MIDLAND — Eddie H.T. Hunt, 86, Odessa died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services are pending with Memorial Services.

Elias Martinez
ODESSA — Elias Flores Martinez, 82, of Odessa, a retired employee of Sunset Memorial Gardens, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Terlingua. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Ofelia Martinez of Odessa; sons, Robert Martinez and Elias Martinez Jr., both of Lubbock; daughters, Viola McGarity, Mary Urias and JoAnn Mancha, all of Odessa, Diana Enriquez of Allen and Esther Estrada of Dallas; sisters, Concha Martinez, Theresa Martinez, Lupe Vega and Josefina Hernandez, all of Alpine; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Trinidad Samaniego
MULATO, Chihuahua, Mexico — Trinidad N. Samaniego, 73, of Odessa, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated Tuesday in Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mulato cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Evangelina Samaniego of Odessa; sons, Mario P. Juarez and Antonio / Juarez, both of Odessa; daughters, Margarita S. Juarez, Noemi S. Quiroz and Maria S. Juarez, all of Odessa; and 12 grandchildren.

ANDREWS — Robby Long, 48, of Andrews, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, in Houston.

ODESSA — Eva Rodriguez, 77, of Odessa, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at her residence.

BARSTOW — Cruz R. Anaya, 63, of Pecos, a Wal-Mart sales clerk, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church with the Rev. Miguel Angel Sanchez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Burial will be at Barstow cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Barstow. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Gilbert Anaya of Seminole, Larry Anaya and Jesse Anaya, both of Pecos, and Rene Anaya of Midland; daughter, Aida Leyva of Kermit; parents, Felix and Maria Rodriguez of Barstow; brothers, Reyes Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez, both of Barstow; sisters, Freda Griffin and Susan Rodriguez, both of Barstow; and five grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Socorro “Coy” Botello, 82, of Midland, a construction worker, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Pipkin Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Dolores.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ray Rodriguez and Robert Dominguez, both of Midland; daughters, Dora Hill of San Diego, Calif., Jo Ann Barrera of Lamesa, Gloria Valdez of Mesa, Ariz., Gracie Jurado and Geneva Heredia, both of Midland; brother, Gonzalo Botello of San Antonio; 22 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Miriam Carlisle
MONAHANS— Miriam Lucille Carlisle, 87, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Services will be at 10:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Monahans with the Rev. Jeff Box officiating. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Paducah.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Clinton R. Carlisle of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Mark A. Carlisle of Carlock, Ill.; brothers, Eugene McCain of Daly City, Calif., and Richard McCain of Boise, Idaho; sister, Geraldine McDevitt of Torrance, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

ODESSA — Sgt. Grady Earl Shelton, 83, of Odessa, owner of Shelton Construction, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Santa Anna and was a longtime resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Don Shelton of Odessa and Tim Shelton of Durango, Colo.; daughter, Leveta Shelton of Odessa; brother, L.T. Shelton of Lake Dallas; sister, FayDell Teague of Casper, Wyo.; and eight grandchildren.

ALPINE — Manuel Torres, 71, of Alpine, a maintenance worker, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at an Alpine hospital.

She was born in Spiro, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Son, Dale Gary of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

GLADEWATER — James A. Goble, 87, of Abilene, a retired Amaco oilfield pumper, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in Abilene.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rock Springs cemetery with the Rev. H.G. Barnard officiating. Arrangements by Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
He was born in Sullivan, Ind., and was a resident of Odessa. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Darlene West of Abilene; son, James B. Goble of Chula Vista, Calif.; brother, Paul A. Goble of Longview; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
