The relatives and friends of Mrs. Mary G. Flagler of St. Stephen, S.C., are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday, November 3, 2001, 1 p.m., at Alice Temple Church, St. Stephen, S.C. KUCK, SR., William
Sgt. William H. "Sarge" Kuck, Sr. Ret. U.S.A., 79, husband of Mildred Crosby Kuck of Charleston died Wednesday, October 31, at a local hospital. born June 1, 1922, in Charleston to the late Fritz and Louise Kuhland Kuck. Sgt. Kuck was retired from the United States Army serving in W.W.II, and later retired from Fenwick Hall. He most recently worked at #14 Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store. He was active in the 942nd Army Reserves, Knights of Columbus Council #6250, American Legion Post #0147, and the Good Friends Club. Sgt. Kuck was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. His first wife, Gloria Seel Kuck, and granddaughter, Casey Heisenbuttle, predeceased him. Sgt. Kuck is survived by his wife, Mildred, son, William H. Kuck, Jr., of Delaware, four daughters, Gloria K. Aitken of Utah, Jeannette K. Selan of Virginia, Catherine K. Timmons of Scranton, S.C., and Melody C. Barwick of South Carolina, two brothers, John Kuck of Charleston, and George Kuck of Florida, sister, Mary Peoples of Tennessee, and 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all survive Sgt. Kuck. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 2, at the Church of Nativity on Folly Road. Interment will follow with full military honors in Holy Cross cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 267 Calhoun St., Charleston, S.C. 29401.

VARNER, Dorothy
The last religious rites for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Simmons Varner will be held Saturday, November 3, 2001, 1:30 p.m., at Greater St. James AME Church, Summerville (Cooper Store Section), S.C., Rev. Christopher Smith, Pastor, Rev. Franklin Johnson, Eulogistic Minister. Interment, Grove Hall United Methodist Church cemetery, Summerville, S.C. Her children, Mrs. Christine Evans, Mr. William Varner, Jr., Ms. Anna Mae Varner, Mr. Curtis N. Varner, Mrs. Marion E. V. Linning, Mrs. Rose Myers, Mr. Freddie J. Varner, Mr. Ernest C. Varner, Ms. Evelyn Varner, Mrs. Margaree Limehouse and Mrs. Amy Tucker; sister, Mrs. Calpurter Mazyck; brothers, Mr. Franklin J. Simmons, Mr. Cannon Simmons and Mr. Gus Simmons; request her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to attend with them these last rites. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at Grove Hall United Methodist Church, Summerville, S.C. Condolences may be sent to aaglover@msn.com. BENNETT, Sarah
ROUND O - Sarah Herndon Bennett, 37, of 213 Fennell Drive, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, at the chapel of the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Cooper and Randall Nettles officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Colleton County, a daughter of Ruth Crosby Herndon and the late Romain Herndon. She was an employee of Northside Elementary School cafeteria and was a member of Living Word Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Walterboro are her husband, Greg Bennett, sons, Jeffery Charles Padgett, Greg Daniel Bennett, Jr., and Wayne Keith Bennett, all of Round O, brothers, Ricky Herndon of Ruffin and Ronnie Herndon of Walterboro, and a sister, Miriam Morris of Walterboro.
Memorials may be made to Living Word Church, 1705 Barracada Road, Walterboro, S.C. 29488.

FALLAW, Cleo
Cleo Vera Fallaw, 90, of North Charleston, formerly of Hanahan and Batesburg, and widow of Grady Fallaw died Tuesday in a North Charleston nursing home.
Funeral services will be held this evening, November 2, 2001, at 7:30 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until the hour of service this evening.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2001, at 1 o'clock in Mt. Ebal Baptist Church cemetery, Batesburg, S.C. The family will receive friends at the graveside from12:30 until the hour of service.
Mrs. Fallaw was born on February 2, 1911, in Batesburg, S.C., a daughter of the late Judson Hall and Lettie Kneese Hall.
She attended schools of Batesburg, S.C. She was a retired glove tester with Charleston Rubber Company. She was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church.
Surviving are, one son and daughter-in-law, Vernon H. and Edith Black of Hanahan; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, J.I. Hall of Batesburg; one sister, Clara Mae Brown of Batesburg.

Ms. Gibson is survived by her children, Mrs. Nicole Singleton (Bobby), Ms. Latonya Brown, Ishmar Gibson, and Jasmin Al-Amin, her mother, Mrs. Daisy G. Brown, fiancee, Mr. Macedonia Nathaniel, sisters and brothers, Ms. Julia Campbell, Ms. Kathleen Green, Mrs. Odessa Moore (Randy), Ms. Patricia Smalls, Mr. Bobby Green, Mr. Levon Brown, Mr. Willis Brown, Mr. Earl Brown, Mr. Lorenza Brown, and Mr. Andrew Drayton (Jeanette), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Rhonda and other relatives and friends.
Viewing for Ms. Gibson will be at the William M. Smith Memorial Chapel 2 Radcliffe Street Charleston, SC on Friday, November 2, 2001 from 2-7:30 pm. There will be no family hour.

BRADBURY, Albert
Albert J. Bradbury, 49, husband of Kathleen Battison Bradbury of Charleston died Wednesday, October 31 at his residence. born in Niagara Falls, NY to Richard G. Bradbury and the late Mary Logan Bradbury. Mr. Bradbury was a bio-medical equipment technician, employed with the Medical University of South Carolina. He served in the United States Navy and Army. Mr. Bradbury was an avid lover of his pets and enjoyed spending time with them. He was of the Catholic faith. His mother, Mary Bradbury, brothers, Thomas and David Bradbury all predeceased Albert. His wife, Kathleen, his father, Richard G. Bradbury of Niagara Falls, NY, brother, Timothy Bradbury of Norfolk, VA, sister, Shelia Bradbury of Buffalo, NY and a niece and nephew all survive Mr. Bradbury. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Saturday, November 3 in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 150 Wentworth St. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:30 PM. Masonic Rites will follow the service on Saturday. Burial will be at a later date in Howland Township cemetery, Warren, OH.
