, in Marguerite, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Balaga Straka. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, and its Rosary Altar Christian Mothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dorko; three sisters, Elizabeth Hoffman, Dorothy Closkey and Justine Mayger; and three brothers, John, Joseph and Andrew Straka. She is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Dorko and his wife, Kathy, of Latrobe and David Dorko and his wife, Karen, of Latrobe; two daughters, Agnes Dorko of Latrobe and Mary Kubistek and her husband, Vincent, of Derry RD2; a sister, Veronica Tompko of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Joseph Dorko Jr., Craig Dorko, Kenneth Kubistek, Timothy Kubistek, Kayla Dorko and Kevin Dorko; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Thomas Lukac as celebrant. Interment in St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township.

MILTON H. HERNLEY
Milton H. Hernley, 74, of Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Scottdale, passed away on Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 1999, in Melbourne, Fla. Family and friends will be received at the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, (724) 887-5300, Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. A personalized memorial service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Audrey J. Bell facilitating. Chapel committal service and inurnment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township, with military honors.

EVA JANE FLEMING
Eva Jane Fleming, 93, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Ligonier, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in the Summerlin Hospital, Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1906, in Ligonier, a daughter of the late Thomas G. and Minnie Pearl Fishel Frye. She is survived by a daughter and a son, Charlotte M. Fleming and Thomas O. Fleming, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; a sister, Anna P. Odom of St. George, Utah; and a brother, William David Frye of Ligonier. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Fleming; a daughter, Patricia J. Fleming; two brothers, Orville and Thomas H. Frye; and three sisters, Helen Blasick, May Curto and Gladys LoVette. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a registered nurse at the Connellsville State Hospital. She had been a member of the Christian Church of Waterford. Friends will be received at the J. PAUL McCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, Wednesday from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert D. Cummings officiating. Interment Green Mountain Cemetery, Ligonier.

DONALD R. GAYDOSH
Donald R. Gaydosh, 64, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in UPMC McKeesport. He was born Feb. 7, 1935, in Glassport, a son of the late Steven and Anna Pollick Gaydosh. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a pipefitter and registered plumber for Jefferson Hospital of Jefferson Borough. He also worked at the Volkswagen plant of New Stanton and Westinghouse Astronuclear plant in Large, Pa. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, North Huntingdon, and its men's club. He was active in several trap shooting leagues in the area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Gaydosh. Surviving are his wife, Jean Delfini Gaydosh; two sons, Gregory Gaydosh of North Huntingdon and Robert Gaydosh and his wife, Elaine, of Penn Township; and a sister, Elaine Gaydosh Aiken of Peters Township. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Catholic Church, North Huntingdon.

VALERA B. GETTEMY
Valera B. Gettemy, 82, of Greensburg, formerly of Youngwood, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 29, 1917, in Rostraver Township, a daughter of the late John H. and Harriet Sanders Beck. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Youngwood. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a bookkeeper by Southwest Bank, Youngwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Gettemy, in 1983; two brothers, John Burton Beck and Merlin S. Beck; and a sister, Charlotte A. Butler. She is survived by a son, Scott C. Gettemy of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Karol S. Orner and her husband, Clifford, of Youngwood; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private visitation and service will be held Monday at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, with the Rev. Joseph Kim officiating. Interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.

CHESTER M. GREGOR
Chester M. Gregor, 77, of Latrobe, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at his home. He was born July 19, 1922, in Latrobe, a son of the late Alexander and Lucy (Stepanic) Gregor. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former Vulcan Mold & Iron Co. in Latrobe. Chester was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, became a prisoner of war after being captured during the Battle of the Bulge, and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Thomas B. Anderson American Legion Post 515, the VFW Post 344, the F.O.E. 01188, the White Eagles, a charter member of the Cooperstown Veterans and Sportsmen's Club, and a life member of the Latrobe Volunteer Fire Department Hose Co. #5. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Kolodziej) Gregor; two brothers, John Stepanic and Alexander A. Gregor Jr.; and a sister, Viola Stepanic Porembka. He is survived by two sons, Thomas C. Gregor and his wife, Bernadette, of Columbia, Md., and David M. Gregor and his wife, Deborah, of South Lake, Texas; two grandchildren, Aimee and Mark Gregor; two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Stepanic, and two sisters, Ann Sarady and Genevieve Yourish and her husband, Walter, all of Latrobe; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at noon in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Thomas M. Lukac as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Latrobe. Military services will be held Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home. CHARLES A. KLAVONICK
Charles A. Klavonick, 75, of Manor, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at his residence. Born Dec. 31, 1924, in Pleasant Valley, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Mary (Kravanish) Klavonick. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as an iron worker by International Association Local 3. He was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of American Legion Post 260, Claridge, and the AMVETS in Large. He was also a member of F.O.E. 1612 of Derry, F&AM Shidle Lodge 601 of Irwin, Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh, Syria Temple, Cheswick, and B.P.O. Elks Lodge 406, Blairsville. He was a musician in many local polka bands. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John Jr., Frank and Michael Klavonick; and two sisters, Ann Beiter and Evelyn Mosocco. Surviving are two brothers, Peter Klavonick of Trafford and George Klavonick of Jeannette; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.J. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 140 Race St., Manor, where requiem services will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Shaw Avenue, McKeesport, with Father Dimitri Ermakov officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH.) Interment in Brush Creek Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Westmoreland Hospice.

ANNA M. METHVEN LYNCH
Anna M. Methven Lynch, 94, of Manor, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center. She was born Aug. 16, 1905, in Herminie, a daughter of the late Colin and Mary Harley Methven. She was a member of the Manor Presbyterian Church for more than 60 years. She devoted her adult life to being a homemaker for her husband, the late George R. Lynch, and her children. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and William Methven; and a sister, Mae Lash. She is survived by a son, Robert G. Lynch and his wife, Jeanine, of Export; and a daughter, Norma Jean Kauffman and her husband, Donald, of Greensburg. She is also survived by grandchildren, D. Richard Kauffman and his wife, Sharon, and their children, D. Richard II and Michelle of Butler, Ronald G. Kauffman of Greensburg, James A. Kauffman and his wife, Susanne, and their son, Bennett, of Hunt Valley, Md., Susan M. Lynch of Cambridge, Mass., and Eric R. Lynch and his wife, Rebecca, and their daughter, Briana, of Mansfield, N.J.; a brother, Robert Methven and his wife, Christine, of Macon, Ga.; also nieces and nephews, including a special grandniece, Christine Richards. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Manor Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Donna M. Havrisko officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
