FRASIER, Patricia
WALTERBORO - Mrs. Patricia Bazzle Frasier, 81, of 317 Seiglers Drive, died Friday at a Walterboro hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the Walterboro Church of God, with Rev. John Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Dam United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frasier was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Henry Bazzle, Sr., and Haley Wasson Bazzle. She was a member of Bedon Baptist Church and attended the Walterboro Church of God. She was the widow of Edward Webb Frasier, Jr., and was a loving and kind hearted mother.
Surviving are six sons, Edward Webb Frasier, III, Riddick S. Frasier, Ronnie S. Frasier, and Sonny C. Frasier, all of Walterboro, Ernest Frasier of Florence, and Johnny E. Frasier of Aiken, four daughters, Rose F. Lawson, Carrie B. Riley, and Kathy F. Colson, all of Walterboro and Patricia A. DeWitt of Williford, Ark., four brothers, Earl Bazzle, Isaiah "Ike" Bazzle, and Stephen Bazzle, all of Walterboro, and Frank Bazzle of Shreveport, La., 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday, at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.

LANDERS, Gertrude
Gertrude Grogan Landers, 78, of Summerville, SC. entered into rest on Wednesday, November 21, 2001.
A native of New Holland, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Erskine R. and Rosa L. Ford Grogan. She was a member of Summerville (SC) Baptist Church. Mrs. Landers retired from a life of Christian service in her home, church, and community.
Surviving is her husband, Carl E. Landers; a daughter, Susan Landers Burns of Birmingham, Ala.; a son, Sidney A. Landers of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Betty Alton of Gainesville, Ga.; a grandson, Michael E. Burns of Birmingham, Ala.; and a granddaughter, Sydney A. Landers of Spartanburg, S.C.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Little-Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2001, in the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.

WESTBURY, Jimmie
HOLLY HILL, SC - Mrs. Jimmie Rhode Westbury, 72, died Friday, November 23, 2001 in a Charleston hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2001 in the Holly Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry L. Phillips, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Westbury was born June 26, 1929 in Dorchester, SC., a daughter of the late Dennis S. Rhode and Lottie Pendarvis Rhode. Mrs. Westbury was a home economics graduate of Lander College and taught home economics in the Holly Hill public school system from 1950-1961. She was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Westbury was a member of Holly Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carlotta W. Norris and son-in-law, Robert R. Norris of Eutawville, SC., three sisters, Annie Bell Weiss of Eutawville, SC., Dorothy R. Franklin of Santee, SC., and Daisy R. Cummings of Holly Hill, SC. and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Truette W. "Red" Westbury; two sisters, Mildred R. Cook and Beatrice R. Hutchins; two brothers, D.S. Rhode, Jr., and Joe S. Rhode.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, November 24, 2001 at AVINGER FUNERAL HOME.

COOPER, Dorothy
MONCKS CORNER - Dorothy Davis Cooper, 58, died Wednesday, November 21, 2001, at Trident Medical Center after an illness.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Hemingway on June 25, 1943, a daughter of Nola Springs Davis and the late Willie Norwood Davis. She attended Hemingway schools and graduated from Macedonia High School. Mrs. Cooper was a former employee of Oneita Knitting Mills and a number of other sewing factories. She was a Baptist.
Surviving, in addition to her mother of Goose Creek, are two daughters, Jo Lynn Cooper of Cordesville and Trisha C. Baylor of Andrews; a sister, Patsy "Pat" D. Hughes of Andrews; and a granddaughter, Amber L. Smith of Cordesville.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2001 at 2 o'clock at the graveside in St. James United Methodist Cemetery near Jamestown under the direction of the Andrews Chapel of MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, November 24, 2001, from 7 until 9 o'clock.

MEGGETT, Catherine
The relatives and friends of Mrs. Catherine Meggett are invited to attend her funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2001 in Edisto Presbyterian Church, USA, 1890 Cypress Bottom Rd., Edisto Island. HOOVER, Mary
Mary Christine Van Horne Hoover, 58, of North Charleston, a prefab concrete restoration specialist, died Thursday, in a Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday in CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Born in Sebring, Florida, she was the daughter of Edward Van Horne and Christine Davis Van Horne.
Survivors include her mother of Madison, Wisconsin; daughters, Mary Christine Chapman of Monetta, Debbie Lee Hoover of North Charleston and Lori Kaye Truluck of Rowesville; a sister, Barbara Van Horne of Madison, Wisconsin and a brother George Van Horne of Belleville, Illinois and seven grandchildren.

