Peggy Lou "Nanny" Scott
Funeral service 10:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Point Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Duke officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Scott, Aaron Knopf, Brett Feauto, Zach Scott, Nick Anderson and Phillip Prestininzi.
Visitation 2:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM Saturday at Point Pleasant Church.
She was born in Jackson, TN to the late Dossie and Ada Brooks Stanfill. On October 1, 1964 she married Jerry Scott, he survives in Springville, TN.
Survived by a daughter: Peggy "Lynn" (Brett) Anderson, Burlington, IN; son: Gerald (Dana) Scott, Paris; sister: Faye Russom, Kenton; grandchildren: Jennifer Scott, Jacqueline Scott, Aaron (Ashley) Knopf, Ashley (Brett) Feauto, Nicholas Anderson, Jacob Scott and Zach Scott; great-grandchildren: Lucas and Lailah Knopf.
Preceded by a son Spencer Wesley Scott and a brother Ernest Stanfill.
Nanny was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist church, loved to yard sale and was employed by the Department of Children Services in Henry County.

Phillip Herbert Snow
Phillip Snow, 82, Paris, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his residence. Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 14, with the body to be cremated. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He married Sue Watkins Snow and she survives with five daughters, Kathy Wimberley, Eminence, Ky.; Beverly Anderson, Cyndi Weldon, Suzy Smith, and Patsy Medlock, all of Paris; four sons, Eddie Snow, Puryear; Danny Snow, Glenn Oak, NY; Roland Knowle, Henry; two sisters, Lera Jane Sykes, Paris; and Blanche Stewart, Paris; plus numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
He owned and operated Snow's Alternator in Paris and was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Henry Co. Rescue Squad.

Daniel Richard Hart
Dan Hart, 56, Paris, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
He married Vickie Royett Hart, who survives with a daughter, Angela Owen, Dresden; son, Brant Petty, Virginia; three sisters, Robin Spencer, Linda Thompson and Cathy Hoffmaster, all of Virginia; and three brothers, Mike Hart, Jeff Gerber and Bryan Gerber, all of Virginia.
He was a Paris Landing State Park maintenance employee.

Linda Key Riggins
Linda Riggins, 64, Paris, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Henry County Healthcare.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walker Cemetery. Friends may call at McEvoy Funeral Home from 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Byron Owen
Funeral service 2:00 PM Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Maley Davidson, Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church and Bro. David Alan Jackson, Cottage Grove Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Larry Woodard, Jack Woodard, Kevin Owen, Mike Owen and Steve Jackson.
Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM Saturday and after 12:00 PM Sunday.
Born in Gleason, TN to the late Henry W. and Mattie Vaughn Owen. On July 24, 1967 he married Betty Jackson Owen, she survives, Paris, TN.
Survived by a daughter: Kelly Owen (Philip) Makes, New York City; sisters-in-law: Joy Greengrass and Charlotte Jackson both of Buchanan, Dene Bennett, Como, TN, Ludene Owen, Paris; brothers: Gordon Owen, Paris, James (Neva) Owen, Lansing, MI; brother-in-law: Guy Wiggins (Liz) Jackson, Macon, GA.
Preceded by sisters: Geneva McClure, Naomi Woodard, Marjorie Heath, Sarah McGuire, Joyce Morris; sister-in-law: Delores Allen; brother: Harold Owen; brothers-in-law: David Hugh Jackson and Toy Lee Jackson.
Byron was a member of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church, graduate of E.W. Grove High and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

Marguarite "Marg" Stevens
Funeral services for Marg Stevens will be held graveside at Maplewood cemetery in Paris, Tennessee on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M.

Earl Ellis
Earl Ellis, 76, Paris, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Jackson Madison Co. Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
He married Ruth VanCleave Ellis and she survives with three daughters, Liz Inman, Bowling Green, Ky.; Diane Cooke and Brenda Scheffler, both of Lansing; two sons, Ricky Evans, Dresden and Edward Ellis, Alamo, Tenn. a sister, Lena Morgan and a brother Bob Ellis, both of Paris.
He was a retired mechanic at Spinks Clay Co.

Annette Nedra Bratton
Annette Bratton, 75, Paris, died June 27, 2012 at Henry County healthcare Center. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at Walker Cemetery. Ridgeway Funeral Home has charge of services.
She married Clarence Bratton and he died in 2003. Survivors are a daughter, Gail Duke, Paris; two sisters, Sandra and Delores of Michigan; a brother, Lawrence of Michigan and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Robert E. Lee Gordon Sr.
Robert Gordon, 80, died at his home in Paris June 26, 2012. Memorial graveside services will be held at Memorial cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday.
He married Annie Miller Gordon and she died in 2005. He retired from the U.S. Army with many honors. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired from Emergon Electric.
He is survived by a daughter Angela Lemonds, Cottage Grove, a son, Bobby Gordon, South Fulton, Tenn., and several brothers and sisters from Georgia and South Carolina.

Latane Collins
Mary Latane Pipkin Collins, 82, Paris, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Paris Healthcare. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
She was married to W.C. Collins, who survives with two daughters, Theresa Rushing, Par8s; and Charlotte Bursi, Memphis, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a long-time Henry County Democratic Women official. She was a member and elder at Oak Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she reorganized the youth program and taught. She formerly worked at the Clippard Plant and Holley Carburetor.

Johnny Gaddy
Johnny Gaddy, 57, Camden, formerly of Paris, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Jackson-Madison Co. Hospital.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Walker cemetery in Cottage Grove. No visitation is scheduled at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Alma Crouch
Alma Crouch, 84, Paris, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Plumley Rehabilitation.
Funeral services are in the charge of Ridgeway Funeral Home and will be announced later.

Larry Bryant Belew
Larry Belew, 73, Paris, died at his residence Friday, June 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. He will be cremated.
He married Jackie Pinson Belew, who survives with a son, Sheriff Monte Belew; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley.
He worked at Paris Manufacturing Co. and retired from Porter Cable in Jackson.
Memorials may be directed to Caring Hearts, P.O. Box 1030, Paris, or Sulphur Well Church of Christ Scholarship Bund, 1760 Oak Grove Rd. S, Springville.

Wanda Fay Prater
Wanda Prater, 52, Paris, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Henry Co. Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Huntingdon.
She attended West Wood Pentecostal Church, Paris.
Survivors are a sister, Ann Brown, Paris; two brothers, Joe Barnhart, Jackson; and Paul Newscome, Huntingdon.

Willie Mae Bruce
Willie Mae Bruce, 94, Paris, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Paris Healthcare. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, at Holy Gross Catholic Church, with burial in Whiteville, Tenn. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
She married William Bruce, who died. Survivors are two daughters, Gloria, Goldsboro, N.C.; Linda, Ore City, Texas; two sons, Glenn, Paris; and Carlton, Sandy, Ore., along with several grand and great-grandchildren.
