Nichols, John Ferrell Sr., age 77, South Knoxville, passed away November 1, 1998. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and a former Deacon of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired crane operator at Union Carbide, Lockheed-Martin and TVA. He was once active and still much beloved in local metaphysical groups. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Sealand Nichols.
