Lee Alton Reeder

50 year old Lee Alton Reeder of Smithville died Sunday at the residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was a Presbyterian. The funeral will be Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Ben Farr will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. He is survived by two sons, Christopher and Wesley Reeder both of Florida. His mother, Shirley Fisher and his father, J. Alton Reeder both of Smithville. Two sisters, Marlann and her husband Jim Reynolds of Hermitage, Peggy and her husband Oscar Hendrix of Smithville. A brother, Joe Lane Reeder of Old Hickory. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Linda Joyce Spivey

57 year old Linda Joyce Spivey of Smithville died Saturday at her residence. She was a Baptist and a nurse at Riverpark Hospital in McMinnville. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Ivy Bluff cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Georgia Morgan Hale and a brother, David Thomas. Survivors include two sons, Clinton and Brad Spivey both of Smithville. Two granddaughters, Clarissa Spivey of Murfreesboro and Summer Spivey of Smithville. Three sisters, Baunita Wimbely of Woodbury, Brenda Tidrick of Wartrace, and Kathy Carlson of Nashville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that all donations please be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home for funeral arrangements, in lieu of flowers.

Laura Elizabeth France

26 year old Laura Elizabeth France of Alexandria died Thursday at her residence. France was born in El Salvador. She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lebanon. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Buford Bain will officiate and burial will be in Hillview cemetery in Alexandria. Visitation will be from noon until the service on Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Roy Allen France of Alexandria. A sister, Katherine Joy and her husband Shane Souders of Lebanon, and a nephew Owen Souders of Lebanon. Her parents are Joe and Janet Wagner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wagner. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.

James Paul Taylor

84 year old James Paul Taylor of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired welder, and he attended the Mount Herman Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. David Weeks, Martha Wilks, and Dave Carden will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Martin and Movie Mason Yates Taylor; his first and second wives, Earlene Taylor and Roberta Taylor; sisters, Carnell Keith and Elizabeth Young; and a brother, Albert Taylor. Survivors include one son, James Larry Taylor of Hoover, Alabama. One granddaughter, Shannon Taylor. One step-grandson. Two brothers, Solon Taylor and Doyle Taylor of Smithville. Three sisters, Jo Parton of Smithville and Patty Trustee and Barbara Fuson both of Nashville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Lee Homer Miller

79 year old Lee Homer Miller of Smithville died Monday at his residence. He was a retired nurseryman and a member of the New Home Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Virgil Hibdon, Jr. and Mike Clayborn will officiate and burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Annie Vanhooser Miller; sisters, Johnnie Miller Certain and Nettie Johnson; a brother, James Miller; a brother-in-law, Charlie Certain; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Miller; a son-in-law, Author Redmon; and a granddaughter, Christie Miller. Survivors include his wife, Ione Sandlin Miller of Smithville. Daughters, Shirley Ann Miller Redmon, Tammye Carol Miller and her husband Rich McDonald all of Smithville. Two sons, Carlon Lee Miller and Billy Wayne Miller both of Smithville. Grandchildren, Angela and her husband, Chester Williams, Tina and her husband Ron Pascal, Leslie Redmon and friend Chad Hillis, Anthony and his wife April Miller, Jason and his wife Kasey Miller, Jamie Pack and boyfriend Calvin Smith, Jennifer Pack, and Joseph Pack all of Smithville. Nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Darlene Crymes

63 year old Darlene Crymes of Smithville died Sunday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker. The funeral will be Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Pirtle Taylor; a son, Mark Anthony Lawrence; and a sister, Oma Mai Tramel. Survivors include her husband, Billy Crymes of Smithville. A daughter, Louise and her husband Glenn Ferrell of Smithville. One son, Michael and his wife Rachel Lawrence of Smithville. Four grandchildren, Jennifer Pack, Rebecca Lawrence, Steven Lawrence, and Harley Lawrence all of Smithville. Five brothers, Grady and his wife Brenda Taylor, Louie and Nathan Taylor, Joe Lane Taylor, and James Robert Taylor all of Smithville, and Freddy Brown Taylor of McMinnville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in memory of Ms. Crymes to help with funeral expenses.

Gail Vilemont Milligan

56 year old Gail Vilemont Milligan of Smithville and formerly of Mississippi died Tuesday at her residence. She was a Catholic, a retired restaurant owner, and a member of the Am Vets POST #101 and Smithville Ladies Auxiliary. The funeral will be Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville. Burial will be in the Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Rona Vilemont. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Milligan; a daughter, Bridget Gilmore and her husband Brian McIntosh of Waveland, Mississippi; a son, Charles Randy, Jr. and his wife Jennifer Gilmore of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; and grandchildren, Brianna Lynn Gilmore, Joseph Brook Gilmore, Katelynn Gilmore, and Gabrielle Gilmore. Step-daughters, Karen Milligan of Columbus, Ohio, and Robyn and her husband Ken Gilman of Southhaven, Mississippi. Step-grandchildren, Miranda Gilman and Molly Gilman, and a brother, Alvin Vilemont of Covington, Louisiana. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that all donations be made to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, in lieu of flowers.

46 year old James Ernest Gaddes of Watertown died Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Davidson County, a construction worker, and a member of the Jesus Loves You Tabernacle. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Family and friends will officiate and burial will be in the Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Gaddes and grandparents, Ernest and Myrtle Owen and Walther and Emma Gaddes. He is survived by his wife Melba Parsley Gaddes of Watertown. Two daughters, Kayla and Holly Gaddes of Watertown. His mother and step-father, Louise and Turney Shehane of Watertown. Sisters, Debbie and her husband Charles Martin of Watertown, Bobbie and her husband J.B. Hale of Alexandria, and Brenda and her husband, Paul Dorris of Watertown. A brother, Jackie Ray Gaddes of Alexandria. Uncles, Howard and his wife Roberta Gaddes of Watertown and Herschel and his wife Margaret Gaddes of Nashville. Nieces and nephews also survive along with special friend, Louie Simpson. Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown is in charge of the arrangements.

James E. Winchester, Jr.

58 year old James E. Winchester, Jr. of Smithville died Sunday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Smithville Church of God. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Donnie Kelly and Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Banks Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ernest, Sr. and Louise Raymond Winchester; a brother, Ricky Winchester; two sisters, Mary Sue Chapman and Helen Jeanette Winchester. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Winchester of Smithville. Three daughters, Michelle and her husband Tim Lord of Missouri, Jan Marie and her husband Greg Arnold of Woodbury, and Jennifer and her husband Kevin Agee of Smithville. Three sons, Jeff and his wife Meresa Winchester, Ernie and his wife Vanessa Winchester, and Jason and his wife Jennifer Winchester all of Smithville. Thirteen grandchildren and one uncle, T.R. Raymond of McMinnville, and special friend who was like a brother, Jerry Lee Cantrell. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

69 year old Helen Victoria Prichard of Smithville died Tuesday at her residence. She was a housewife and affiliated with the Protestant Church. The funeral will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Shane Smith and Trent Colwell will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Mary Kinder Albu; a daughter, Pamela Kay Prichard; a son, Norman Vincent Prichard; and a great grandchild, Austin Rose. Survivors include her husband, Walter Prichard of Smithville. Children, Connie and her husband Chris Jolley of Smithville, Judy Rose of Lebanon, Charles Prichard of Florida, and Grady Prichard of Smithville. Grandchildren, David Wayne Barker, April Cutliff, Jean Dimas, Vicki Miranda, Sabrena Rose, Shawn Rose, and Samantha Rhodes. Eleven great grandchildren. One sister, Bertha Moore of Smithville and numerous nieces and nephews. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Lazarus House Hospice.
