Emma Nancy Haley
Emma Nancy Haley, 83, of Springfield, died Thursday, April 3, 2003.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Wilbur Powell officiating.
The interment followed in the Bellwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Haley was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Robertson County, to the late Robert Moulton and Emma Addie Haley.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Haley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carmack Haley, a son, Billy Haley, daughters, Margaret Haley, Emma Jean Haley and Tina Haley.
Survivors include sons, Edward Haley Jr. of Old Hickory, Robert Haley of Dover, Donald Haley of Nashville, Roger Haley of Cedar Hill and Larry Wayne Haley of Adairville, Ky.; a daughter, Louise McIntosh of Adairville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Brandi Nicole Kessinger
Brandi Nicole Kessinger, 21, of Springfield, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Jodi McCullah and Billy Wayne Dorris officiating.
The interment followed in Memorial Gardens.
Brandi was born Jan. 14, 1982, in Robertson County.
She was a member of the Wartrace United Methodist Church and was a graduate of the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include her mother, Donna Baggett Kessinger of Springfield; father and step-mother, Keith and Cindi Kessinger of Springfield; a brother, Brandon Isabell of Springfield; grandparents, Tommy and Ruth Baggett and Richard and Phyllis Kessinger, all of Springfield; a step-brother, John Goff of Greenbrier; a step-sister, Angel Rashid of Chapmansboro; a great-grandmother, Rosa Olmstead of Williamsburg, Ky.; uncles and aunts, Mike and Michelle Baggett, Joe and Cathy Kessinger, and Jim Kessinger, all of Springfield; a great-great-aunt, Bessie Roberts of Williamsburg, Ky.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Robertson County Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Nannie Hailey
Mrs. Nannie Hailey, 82, of Nashville, died March 31, 2003.
Funeral services were held at the Church of God in Springfield with Bishop Jerry Gordon and Bishop Boyd Kinzer officiating.
Burial followed at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill.
Survivors include three nieces, Julia Cobbs of Springfield, Mary Chamberlin of Nashville, Linda Hill of Fayetteville, N.C.; a devoted friend, Sister Alexander of Nashville.
Parham Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.

James Carl Scott
James Carl Scott, 74, died April 2, 2003.
Funeral services were held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House Friday, April 5 at 3 p.m. with Bro. Clayton Hall officiating.
Interment followed in Providence Cemetery, Franklin, Ky.
Survivors include sons, Carl Scott and Jerry Scott and step-son, Thomas Rippy; daughters, Linda Dodson, Brenda Foster, Barbara Jones, Judy Gorky; a brother, Dean Scott; a sister, Nell Jones; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, was in charge of arrangements.

Hattie May Young Fugate
Hattie May Young Fugate, 92, of Nashville Road, Adairville, Ky., died Monday, March 24 at her home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27 at 1 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Home, Russellville with Bro. Carl Freudenthal, Bro. Terry Tipton, and Bro. Bradley Rodgers.
Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Morrison, Chadwick Appling, Jeff O’Brien, Jim Fugate, Rhea King, Greg Robey, Lee Robey and Stephen Lawrence.
She was born in Logan County, Ky., Aug. 2, 1910, to the late John Edward Young and Mary Frances Bennison Young.
She was a member of the Adairville Baptist Church, the Adairville Homemakers and the Logan Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her husband, M.H. Herman “Jack” Fugate, sisters, Agnes Audas, Grace Epley and Lucille Dewees and brothers, Earl, Walter, Richard and Wilbur P. Young.
She is survived by her son, Marion Herman Fugate Jr. of Adairville.
Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

James W. Henderson
James W. Henderson, 67, of Springfield, died March 31, 2003.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Temple in Springfield with Elder Charles Cantrell officiating.
Burial followed in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Exie Mae Gray Henderson.
Survivors include three sons, John H. Henderson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Terrence and Troy Woodard of Springfield; two daughters, Daphen Mayer of Memphis, and Shonderla Freeman of Nashville; two brothers, Dr. A. Lee Henderson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tommy Watts of Duncanville, Texas; three sisters, Dorothy Moore Ardmore of Oklahoma, Aretelia Wilson of Little Rock, Ark, Ora Dee Jenkin of Dallas, Texas; a host of relatives and friends.
Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Patrick Nixon
Marine Cpl. Patrick Nixon, 21, died March 23, 2003, in Iraq.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m..
Funeral services for Cpl. Nixon will be conducted Tuesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at the College Heights Baptist Church, 2100 Nashville Pike in Gallatin, with Dr. Larry Gilmore officiating.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., Thursday, April 17 at 10 a.m. with full military honors.
Cpl. Nixon was a member of the Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines based out of Camp Lejune, N.C.
Because of his actions in combat, Cpl. Nixon was awarded the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Survivors include his parents, David and Debra Nixon of Gallatin; a sister, Ginger and husband Herman Ford of Gallatin; brothers, Joe and wife Wendy Nixon of North Carolina, and Billy Hudson of Indiana; grandmother, Mary Nixon of Moreland, Ga.
The family requests memorials, in the form of donations, be made to the Patrick Nixon Fund, which has been set at the Banc of America Investment Services, 345 E. Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075.
