Thornhill, E. "Priscilla" age 55 of Knoxville, passed away on Friday September 3, 1999 at the St. Mary's Residential Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Retired from the Kroger Company. Member of First Baptist Church of Fountain City. Preceded in death by mother and father, Gracie & Dexter Walker, sister Lyllis Nan, nephew Greg Fielden. Husband: Clarence E. Thornhill Funeral service 8:00 P.M. Saturday in LYNNHURST-GREENWOOD CHAPEL with Rev. Mark Williams, Rev. Doug Fielden, and Rev. Larry Beeler officiating. Interment 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers. The family would like to express gratitude to all the family & friends who helped during her illness. Special thanks to Kippi Hamilton and St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral service 8:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 1999 at Berry Chapel with Dr. Ted Taylor & Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Interment 2:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Wes, George, Rex, Dan and Charlie; sisters, Rebecca Watson, Nettie Caughron, Flossie Thomas and Nina Fleming. Survived by wife: Madge Ford Fleming; daughters & sons-in-law: Harriet & Kenneth Clabough of Greenback, Ruth & Eddie Stooksbury of Alcoa; grandchildren: Darrel & Mark Clabough, Shannan Stooksbury, Todd, Joel & Brittnie Stooksbury; 5 great grandchildren; brother: Ben Fleming of Florida; sister: Emma Tinker of Maryville; several nieces & nephews. Graveside service 10:00 AM Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Russ Maples officiating. Those who wish may make donations to Rockford Baptist Church, Rockford, TN 37853. Retired District Parts Manager for Volkswagen of America. Preceded in death by parents Talmage and Ina Knowling Rawls, brother Carlton T. "Red" Rawls,and sister-in-law Nancy Lou Talley Rawls. Deborah Gail Foust Stripling

Stripling, Deborah Gail Foust, age 48, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 1999 at her home. She attended Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer for the Knoxville Police Dept. and a teachers assistant at South Doyle Middle School. Survived by husband: Stephen Stripling; mother: Betty Foust; aunts: Mildred Haggard and Patsy Fletcher all of Knoxville. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 PM Saturday, September 4, 1999 at Lake Forest Presbyterian Church with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, Rev Kirk Werner officiating.
