O’Lene Callaway
WICHITA FALLS — O’Lene Callaway, 90, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa after a short illness.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, August 20, 2002, in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Crestview with Rev. Dennis Wilkinson, pastor of Floral Heights United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Vaughan Crestview, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, TX 76302; (940) 767-1770.
O’Lene was born September 8, 1911, in Anson to Austin Clyde Bailey and Maude Wright. On July 29. 1934, she married John “Marvin” Callaway. The couple were members of the Floral Heights Methodist Church in Wichita Falls for 54 years before moving to Odessa to be close to family.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John M. Callaway; sons, Gary and wife Cynthia Callaway of Odessa, and Wayne and wife Peggy Callaway of Laramie, Wyo.; grandchildren, Shawn Callaway and wife Anita of Arlington, Brent Callaway of Raleigh, N.C. and Shannon Callaway Haile and husband Phil of Madison, Wis., and Greg Callaway and wife Jennifer of Nashville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Cameron Mason Callaway of Arlington and Jackson Callaway Haile of Madison; brothers, Floyd Bailey of Houston, Rev. Wilfred Bailey and Clyde Bailey, both of Dallas.

William Edward Cockrell
ODESSA — William Edward Cockrell, 53, an oilfield welder, passed Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born March 31, 1949, in Logans Port, La.
He moved to Hobbs, N.M. at an early age where he was raised and educated. He entered the Navy and served at Vietnam from 1966 to 1972. He was a gunner in the Navy.
He worked as a welder in the oilfields most of his life. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Northside Baptist Church with Brother Clydel Chapman officiating.
He is survived by his father, John Holly of Plains; mother, Audrey Dyer of Plains; wife, Delinda C. Cockrell of Odessa; sons, Thomas Cockrell and Greggory Cockrell, both of Odessa; stepson, Stephen Workman of Ballinger; daughter, Kelli Cockrell of Odessa; stepdaughter, Nicole Workman of Ballinger; brother, John Stan Holly of New Braunfels; sisters, Deborah Spears of Plains and Delores Knotts of Lovington, N.M.; two grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Services entrusted to Memorial Services/Chapa Funeral Home, 1050 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas.

Juanita Barlow
GREENVILLE — Juanita Louise Barlow, 87, of Greenville, a retired Odessa teacher, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at a local hospital.
Memorial services were at 7 p.m. Monday at Family Fellowship of Greenville with the Revs. Rick Blue and Paul Blue officiating. Arrangements by Peters Funeral Home.
She was born in Sandspring, Okla., and had been a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ed Barlow of Pasadena; daughter, Sharon Blue of Greenville; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Harriett Beaver
MONROE, N.C. — Harriett Jane Beaver, 71, of Rome, Ga., a homemaker, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at an Atlanta area hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Lakeland Memorial Park with the Rev. De Hillyer officiating. Arrangements by Daniel’s Funeral Home.
She was born in Monroe, N.C. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jesse Michael Beaver of Levittown, Pa., Robert Dean Beaver and William S. Beaver, both of Rome; daughters, Teresa Dawn Swindell of Odessa and Kimberly Casey of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two brothers; a sister; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe Carrillo
FORT STOCKTON — Guadalupe M. Carrillo, 86, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Tony Carrillo Jr. of San Antonio, Sergio Carrillo of Midland, Herman Carrillo, Oscar Carrillo and Pompeyo Carrillo, all of Fort Stockton; daughters, Yolanda Payne of Arlington and Ninfa Camp of Belen, N.M.; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Florence Casey
ALPINE — Florence Casey, 102, of Bellville, a homemaker, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Elm Grome cemetery with the Rev. Michael Brunk officiating. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Wharton County and had been a longtime resident of Alpine. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Nephews, F. Tuck Focht of Kenney, John Focht of Houston and Frank Goss of Fort Worth; and nieces, Martha Ann Goss McGonigle of Austin and Helen Elaine McKean of Appleton, Wis.

Reba Hartman
SANTA ANNA — Reba D. Hester Hartman, 97, of Midland, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at the Trinity Towers in Midland.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Northside Church of Christ with Sam Wilson and Aaron Lemond officiating. Arrangements by Henderson Funeral Home.
She was born in Minden, La., and was a longtime resident of Midland. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Winnie Blansett of Midland; sons, Jonie Hartman of Odessa and Edd Hartman of Santa Anna; brothers, Walter Hester of Angleton and Edwin Hester of Houston; sister, Gladyene Potter of Fort Worth; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Donna Lansford
ODESSA — Donna Sharlene Lansford, 50, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Heatherington officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.

Ralph Mandson
ODESSA — Ralph Earl Mandson, 47, of Midland, manager of Rex Electronics in Midland, died Friday, March 29, 2002, in Midland.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ralph Mandson Jr., Wesley Mandson and Romeo Riggins, all of Midland; daughter, Jamicka Mandson of Louisiana; mother, Eula Mandson of Odessa; sisters, Beaulah Dangerfield, Jessie Mae Heslip, Debra Womack and Peggy Womack, all of Odessa, and Gloria Hardeman of Waco; and brother, Eddie Mandson of Odessa.

Dollie Moore
BIG SPRING — Dollie Faye Moore, 86, of Portland, a retired nurse’s aide, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at a Corpus Christi nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Ralph Anderson officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.
She was born in Mitchell County and had been a resident of Odessa and Big Spring. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Trilba Jane Ward of Portland, Wilma Faye Doss and Helen Laverne Putty, both of Odessa; son, Larry Edward Moore of Downey, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Jerry Osborn
MONAHANS — Jerry Osborn, 89, of Monahans, a retired sheriff’s deputy, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Monahans Memorial cemetery with Greg Holly officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Glen Rose. He was a Marines veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Stepsons, H.C. Matthews of Arlington, B.C. Matthews of Dallas, V.B. Matthews of Midland, Lawrence Barber of Odessa and Robert Barber of Raleigh, N.C.; and stepdaughter, Treasure Gollnick of Midland.

Dickey Windham
ODESSA — Dickey A. Windham, 62, of Odessa, a welder, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be private. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Paint Rock. He was a Navy veteran. He was Christian.

She was born in Waldo, Ark. She was Baptist.

ODESSA — Beatrice Vossler, 85, of Odessa, a retired bookkeeper, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Scoffield officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Dallas.
SURVIVORS: Son, Travis Vossler of Odessa; brother, Earl B. Young of Atlanta; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Maudie Warren
ODESSA — Maudie Warren, 90, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Rock, W.Va. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
