Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonny Poe officiating. Burial will be at the MS Doss Mausoleum. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lamesa. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Paula Cope of Seminole; daughters, Nona Dagley of Seminole, Betty Cope of Tulsa, Okla., and Mickie Spicer of Dallas; stepsons, Parrish Coppin of Austin and Stewart Rau of Houston; stepdaughter, Ashlyn Coppin of Austin; brothers, Dale Cope of Lake Placid, Fla., and Glenn Hillman of Seminole; sister, Betty Parker of Lake Placid, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

CRANE — Ruby Verna Dickson, 86, of Crane, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Crane memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Burial will be at the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Lebo, Mo. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ronnie Dickson of Odessa; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Maria Cortez Galvan, 75, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Hospice House.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Terlingua. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Roberto Galvan of Odessa; daughters, Maria Luisa Sanchez of Indio, Calif., Araceli Hernandez of Odessa and Armida Galvan of Austin; brothers, Miguel Cortez, Locadio Cortez, Jimmy Cortez, Johnny Cortez and Evaristo Cortez, all of Odessa; sisters, Paula Marquez, Angie Alvarado and Yolanda Hernandez, all of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON — Amelia Duarte Gomez, 64, of Fort Stockton, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with The Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Fernie Gomez of Fort Stockton; daughters, Amanda Gonzales, Carol Lujan and Cindy Gomez, all of Fort Stockton; mother, Eliza Duarte of Fort Stockton; and 11 grandchildren.

Manuel Prado Sr.
LOMAX — Manuel Prado Sr., 79, of Lomax, a farmer, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Regan officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
He was born in La Ferro. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Mario M. Prado Jr. of LaFeria, Mario O. Prado of Corpus Christi, Jorge Humberto Prado of Big Spring and Carlos Prado of Odessa; daughter, Martha Noyola of Snyder; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

ANDREWS — Ouida Wright, 76, of Andrews, a retired secretary, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Zap officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Rising Star. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Donny Wright of Odessa and Doug Wright of Gainesville; daughter, Denise Baker of Odessa; sister, Leta Loetz of Davenport, Iowa; brother, Kenneth Boyd of Amarillo; and four grandchildren.

PECOS — Lewis Cowart, 83, of Pecos, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Reeves County Hospital.

ANDREWS - Fleta Mae Carnes, 89, of Andrews, a retired teacher, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Andrews West cemetery with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Lassater. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Les Carnes of Midland; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

ODESSA - William Boyd Green, 77, of Odessa, a retired service station manager, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Shelting officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in De Kalb. He was Christian.

He was born in Stamford. He was a lifelong resident of Andrews. He was Baptist.

She was born in Albert Lea, Minn. She lived in Odessa for 31 years. She was Methodist.
