Rick Adams
Ricky David “Rick” Adams, age 57, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Bossier City, LA.
He was married May 12, 1990 to Tracy Jones Adams and she survives. Rick attended Point Pleasant Baptist Church.
He was a Truck driver for the last 13 years currently driving for Milan Express for 10 years.
He enjoyed driving, fishing, hiking, being outdoors, bowling, swimming, playing all kinds of games with his family and anything to do with history.
Rick was born January 10, 1958 in Cumming, GA to the late Sherman Lamar Adams and the late Mildred Samples Adams.
Besides his wife, he is also survived by his One Daughter, Brandy Wayne of Georgia; Two Sons, Dakota Adams of Puryear, Tenn, David Adams of Georgia; One Sister, Janice (Aaron) Gee of Georgia; One Brother, Randy Adams of Georgia; Grandchildren, Josh Adams, Angelica Phillips, Delaney McDaniel, Mandy Wayne, Cheyanne Wayne, Quintin Wayne, and Shane Watkins; Great Grandchild, Aiden Wayne; and Mother-in-law, Marie Jones of Springville, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 1 – 4 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Larry Dukes will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.

Wallace Phillips
Wallace V. Buck Phillips, 1SG, US Aarmy, age 89 of Paris, died on Friday March 6th at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a Veteran of the US Navy Seabees and US Army, Field Artillery of 24 years, serving in WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Visitation will be after 11am at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hillcrest memorial Park.

Geneva Valentine
Geneva Valentine, age 90, of Puryear, Tenn., died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
Geneva married Ralph John Valentine December 21, 1942 and they were married for 62 years until he preceded in death April 16, 2004. She was raised in the Hico Community where she worked on the family dairy farm and was a homemaker. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1942.
She was born November 16, 1924 in Farmington, KY to the late Everett Mitchell Barrett and the late Fannie Lou Wheeler Barrett.
She is survived by her Two Daughters, Brenda (Steve) Wigdor of Union City, Tenn, Joyce McGinnis of Nashville, Tenn; Two Sons, Tommy Valentine of Puryear, Tenn, Randy (Sarah) Valentine of Puryear, Tenn; 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Son-In-Law, David McGinnis; Triplett Brothers, Kent Barrett and Keith Barrett; Brothers, Karl Barrett, William Barrett, Raymond Barrett; Grandchild, James Michael Wigdor; and Great Grandchild, Ryan Blake Boyd.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015 and from 12 – 2 pm Monday, March 9, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2015.
Chad Kennedy will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tillman Paschall, Danny Valentine, Travis Binkley, Max Middleton, John Valentine, Fred Paschall, Jerry Paschall, and Jim McCampbell.
Interment will be at Puryear City cemetery in Puryear, Tenn.

Sara A. Cherry
Sara A. Cherry, age 66, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center.
Services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at McEvoy Funeral Home. Friends may call at McEvoy Funeral Home, after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, until the service begins at Noon.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mary Lucille Parrish
Mary Lucille Parrish, age 88, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden, Tenn.
She was married March 22, 1943 to John Dee Parrish and he preceded in death April 4, 2007. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Methodist Church and formerly worked at the Mitchum Co. in Paris, TN.
She was born March 22, 1926 in Paris, TN to the late Josiah Conger and the late Nellie Ruth Green Conger.
She is survived by her One Daughter, Patsy (Jerry) Evans of Paris, Tenn; One Sister, Martha Hobby of Paris, Tenn; Grandchildren, Sherry (Chris) Mustain of Paris, TN, Leigh Ann (Mark) Roberts of Savannah, TN; Great Grandchildren, Jaelan Mustain, Brady Mustain, Rachel Roberts; Two Sister-in-laws, Pauline Conger of Paris, TN and Gail Conger of Dickson, TN.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by Brothers, James Conger and Joe Conger.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 1 – 4:30 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 4:30 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Marty Arnold officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Roberts, Chris Mustain, Jaelan Mustain, Brady Mustain, Mitch Hobby, and Larry Conger.
Interment will follow in Bevil cemetery in Paris, Tenn.