ROURK, SR., Lucius
Entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, November 22, 2001, Lucius Hasel Rourk, Sr. widower of Beatrice Smith Rourk. Residence, Charleston, S.C. Mr. Rourk was born December 23, 1907 in Charleston, SC, the son of Lucius Alber Rourk and Burness Smith Rourk. He was retired owner of L.H. Rourk Plumbing and a retired City Plumbing Inspector.
He is survived by two sons, L. Hasel Rourk, Jr. and Burnet M. Rourk, both of Charleston; three grandsons, Mark Rourk, Kevin Rourk, and Keith Rourk; three granddaughters, Jennifer Rourk, Angela Rourk, and Shelby Sullivan; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Rourk, Meredith Rourk, Kyle Rourk, Tradd Rourk, and Logan Sullivan.

Fred Roland Parker, 68, of North Charleston, a retired telephone cable repairman with Southern Bell for 37 years, died Saturday in a Charleston hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of A.B. Parker and Inez Porter Parker. Mr. Parker was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and Omar Temple. He was formerly employed by the Charleston Naval Shipyard and by Camp Lejuene Emergency Maintenance Department as a Plumber/Pipefitter.Mr. Philip C. Hazelton grew up attending Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He remained devoted to this faith.Surviving are his mother, Myrtle Whack Hazelton, one son, Kevin Johnson of Charleston, S.C.; a special friend, Emma K. Frances Hill Marsh, 71, of Moncks Corner, died Saturday at a North Charleston hospital.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in Biggin Cemetery.Mrs. Marsh was born September 25, 1930 in Barnwell, SC, a daughter of James (Jimmy) Hill and Earline Still Hill. O'NEILL, Jeanne
Jeanne Josephine Schmitt O'Neill, 78, a U.S. Air Force wife and civic volunteer, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethesda, Md. She had Alzheimer's disease. Mrs. O'Neill was born Wednesday, February 21, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Herman J. and Helen B. Coyle Schmitt. She graduated from West Catholic (Girls) High School. She married James F. O'Neill, a former minor-league baseball player turned Air Force officer, in 1951 and traveled with him to various duty stations throughout the United States and abroad, including Taranto, Italy and Izmir, Turkey. She was active in the Catholic Ladies Sodality, including a term as President, while living in Turkey. She was an avid Bridge player and belonged to Bridge Clubs wherever she lived. Mrs. O'Neill settled in Charleston, SC, with her husband and seven children in 1966 and lived here until the early 1990's. She was a volunteer at Bishop England High School and St. Francis Hospital. She was a supporter of the Charleston Home for Children and a devout Catholic. Mrs. O'Neill is survived by her seven children, Patricia O'Neill of Norfolk, Va., Jeanne O'Neill of Bethesda, Md., Frank O'Neill of North Palm Beach, Fla., Stephen O'Neill of Table Rock, SC, Michael O'Neill of Jupiter, Fla., Mary O'Neill of Washington, D.C. and Thomas O'Neill of Miami Beach, Fla.; a sister, Margaret (Peggy) Blankemeyer of West Branywine, Pa.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. LIVINGSTON, Janie
With deep regret, we inform you that Janie White Livingston, widow of Julian Frederick Livingston, Jr. passed away on Friday evening, November 23, 2001 at the home of her daughter, following a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Advent Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.Janie was born April 27, 1921 in Little Mountain, South Carolina. She was the seventh child born to Wille Frank White and Mamie Frick White. She inherited a strong Lutheran faith from her large family, and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church since the 1950's.She will be missed by all who came to know her, for her vivacious personality, generous ways, and boundless energy. Her talents were vast. She was an award winning cake decorator and a creative and accomplished tailor. Janie was an avid bowler, and she also loved to travel. She combined these interests taking trips across the United States for bowling tournaments.Never one to dodge a challenge, Janie, with her keen sense of business, retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard Payroll Department, and was a longtime manager of Ashley Lanes Bowling Center. She was a member of the Greater Charleston Women's Bowling Association and was a founding member of Hilldale Civic Club.She is survived by her loving family, daughter Joliene Livingston Bowers and her husband Jerry of Goose Creek, SC.; son, Julian Douglas Livingston and his wife Shirley of Summerville, SC.; five sisters, Lucille Frick of Little Mountain, SC., Rose Campbell, Verna McKain and Evelyn Yarborough of Whitmire, SC. and Mary McDuffy of Mooresville, NC.; four devoted grandchildren, Janie Jeni Bowers of Charleston, SC, Jerry Mitchell Bowers, Jr. of Ladson, SC, Jessica Brooke Livingston and Austin Cole Livingston of Summerville, SC. She was predeceased by sisters, Ethel Dowd and Mildred Dominick and a brother Clarence White. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Advent Lutheran Church, 3347 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.Arrangements by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC.
