Margaret Ann Hart
Margaret Ann Hart, 87, Paris, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 24 at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery.
She married Thomas Loyal Hart and he died in 2000. She was a member of the West Wood Pentecostal Church of God and formerly worked at Salant and Salant Co., Paris. She loved her homeland of England and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Stack of Paris; Sandra Rowland of Color; three sons, Barry, Alabama and Bary and Stephen of Paris; a sister, Annie Rexwinkel of England, numerous grand and great-grandchildren and very dear friends, Chris and Sharon Northam of Paris and Robert and Jennifer Stephens of Paris.

Jerry Howard
No service is scheduled at this time.
He was born in East St. Louis, IL to the late Edward Granville and Ruby May Wilson Howard. On December 8, 1971 he married Myrtle Elizabeth Whitehead Howard, she preceded January 3, 2002.
Survived by a son: Russell (Rhonda) Howard, Paris, TN; grandchildren: Dustin Lee Howard, AZ, Kayla Dotson, Jessica Underwood, both of Buchanan, TN, Randall and Michael Earheart, both of Dover, TN; great-grandchildren: seven; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded by a sister Leena Vincent.
Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.

Justin Travis Carter
Funeral service 11:00 AM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Banks of the VanDyke Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at the VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Dustin Ruddle, Garrett Vinson, David Gellis, Zach Atkins, Mitch Lawrence and Tyee Hart.
Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday until service time.
Survived by his parents: David (Denise) Carter, Paris, TN and Marquita Lee Carter, Paris, TN; sister: Kayla (James) Marrs, Paris, TN; step-sister: Michelle (Ryan) Odle, Big Sandy, TN; brother: Shawn Carter, Paris, TN; grandmother: Jo Anne Manning Carter, Paris, TN; grandparents: Charles and Linda Lee, Paris, TN; aunts: Mary Anne (Terry) Wilkinson, Paris, TN, Debbie Andrews, Paris, TN; uncles: Train (Anna) Lee, Paris, TN, Gary (Brenda) Deeter, Medina, TN; niece: Jenna Odle, Big Sandy, TN; nephew: Carter James Marrs, Paris, TN also survived by close friends, the pallbearers and Tyler Atkins.
Preceded by his grandfather: Roy V. Carter, November 20, 2011.
Justin was a video gamer on the Xbox and loved to play the guitar. His close companion was his German Shepard, Gracie.

Susan Nelson Taylor
Susan Taylor, 80, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Carolina Meadow in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Born and raised in Paris, the daughter of John and Mary Sue Nelson, she graduated from Grove High in 1949, attended college in Virginia and received a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt.
She owned and operated Tailored Home Sales and EZ Car Wash in Paris.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Guttmann of Florida and Ellen Turley of Nasvhille and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Paris. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the W.G. Rhea Library and the ASPCA.

Kirkham Ford
Kirkham Ford, 95, Paris, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Paris Healthcare. Memorial services at noon Sunday, May 27, at First Christian Church.
He married Jean Ford and she in 1991. He was a member of the U.S. Army WWII and was a retired writer-editor for B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co.

Justin Carter
Justin Carter, 16, Paris, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home, with burial at VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery. Calling is at McEvoy from 6-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

William James Denham
William James Denham, 82, Springville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. A Service of Rememberance will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Point Pleasant Baptist Church, with cremation to follow.
He married Clara Yoder Denham, who died in 2004. He was a former owner and operator of a trucking business and was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda McDowell, St. Cloud, Fla., Robin Haggerty, Torrance, Calif.; a son, Bill Jr., Springville; a brother, David Denham of Ohio, plus numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Mildred Louise Allen
Mildred Allen, 62, Paris, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at Memorial Cemetery.
She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ and was a retired nurse.
Survivors incluce her mother, Louise Anderson, Paris; sister Mary Wright, Paris; four brothers, Clifford Anderson, Paris; Earl Anderson, Georgia; Rainey Anderson, Georgia; and Carl Anderson, Paris.

Carrie Elizabeth Sandoval
Carrie Sandoval, 89, Paris, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her residence in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with burial at Memorial Cemetery.
She formerly worked at Brown's Grocery in Paris.
Survivors inclu de three daughters, Judy Faust and Ann Cote, both of Jackson; and Brenda Wyrick, Mich.; a son, Mark Sondoval, plus numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Verlie Betty Davidson
Betty Davidson, 89, Paris, died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Henry County Meeical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after noon Sunday.
She was a homemaker and worked at the 641 Club in Puryear.
She married George Davison and he died in 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Eichner, New Jersey, plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara Loer
Barbara Jane Loer, 78, Paris, died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at her resident. The body will be cremated.
She was a commercial artist for many years in Houston, Tex.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Fincher, Linda Filligim and Nancy Reeves, all of Paris; a sister, Jean Morrison, Cranberry Twp., Pa., a brother, Fredrick Loer, Calif.; plus several grand and great-grandchildren.

Edna "Bea" Baker
Service 3:00 PM Sunday at the Henry Baptist Church, Bro. Paul Merwin will officiate with Ron Lowe, Jimmy Waddell, Sam Baker, Bill Baker, Joe Lipps and Clifton Cruse serving as pallbearers.
Visitation 4:00 - 6:00 PM Saturday at Henry Baptist Church and on Sunday beginning at 1:30 PM until time of service.
She was born in Mansfield, TN to the late William B. and Florence Lee Hogg Lowe. On March 18, 1939 she married James W. "Shorty" Baker, he preceded October 27, 1991.
Survived by a daughter: Wilma (Berry) Zeigler, Paris; grandchildren: Robin Ownby, Kim (Tim) Smith, William Joseph "Mac" (Leslie) McCuiston, James Zeigler, Amanda (Alan Armstrong) Zeigler; six great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded by a daughter: Patsy Baker; sisters: Lillie Mae Lowe Winsett, Hattie Lowe Waddell; four brothers: Fleetwood, Clifford, Harold and James Lowe.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Henry Baptist Church for over 65 years, where she was involved in W.M.U. as well as leading or instructing Christian education classes.
Memorials may be made to : Henry Baptist Church, c/o Bea Baker Youth Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 248, Henry, TN 38231.

Martha Day
Service to be conducted later in Forrest City, AR.
She was born in Walls, MS to the late Tom H. and Beverly McKnight Tarver. In 1938 she married Hugh C. day, Sr., he preceded January 19, 2010.
Survived by a daughter-in-law: Betty Day, Springville, TN; son: Tom (Pam) Day, Broomfield, CO; brother: Tom (Helga) Tarver, Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded by a son Hugh Day, Jr., June 10, 2011 and a sister Mary Tarver Megel.
Mrs. Day was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis and she loved to travel.