Willie "Mae" Sykes Olive
Willie "Mae" Sykes Olive, age 86 of Paris died at her residence on Monday March 2.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Saturday March 7th and after 1pm Sunday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Earnest Green
Earnest Stanley “Ernie” Green, age 92, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Martin Healthcare Center in Martin, Tenn.
He was first married to Betty Jane Sheets Green and she preceded in death. He then married Helen Manley Green and she preceded in death. He was a retired General Foreman for Stauffer Chemical Company in Mt. Pleasant, TN and was a US Army Veteran of WW II who served in Europe. He was also a ham radio operator for several years.
He was born February 10, 1923 in Glouster, OH to the late John Henry Greene and the late Dollie Markins Greene Stissel.
He is survived by his One Daughter, Beverley (Doug) Mosley of Paris, Tenn; One Son, Steven Greene of Memphis, Tenn; Three Sisters, Barbara YaCono of Monee, Ill, Phyllis Jepperson of Crete, Ill, Joyce (Charles) Clifford of Chicago, Ill; One Brother, Herbert (Charlotte) Greene of South Carolina; Grandchildren, Lori (David) Goodgine, Stephanie (Dan) Keele, Joel (Athena) Scott, Deena (Gary) Nance, Jennifer Cronion, Tara Greene, and Steven Greene; and 13 Great Grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by 8 other sibblings.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 1 – 3 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 with a Graveside Service to be in Columbia, TN on Monday March 9, 2015 at 11:00 am.
Gary Doughten and Corey Cain will officiate. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Interment will be at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tenn at 11:00 am Monday March 9, 2015.

Betty Burcham
Betty Sue McDaniel Burcham, age 67, of Murray, Ky., died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at her daughters residence in Murray, Ky.
Betty married Jimmy Burcham December 7, 2003 and he survives. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and gardening.
She was born August 27, 1947 in McKenzie, TN to the late Manny Fred McDaniel and the late Ivie Carroll McDaniel.
Besides her husband, She is also survived by her One Daughter, Kristy Brewer of Murray, Ky; Two Sons,
Timmy Bolton of Murray, Ky, Royce (Mary Beth) Bolton of Camden, Tenn; Two Step Daughters, Kimberly Ann Stepp of Paris, Tenn, Jennifer Lynn Burton of Puryear, Tenn; Two Sisters, Sarah Mae Wallace of Clarksville, Tenn, Ivy Nell Quinn of Greenfield, Tenn; One Brother, Willie Joe McDaniel of Gleason, Tenn; 13 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her Parents, Betty was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Kammie Sue Langley; Sisters, Lucille Brummitt and Frances McDaniel; Brothers, James, Foster, Elihu, Harlan and Eddie Lee McDaniel.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Tracy McDaniel will officiate. Family members will serve as Pallbearers.
Interment will be at New Bethel cemetery in Henry, Tenn.

Deborah Thigpen
Deborah Ann Thigpen, age 62, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She married April 13, 1977 to Jim Thigpen and he survives. She was presently the Executive Director for Tennessee Business Development Corporation in Paris and was also a Baptist in her faith.
She was born August 15, 1952 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Harvey S. Clinton and the late Dorothy Neighbors Clinton.
Besides her husband, She is also survived by her One Daughter, Meggen (Jason) Crockarell of Paris, Tenn; Two Sisters, Mitzie (Terry) Stanfill of Chattanooga, Tenn, Marilyn (Trey) Jones of Dayton, Tenn; Three Grandchildren, Alex Crockarell, Everett Golden, and Shea Crockarell; Sister-in-law, Patricia (Don) Elsea of Chattanooga, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Friday, March 6, 2015 and after 9:00 AM to Saturday, March 7, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Charles T. Cate will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ed Wheatley, Charlie Kirk, Albert Wade, David Miles, Brent Greer, Austin Perry and Mike Miles.
Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum in Paris, Tenn.
