She was born May 3, 1942, in Ardara, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Pedder Novak. She was employed as a waitress at Pitzer's Restaurant in Jeannette. She is survived by her husband, John W. Essway Sr.; two sons, John W. Essway Jr. and his wife, Salina, of San Diego, Calif., and Jasen Essway of Jeannette; two daughters, Lisa Essway of Greensburg and Paula Kubistek and her husband, Steve, of New Alexandria; eight grandchildren, John Essway III, Jerrod Essway, Sierra Essway, Jasen Essway Jr., Taylor Jane Deverse, Jeremy Kubistek, Jessica Kubistek and Jenna Kubistek; five brothers, Bill Novak of Irwin, Stanley Novak of Pitcairn, John Novak of Pittsburgh, Ernie Novak of Monroeville and Al Novak of Trafford; and three sisters, Marti Gray of Latrobe, Dottie Showalter of Gibsonia and Patti Novak of Jeannette. Ferketic, of Indiana Township, on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999. Mr. Ferketic was a building inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of General Services. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou Erdeljac Ferketic; son of the late Michael N. and Mary (Vitunic) Ferketic; father of James M. Ferketic of Jamestown, N.Y.; brother of Lois Netzel of Etna, Bill and Richard Ferketic, both of Etna, and Robert Ferketic of Bowie, Md.; and stepson of Helen Ferketic. Friends received at the FRANK R. Delores M. Fetter Delores M. Fetter, 67, of Ruffsdale RD1, left her earthly home to be with her heavenly father and eternal family, Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. She was born July 11, 1932, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Raymond N. and Hazel Smith Proctor. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wayne Fetter, in 1993; two brothers, Raymond A. Proctor, in 1990 and Terry L. Proctor, in 1999. She was a current member of the Armbrust Wesleyan Church. Her belief in Jesus Christ gave her the strength to survive many difficult times. She was also a member of the Golden Rod Lodge #273 of Youngwood. She retired from Quality Building Services as a cleaning supervisor at Super Valu in New Stanton. Delores will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her. She touched many souls with her loving, gentle ways. She is survived by her very special and beloved son, David P. Fetter of Delmont; a sister, Mrs. William H. (Nancy) Lynch of Hunker; six nieces and nephews, Dale A. Proctor, R. Michael Proctor, Tammy Lynch Brooks, Roy P. Proctor, Wendy Proctor Weightman and Tracy Proctor; 15 great-nieces and great-nephews; and two great-great nephews. Included in those who were dear to her heart is a very precious cousin, who visited her faithfully during her last days, Joann Dixon of Youngwood. Grabiak Leonard G. Grabiak, 69, of Greensburg, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 11, 1930, in United, Pa., a son of the late Joseph and Clara Konieczny Grabiak. He was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, and also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Laurel Vending Co. of Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Grabiak. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Joanne Simko Grabiak; his daughter, Sue Brown and her husband, Bert, of Greensburg; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Gertrude) Michaux of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Grabiak of Mt. Pleasant; and nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Transfiguration Catholic Church with the Rev. He was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Tunneltown, Pa., a son of the late Elmer F. and Ola Pittman Grosklos. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Grosklos of York, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 60 years as of Sept. 2, 1999, Garnet Parks Grosklos; a daughter, Elizabeth Grosklos of Rector, Pa.; a son, Edward Grosklos of San Francisco, Calif.; a grandson, Dennis Kraft of Rector; nieces and nephews. He was a member of the First Christian Church, a life member of B.P.O.E., and the AARP, all of Greensburg. He was retired from Prudential Insurance Company. He was an avid golfer. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be private. Grace Guardasoni Grace Guardasoni, 87, of Irwin, a former longtime resident of Guffey, Sewickley Township, born Dec. 23, 1911, in Smithton, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Maria Zeuch Meneghini. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Barbara's Church, Harrison City. Wife of the late Paul Guardasoni. Survived by a daughter, Lorraine Coy of Irwin; two sons, Lawrence S. and Harry R., both of Sewickley Township; 12 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; two brothers, Howard and Theodore Rittko; and three sisters, Edith Creighton, Alice Zimmerman, and Mildred Wilcox, who just passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9. Rohrbacher, 77, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born April 16, 1922, in Greensburg, a son of the late Oscar F. and Mary Ellen Lynch Rohrbacher. Prior to retirement, he had been the head of the electrical department for the City of Greensburg. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Greensburg; a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army; and a life member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department, Hose Co. #3, where he had held various offices. Also, he was a member of the Pennsylvania State Firemen's Association, Westmoreland County Firemen's Association, the Mohawks Association, and the American Legion Post #981 of South Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy L. Lyda Rohrbacher, on Oct. 6, 1989; and a sister, Florence Gazze. He is survived by a brother, John "Jack" and his wife, Dorothy Rohrbacher, of Greensburg; two nephews, Barrie and his wife, Lisa Rohrbacher, of Greensburg and Nicholas and his wife, Elizabeth Fields, of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandnieces and nephews, Nicole and Jonathan Rohrbacher of Greensburg, and Taylor and Ryan Fields of Knoxville, Tenn.; and several cousins. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edwin J. Fromm officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. The Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department and Mohawks Association will meet at the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m. to conduct a memorial service.
