William Grissom
ODESSA — William Donald Grissom, infant son of Craig and Lisa Grissom of Odessa, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born at Odessa Regional Hospital.
SURVIVORS: Parents; grandparents, Betty Grissom and Mitchell Arnold, both of Odessa, and Rhonda Cupp of Mandeville, Wash.

Patty McPherson
ANDREWS — Patty McPherson, 62, of Andrews, died Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born in Tahoka and has lived in Andrews for most of her life. She had served as a teacher’s aide at the Eastland school system. She was a licensed realtor for 22 years and had started Southwest Realty in Andrews in 1994. She had served on the Andrews School Board from 1989-2001 and was currently serving on the Andrews Ex’s Association Board. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jerry McPherson of Andrews; daughters, Kim Smith of San Angelo and Pam Horton of Andrews; father, James Terrell Carlisle of Lovington, N.M. brothers, Jerry and Ernest Carlisle of Lovington; and four grandchildren.

Raul Vasquez
MIDLAND — Raul Y. Vasquez, 78, of Midland, died Sept. 10, 2002, in Midland.
Services are pending with Stanton Memorial Funeral Home.

Enitchel Collins
ANDREWS — Enitchel Collins, 81, of Andrews, operator of a lawn care business, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Andrews West cemetery with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Nixon and moved to Andrews in 1952 from Ballinger.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Will Jones, Enitchel E. Collins and Arthur Collins, all of Andrews, and Donny Collins of Midland; daughters, Mary Foster of Midland, Wyvonne Williams of Andrews, Paige Green of Houston and Bobbie Collins of Hobbs, N.M.; several brother; several sisters; 34 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Alton Everett
BURNET — Alton Gilbert Everett, 88, of Burnet, a retired Cardinal Chemical Company employee, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in Burnet.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Burnet with the Rev. Jim Owens officiating. Burial was at Burnet City cemetery. Arrangements by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home.
He was born in Burnet County. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Everett of Burnet, Ted Everett of Perth, Australia, and Don Everett of Hutto; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Joseph Ferrante
FORT STOCKTON — Joseph A. Ferrante, 85, of Fort Stockton, a tire analyst for Firestone, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothea Ferrante of Fort Stockton; Sons, Joseph A. Ferrante II of Aptos, Calif., and John Ferrante of Oak Point; daughters, Stephanie Wiley and Patti Bettis, both of Mesquite; brother, Anthony Ferrante of Lakewood, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and one step grandchild.

Eliria Fuentes
SARAGOSA — Eliria D. Fuentes, 74, of Saragosa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Saragosa cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Balmorhea. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Frank Fuentes of Saragosa; son, Hector Fuentes of Saragosa; daughter, Elia Estrada of Saragosa; brother, Lionisio Lopez of Anondale, Ariz.; and sisters, Eliboria Lopez of Saragosa, Alicia Duran and Guadalupe Vasquez, both of Mesa, Ariz.

Debbie McCorcle
IRAAN — Debbie Lois McCorcle, 82, of Iraan, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in Iraan.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Iraan Community Church. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Iraan.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Tommie Spencer McCorcle of Iraan; daughter, Tommie Hatfield of Iraan; sister, Frances Ditmore of Bastrop; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

ANDREWS — Adelle Moore, 75, of Andrews, the former owner of the Steak House in Andrews, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Enriquez officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Brownfield Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Terry County and moved to Andrews from Arkansas in 1973. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, J.D. Moore of Lampasas, Carl Moore of Scappoose, Ore., Billy Moore of Levelland; Kevin Moore of Bryan-College Station and Kirk Moore of Andrews; sister, Jauwauce Stevenson of Denver City; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Roy Moore
ANDREWS — Roy D. Moore, 89, of Andrews, a retired oilfield equipment operator, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Enriquez officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Brownfield Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Violet Lee Murray, 89, of Odessa, a retired restaurateur, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Commanche County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Don Murray and Ed. G. Murray, both of Odessa; sister, Lenora Day of San Antonio; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Esther Salinas
ODESSA — Esther Ramirez Salinas, 81, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Edward Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gregg Salinas of Odessa; daughters, Cris Jacquez of Odessa and Sandra Aguayo of San Angelo; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Garland Whitehead
ODESSA — Garland R. “Buddy” Whitehead, 73, of Odessa, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Joe Cardona III
MIDLAND — Joe Terrazas “J.T.” Cardona III, 46, of Midland, an electrician, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with the Rev. James Bridges officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Mary Dora Terrazas Cardona of Midland; father, Joe Cervantes Cardona Jr. of Odessa; brother, Fidel Terrazas Cardona of Midland; sisters, Stella Grace Mora and Juanita Terrazas Selmand, both of Midland, and Nora Terrazas Cardona-Valdez of Odessa.

Earl Geurin
ODESSA — Earl J. Geurin, 56, of Odessa, a self-employed house painter, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Demmings, N.M. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Chris Geurin of Odessa, James Geurin and Carl Geurin, both of Alaska; daughters, Kimberly Geurin of Odessa, Brandy Geurin and Julie Geurin, both of Alaska; brother, Albert Geurin of Clements, Calif.; and sister, Stella Dewey of California.

Wanda Perry
ODESSA — Wanda Gail Perry, 65, of Odessa, a former secretary, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Hospice House.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Santa Anna and moved to Odessa in 1950. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Bill Perry of Odessa; sons, Dean Perry of Albuquerque, N.M., and John Perry of Odessa; daughter, Cecelia Tandy of Brookfield, Mo.; brother, G.W. “Sonny” Setliff of Midland; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
