Wednesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Little Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.

Hattie 'Ruth' Smith

Smith, Hattie "Ruth", age 92, of South Knoxville, passed away January 1, 2001 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Meridian Baptist Church. Taught school for several years in North Georgia. Preceded in death by husband, James L. Smith, Sr; several brothers and sisters. Son and daughter-in-law: James L. and Ann Smith Graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday, Woodlawn Cemetery, Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.

Aaron Michael Hodges

Aaron Michael Hodges, age 28, of Sevierville and formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008. He grew up on Wellington Drive in the Dean Hill Neighborhood and attended Second Presbyterian Church with his family. He graduated from West High School in 1997, and attended Tennessee Tech University where he was a member of the marching band. He was a long-time employee of Circuit City, having worked in car audio and video installation in all of the Knoxville stores. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Lilly Hodges of Seymour and Dr. Robert and Ellen Broady of Sevierville. Survivors: Parents: James and Barbara Hodges; Brother and sister-in-law: Steven Broady Hodges and wife Kandi; Sister: Anna McChesney Hodges all of Sevierville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to an animal shelter or animal rescue of your choice. Family and friends will meet 10:30 AM Friday at Boyd’s Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Aaron’s great uncle Rev. W.A. Galyon will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
