Wife: Wendy Brown Graveside service 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by East Tennessee Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. 2300 W. Adair Drive.

Dorothy Leah Patrick Roberts

She was a lifetime member of South Knoxville Baptist Church and a retired executive secretary with Foote Mineral Co. with 23 years of service and later became associated with Kerns Bakery for 10 years. Preceded in death by husband: Clarence L. Cole; parents: Mr. & Mrs. O.L. Montgomery. Niece: Louise Blair - Knoxville Graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. Walter Isley and Rev. Charles Justice officiating. Clarence G. (Jerry) Burnette

Burnette, Clarence G. (Jerry), of South Knoxville, died at his home Sunday, March 19, 2000 after a lingering illness. He was a member of the former South High School Varsity Basketball team and a graduate of the old Knoxville Evening School. Mr Burnette also graduated from the University of Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. A former longtime resident of the Rocky Hill Community, Mr. Burnette coached girls' softball at Rocky Hill Park and worked for both the Fox Den and Willow Creek Golf Clubs. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Flora Nash Wilkinson and Raymond H. Nash, a Knoxville fireman killed in the line of duty; step-grandfather, Gene Wilkinson; paternal grandparents, Albert and Grace Burnette; father, Clarence L. (Jack) Burnette; half-brother, Kenneth Burnette. Wife: Sandra Griffin Burnette Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Highland South Cemetery, Rev. Jack Arwood officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene Reece, Harvey Lee, Ronnie Griffin, Jim Griffin, Travis Griffin, and Brad Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Sharp and Roman Sharp. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
