The relatives and friends of Mr. Terry "Chubby" Blake, Sr., and those of his son, Mr. Terry Blake, Jr., mother, Mrs. Bertha W. Blake, father, the late Mr. Ernest Blake, Sr., brothers and sisters, Leroy Williams, Lavinia Richardson, Jerry Blake (Debra), Ernestine Geddis (David), Ernest Blake, Jr. (Dana), Brenda Washington (Richard), James Blake (Carolyn), Carolyn Young, Cheryl Green (Joseph), Robert Blake (Harriett), Annette Blake Sheppard (Ronnie), Jacquelyn Blake (Davy), nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services Thursday, October 4, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at Francis Brown AME Church, 9-11 Ashe Street, Charleston, SC. Interment, Monrovia cemetery. Rev. Charles Singleton, officiating. Remains will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service. Remains to Francis Brown AME Church this evening (Wednesday) at 6:30 p.m. where the family will be receiving friends from 7-8 p.m. Arrangements by WALKER'S MORTUARY "Chapel of Peace ", 3407 Old Pond Road, John's Island, SC, phone 559-0341.

HERNDON, Adell
WALTERBORO - Mrs. Adell Herndon, 93, of 401 Witsell Street died Tuesday at a local medical center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Grace Advent Christian Church with Rev. Wayne Lucas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Herndon was born in Colleton county, a daughter of the late David Craven and Charlotte Bootle Craven. She was a member of Grace Advent Christian Church, where she was a member of the W.H. & F.M. She was the widow of Howard Herndon.
Surviving are her step-mother, Elsie Craven of Walterboro, a son, Charles Craven of Walterboro, a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Mary) Smith of Walterboro, a brother, Oscar Craven of Walterboro, a step-brother, George R. Craven of Goose Creek, four half brothers, Jerry Craven, Donnie Craven, Buddy Craven, and Eldon Craven, all of Walterboro. A half-sister, Pat Duncan of Orlando, FL, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
Memorials may be made to Grace Advent Christian Church Building Fund, 398 Mt. Carmel Road, Walterboro, SC 29488.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Ethel E. Wilder Littlejohn, those of her son, Mr. Levy James Wilder, sisters and brothers, Josephine Webb, Mary L. Singleton, Janie Bell Wilder Thomas, Leonard Andrew Wilder and William Alphonso Wilder, nieces and nephews and other relatives are invited to attend her funeral services Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Promiseland Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2216 Meeting Street. FREIBERG, Frieda
WAUWATOSA, WI - Frieda L. Freiberg (nee Witshouke) died September 29, 2001, at Luther Manor in Wauwatosa, Wisc., at the age of 95 years.
born April 19, 1906, in Green Grove, Wisc. Widow of the late Alfred Freiberg. Alfred was president of the Fond du Lac Abstract Co., in Fond du Lac, Wisc., for 25 years. They lived there until 1985 when they moved to Charleston, S.C. In 1991 they moved to Harrisonburg, Va., to live with their daughter before moving to Luther Manor in 1994.
Loving mother of Joyce (Thomas) Christie of Cedarburg, Wisc., and Alice Stecker of Harrisonburg, Va. Further survived b four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service on Thursday, October 4, at Luther Manor Faith and Education Center, 4545 N. 92nd St., Wauwatosa, Wisc., at 11 a.m., the Rev. Paul Peterson of Faith Lutheran Church officiating where Frieda was a member. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Private interment at Woodlawn cemetery in Plymouth, Wisc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frieda's name may be directed to the Luther Manor Foundation, or St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Charleston, S.C.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Orin L. Edwards, those of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Edwards, brother, Brian G. Edwards, sisters, S. Sgt. Shaunda R. SCHULTZ, Jonnie
Jonnie Renae Schultz, 9, of Schultz Lane, Cross, S.C., a third grade student at Cross Elementary School, died Monday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Cross. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, until 11 a.m., and then at the church from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Jonnie was born August 28, 1992, in Orangeburg, S.C., a daughter of Robert Dale Schultz and Lois Reno Schultz. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Surviving are, her parents of Cross; three sisters, Shannon Dale Lemond of Raleigh, N.C., Virginia Sweat of Morehead City, N.C., and Jessica Lee Schultz of Cross; one brother, William Robert Schultz of Cross; her grandparents, Eartha Mae Reno of Summerville, Robert Ray Reno of Mt. Carmel, Ill., and Annie Law Schultz of Cross; and her great-grandmother, Lois Weaver of Summerville.

McCOLLUM, Billie
NEWBERRY, S.C. - Mrs. Billie Ann Steinkuhler McCollum, 62, of 2309 Armfield Ave., Newberry, died Monday, October 1, 2001, at a Newberry County hospital.
born in Chester, she was a daughter of Mrs. Willie Mae Plexico Steinkuhler of Charleston and the late Albert Julian Steinkuhler. She was a retired employee of Moose Construction Company and a member of Silverstreet Lutheran Church and the WELCA.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Rev. Dr. Robert E. McCollum; her sons, Robert Delano McCollum and Samuel Eugene McCollum, both of Chester; a sister, Lois Steinkuhler Vogles of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Robert Delano McCollum, Jr., and Robert Parker McCollum.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, at Silverstreet Lutheran Church by the Rev. Art Hallman and the Rev. Delano Ricard. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, Wednesday evening, from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Silverstreet Lutheran Church, 120 Long St., Silverstreet, S.C. 29145, or to the Newberry Community Choir, c/o Mrs. Mary Ann Hayes, 106 Shady Lane, Newberry, S.C. 29108.

HAMILTON, James
The relatives and friends of James Hamilton of Charleston, S.C., are invited to attend his funeral service in Hamilton's Funeral Home Chapel, 218 Pearson St., Walterboro, S.C., this Thursday, October 4, 2001, at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Pynes cemetery, Green Pond.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Charleston, S.C., a son of the late Joseph Hamilton, Sr., and Bessie Hamilton.
Surviving are, five sisters, Barbara Hamilton, Mildred Hamilton Solomon, Jeanette Cradler, Terry Theresea McClain and Louvenia Yvonne Hamilton; three brothers, Ernest Hamilton Simmons, Nathaniel Hamilton and Joseph Hamilton, Jr.

FLYNT, Margaret
Margaret L. Flynt, 84, died Monday, October 1, 2001, at her home in Goose Creek. born September 16, 1917, in Savannah, Ga., she was the daughter of Robert Grady and Annie M. Flynt (nee Cushing). Miss Flynt was employed by Wieners Company in Georgia. She was a member of the Summerville Community Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her brothers, James, Robert G. and William C. Flynt preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Charles Flynt, Goose Creek, and four sisters, Annie L. LaBayne, Goose Creek, Marie Geier, Brookville, Md., Eleanor Cave, Sylvania, Ga., and Lillian Crawford, East Avon, N.Y. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday (today), October 3, 2001, at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 17-A, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek.

HINSON, Blanche
Blanche Rhoad Hinson, of Orangeburg, S.C., wife of the late Carl James Hinson, died October 1, 2001, in Orangeburg, S.C.Mrs. Hinson was the daughter of the late Thomas N. Rhoad and the late Neta Walker Rhoad. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Hunters Chappell, Branchville, S.C. She was a retired LP Nurse.Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 4, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Zion United Methodist Church, Branchville, S.C., in the Hunters Chappell Community. Officiating will be Rev. Cathey Griffin. Burial will be in the Zion United Methodist Church cemetery.Survivors include, three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Currence of Charlotte, N.C.; Mrs. Carlene Oldelk of Gary Owen, Mont.; Mrs. Marsha Pooser of Cameron, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Campbell of Camden, S.C.; one brother, Thomas N. Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 2, 2001, Dolores Tanner Wittschen, widow of J. Harvey Wittschen. Residence, Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Wittschen was born in Charleston, S.C., on March 1, 1914, a daughter of John W. Tanner and Annie Wolfe Tanner. She was a retired bookkeeper for Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company. She was a member of the Daughters of America where she served as a National Counselor, Order of Amaranth, and Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, J. Harvey Wittschen, Jr., of Folly Beach, S.C., a daughter, Joann W. Burks of Clearwater, Fla., a granddaughter, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, two brothers, James P. Tanner and John W. Tanner, both of Charleston, S.C., a sister, Mary T. Willis of North Charleston, S.C., and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 1157 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., Charleston, S.C. 29407.
